Trump Grill

Tried the tower steak sandwich with garlic bread and blue cheese. Salad & fries steak was good tender jucy

food had no flavor. I had fried shrimp and even with tarter sauce it was bland

I tried the Cinco da Mayo special taco bowl. What is this? The beef was flavorless. The lettuce was wilted, salsa had so many cheap onions, no way am I kissing anyone for the next 3 days. I’m pretty sure the sour cream was old. Seriously, if you want Mexican, go to a Mexican restaurant. Not to a place selling a fake gold colored plastic lettered name.

I heard great things about the taco bowls. I tried it. Easy to eat with my smaller hands. However it was mediocre. Probably will sue for false advertisement.

Horrible food that has some odd orange coloring in all the dishes, and there’s no Mexican food on the menu, unlike what CERTAIN PEOPLE have been posting so social media.

fern bar food. quiet and good for meetings. the cobb salad nor the quesadilla’s weren’t the best or HUUGE.

Went for Sunday Brunch today. The service was impeccable. Food delicious and drinks superb. I ordered eggs Benedict and a «you’re fired,» which is a big Bloody Mary made with grey goose vodka. My sister ordered French toast and she asked if it was thick or thin. The waiter brought out the slice of bread and she was about to order something else but the waiter said the chef would gladly make the slices thinner. She was more than pleased. I have passed by Trump Tower countless times but never went on to dine. Can’t wait to come back for lunch or dinner!

Excellent food and great wine menu at Trump Grill! I love the scenery and the beautiful Christmas decorations! Trump knows how to do it right! Perfect service and delicious dishes! I could eat here everyday! I highly suggest the Burrata and the French Onion soup– you won’t regret it! Every restaurant could learn from Trump to kick it up a notch! Fantastic place and highly recommend it all the way!!! This restaurant really made my day today!

Service was impeccable! From the security staff to the wait staff! Thank you Terrell (Security), Ronny (Trump Grill), Flor (Trump Grill)…you all were sweet, accommodating, and conducted yourselves with excellence. You made our experience in Trump Tower worth the visit. The staff is a reflection of ownership.

Very helpful staff that retrieved my briefcase that I unwittingly left at the cash register. The salad was delicious. The server was nice, giving me all three types of lettuce. I had kidney beans, wheat, and green peppers as toppings. The seating was pleasant under the glassed in roof. I did not have to wait in line for my lunch. What a really nice experience. And then the price was right. What a nice surprise to find this restaurant at the last minute. I will definitely make it my destination for lunch when I visit NYC.

On our return home to Chicago from holiday, we were in NYC long enough to take lunch. A friend had given me the Grills awesome recipe for grilled Atlantic Salmon and I was curious how it would taste on location.
While I thought I followed the recipe spectacularly, the real McCoy was many moons better and was better plated than I’m capable of. I think I’ll be spending a little time in the kitchen this summer trying to perfect my recipe, which was amazing until I dined at the Trump Grill. The grilled vegetables, too. I think there might be a secret ingredient in them that I’m unaware of.
While there’s no way to avoid an expensive lunch bill, even by NYC standards, I’m ready to go back. As much as I wish it weren’t true, the Trump organization knows quality and good taste (minus the Donald’s comb over) when they see it.

I thought that since this was our first time to NYC in over 10 years that this was a must place to eat. My husband and I each had the prix fixe luncheon special for $ 23…choice of sandwiches or a pasta dish, fries and a dessert… We each ordered the burger and I could tell this was no ordinary ground beef but probably the finest I’ve ever tasted! Service was impeccable. Saw George Ross eating just a few feet away… that made our day! Décor was gorgeous! A must for first-​time visitors!

Came with a good offer for lunch — forturnately we didn’t have to pay the full price…
We had the Crab Cake for appetizer — decent; a 3-​star material.
Egg and Steak — my bf thought it was ok (only because he has tastes all steak the same as long you fully cooked it…)
Filet Mignon — I had to ask them to remake it for me as i ordered rare but it came with medium/​medium rare. And it’s the thinnest/​flattest filet mignon I’ve ever had…(Isn’t filet mignon supposed to be a thick cut? I’mt not sure but I can certainly tell why this one is easily over-​cooked…)
Service was ok… food is ok… but def not worth $ 80…Will never come back…

GARBAGE! Not only is 1 star too much, I wish there were negative stars available. I came here with my boyfriend lured into this horrendous experience for a couple cocktails and appetizers by a deal on Travel-​zoo. I swallowed my apprehension of heading to such a tourist trap on a Friday night in hopes it would be a worth while experience. I was terribly wrong. There was 1 waitress working the entire floor on a FRIDAY night which isn’t even the most insane part of this whole awful place. We stood by the hostess stand upon our arrival for at least 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged. Lets not even talk about how long it took to get seated. When we were seated, we were left for about another 10 minutes before WE had to ask for menus. When we finally ordered (roughly 45−1HR into our experience) we waited about an hour for the SADDEST. EXCUSE. FOR. «FOOD». I. HAVE. EVER. SEEN.
Seriously, my chicken quesadilla has a few measly strands of cheese, and forget about chicken, there was none. One small bite into the corner and all the contents were gone leaving half of the slice empty. That aside, it was cold and gross. The other app we had was equally heinous.
The wait goes on while we try to get the hell out of there after hours of bull shit. Another long wait for the check. Gratuity is included. Whatever, we wouldn’t stiff anyone but auto 18%…really?
I will never go here again. I am just so shocked that this place is in one of the most beautiful and affluent buildings in NYC.
DO NOT COME HERE. EVER.

Service was so so… lunch was not worth $ 100. The pasta portion was smaller than appetizer size and my hamburger came out on a supermarket hamburger bun, how embarrassing you would think Trump could afford a nice bakery bun not wonder bread and the burger was also over done
And finally the dessert… pear sorbet, tasted like the freezer
And to finish it all off 18% tip automatically added (just 2 of us) that explains the poor service, they know they will be making money so why give good service

Absolute crap. Will never come here again. You’d get better food for a better price pretty much anywhere else. Everything here tastes like diner food. There is no experience or effort put into any of the cooking. Even the wait staff are lazy and uninterested in their work.
I liked the look of this place, and it’s fun to check out inside. The hostess was nice and seated us where we wanted so I thought we were off to a good start.
A little later I realized I had spoken too soon– my burger was dry and unseasoned, the buns were cold and the waiter was hardly around. I could have had a better burger almost anywhere in the entire city, which brings me to my next point: If you are looking for food just remind yourself, this is NY– there is always going to be better food somewhere else.
This place is being carried solely by the «Trump,» name and nothing more. I guarantee you Donald Trump would never eat here and if he did he would be horrified at what his establishment serves him.
This place is ridiculously overpriced and you’re paying more for the experience than anything else. Lunch for two can end up costing you about 80 bucks easily. What a scam. I’ve never paid so much for just average food. I’d have a better time at a neighborhood barbeque than eating here again.
This is a fancy IHOP and nothing more. Take my advice and go eat somewhere else.

I went here once with three friends for lunch on a week day. The location is nice right inside the Trump Tower. It was quite busy and we sat at a table next to one of the Trumps sons. I ordered French Onion soup and Shrimp Scampi. The soup was delicious and a good size portion, the price of 8,00 USD is not too bad. The scampi was good also, again a good size portion, but the taste was a bit bland a boring compared to my preference.
40 USD for lunch is not cheap but it’s a classy and elegant place with the right ambiance for either a business lunch or if you want to impress someone. Service is pretty good, although we had to wait for the check too long. To conclude, I will come here again.

We passed by on the 5^th n looked for restaurant for lunch. We expected not cheap for lunch at Trump, but, the menu was ok.
The waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was better than we expected.
