I’m so glad that I checked this street fair out on my way back home. Even though it was called Urbanspace, it was slightly different from the Urbanspace at Vanderbilt food hall — they have Paella shack, Masa sandwich, Domo taco, aside from the original Hai Street and Bankok BAR. About ten vendors in total, fewer than the food hall, yet definitely more tilted towards food-cart ambience. Plenty of seating just next to the stands, however it usually got filled up quickly. Cash only.

God I wish I had one of these places in my hometown! I love the whole concept of this place. You’re able to try multiple popular NY restaurants in one location & it’s a shared table, community type dining area. Super hipster & I love it! The only downside to this set up is trying to pin down a table, but once you swipe one its all good. Food wise I went with a lobster roll since it seemed to be a hit with other Unilocalers. They did not stir me wrong. The flavor was delicious and very fresh. I also enjoyed the homemade pickle that came along with it. The meal was a bit pricey around $ 20ish but still worth it. If you haven’t been to this place, do it! You won’t regret it.

Loved the décor and bustling vibe of this place! Love coming here for lunch since you can get a bunch of quality food in one spot. I had pizza and lobster roll, both were top notch. Would keep coming back here for lunches going forward.

This pop-up site for food booths opened again several days ago. On Broadway, just South of Times Square. A vendor told me that the location will stay open until June 14th. The Melt Bakery from LES is the first booth as you walk South from 41st St. Excellent ice cream sandwiches — just in time for Summer. If I can locate a complete vendor list, I will post it or add a link. About twenty booths. Burgers, barbeque, Thai, Greek, Turkish, vegan, French, a long list. There is permanent outdoor seating along Broadway which is a nice touch.

This is for the 2015 version, which isn’t far from Broadway Bites geographically or conceptually. For me it’s simply too close to Times Square, but as such it’s a great alternative to the chains in the area if you find yourself limited in jurisdiction and strapped for time, and it’s a nice day. PS UrbanSpace is one word

Really neat concept. Random restaurants set up shop on Broadway to attract the hungry lunch crowds. This is a great opportunity to try different foods all in one space. My only gripe is the price, but I’m assuming it is very expensive to rent space here.

Urbanspace does it again!!! Their newest market is on Broadway between 39th&41st Sts. There are a few of the old standbys and some new places. I tried the pastrami dumplings from Brooklyn Wok Shop, yes I said pastrami dumplings and they were amazing!!! Go go go!!! Review from 9⁄23 had a problem with 1st post.
