Was hoping to try on bridal dresses, but Thread has awful customer service. Do not return emails or phone calls. I thought they had gone out of business… their phone line was disconnected the last time I tried to get in touch.

I scheduled an appointment for this past weekend to go try on bridesmaids dresses with my best friend (the bride). When I was told they were having a pop up show in a hotel room I thought that was going to be a bit sketchy. NOPE. I got a text message that morning from my consultant telling us to meet her at a suite in the Bryant Park hotel… snazzzy. We showed up to a suite overlooking Bryant Park and they had champagne and sparkling water waiting for us. They had a candle burning and a great music playlist that made the room extra comfortable. Those two details seem silly and trivial unless you have been to other bridesmaid dress stores where its basically a smelly free for all. Their dresses were all beautiful and the consultants were very knowledgable and took their time with us. I think our appointment lasted over 2 hours and they didnt seem annoyed with us at all. And we said yes to the dress! Dont think twice about using Thread when picking bridesmaid dresses!

I went to their pop up store event today. They are so friendly and helpful. The dresses are beautiful, elegant and simple. I loved finally trying on affordable wedding gowns made of silk instead of polyester.
