Vidov Salon

This place is amazing! Really friendly staff and a very cozy place! My husband and I both got our hair cuts there. Since I only cut my hair once a year, My husband has become a regular whenever we come to NYC we always go see Willow! She does an amazing job cutting my husbands hair!

Bradley is a hair god. Also, all of the other stylists/​colorists are so nice! Plus the salon is absolutely breathtaking. Everyone here makes sure you’re well taken care of. Can’t wait to go again.

The salon itself is so pretty, it really feels like a retreat from reality.
I’ve been taken care of by Ryan Nickulas (color and blow out) and Arielle Perez (for my curly look).
Ryan took the time to get to know me, to know my personal style and to know my hair! After taking his advice, my hair is healthier and shinier than it has ever been.
He convinced me to try my hair curly at least once, and left me in the hands of Arielle Perez. She taught me a few tricks on how to handle this versatile mane of mine. Then he stepped in and gave my locks a polished look.
Based on my experience with these two stylists, I highly recommend going to Vidov Salon — it’s worth the investment in your hair.

I have been coming to Vidov for about a year and each time time my hair comes out more perfect than the last. Willow is a gem. I have thick curls and as most curly girls know, it’s hard to find a stylist who gets it!

Fallon from vidov is amazing. I am probably the most picky person when it comes to haircuts. I need every strand and every layer to be immaculate and Fallon delivers flawlessly every single time. I’ve never been happier getting my haircuts with her since I started 3 years ago. If you come to vidov, make sure you ask for Fallon!!!

Katiria is the absolute best! She has been doing my color and keratin for 5 years and my hair is the healthiest it has ever been and I get compliments on my highlights all the time. I have a ton of curly hair and she has no problem whipping in into shape. Vidov salon is gorgeous and tranquil. Nothing better than a great stylist, a glass of wine and a convenient location.

I’m upset that I only just recently discovered Vidov Salon! The stylists here are all extremely friendly, accommodating, and incredibly talented. I initially started coming here for blowouts via Vive (request Liane, she gives the best blowouts ever!) I ditched my former salon, and now only go to Vidov for my haircuts and color. My hair is now thicker and healthier than it’s ever been.

Vicki is extraordinary! I recently moved from
Boston and needed to find someone to take my hair to the next level. I found this salon through Instagram (she has multiple celebrity clients) and thought I would give it a try. I really wanted to give Vicki the freedom to work her creativity and gave her an overall vision of what I wanted. I was blown away! She used many techniques I never have seen before and was extremely particular on my hair cut. I never have had anyone take as much time/​work as she did on mastering my hair. Which was extremely appreciated. It was obvious she is at the top of the hair game and the NYC hair queen!
The salon was super cute and cozy. Not only were the other stylists/​workers friendly, the other clients were also friendly. I knew getting my hair done in NYC was gonna cost a friendly penny and was expecting to step into a stuffy salon with snobby workers and clients. I’m so happy this was not the case.

Williow is such an amazing talented stylist. If you want amazing highlights and low lights for dimension she is your girl! She takes her time with you and really understands what your long term goal is or if you want to switch it up she helps guides you.

As much as this is a review for the salon, it’s more so a review for Fallon, the only person I will ever let touch my hair. I’ve been a client of Fallon for years and it doesn’t matter, long, short, single process or highlights, she’s done it all on my hair. We even tried the Opti straightening treatment last may after years of doing Keratin treatments to manage my wavy/​curly/​unruly hair!
Fallon is just absolutely incredible, words don’t do justice to her way with hair! Even when I slack in getting my hair done regularly, I can walk out the door and will get asked if I just recently got a hair cut, with my hair having grown out for 4 – 5 months… if that is not a sign of a good hair stylist, I’m not sure what would be! I’ve had my hair super long and super short, and my hair isn’t exactly the easiest to cut and style, before straightening it was wavy and had a mind of it’s own, but Fallon excels at all hair types, styles, and textures, she herself has curly hair so she knows how to deal with the unruly hair types!
Above and beyond her excellent hair cutting skills, if there’s one person who knows color, it’s Fallon, hands down. I have naturally dark (black-​brown) hair, and we’ve taken my hair through the spectrum of colors from blue/​black, black, brown, to shades of red and some funky colors too (pink, purple, and light blue to name a few). I work in the world of banking, so Fallon has helped keep the fun in my hair while maintaining an overall «conservative look». In more recent months, I decided to go with balayage highlights which Fallon masterfully painted on my hair giving me fun but natural looking highlights.
Since I started to see Fallon years ago, my hair has continuously looked healthy, shiny and well maintained. For as long as we reside in NYC, I will not see anyone else when it comes to my hair!
Now onto the salon, I will say Vidov Salon is a beautiful salon! The staff is always friendly and they’re always accommodating and making customers feel at home. I tend to go in the off hours when the salon isn’t so packed, but it’s a nice retreat from the chaos of the big city!

Let it be known– Fallon is a hair genius! I will never let anyone else go near my hair again!
Since starting with Fallon my hair has transformed from dry and brittle to healthy, long and beautiful. Not to mention she chose a gorgeous natural looking shade for my hair. I never thought I’d love my hair again, and I get tons of compliments!

I could write a 500 word essay on how much I love Fallon because she is a hair godsend. I started seeing her back in 2012 when I went grey at a very young age (damn genetics). Since I started seeing her my hair has been 100 times healthier. She brought back my natural curls all while allowing me to play with a variety of different hair colors. I’ve been blonde, blue, violet/​purple, and blonde ombré all without damaging my hair. She really takes the stress out of my hair styles. I come to her with a vague idea and she always brings it to life exceeding my expectations. These days I see her regularly for my roots and I love that on top of the touch ups, she recommends subtle ways for me to change up my color or cut throughout the seasons. I also ended up recommending her to my cousin for her wedding and her hair was stunning (No surprise there!) Anyway she is a hair genie and up for any challenge you have. Bonus points for understanding crazy curly hair!

I’m really surprised it took me so long to find a stylist in New York that knows what they are doing. She gave me knowledgable feedback about what needed to be done to my hair, and how I can take better care of it between cuts.
I have long, thick hair and not all stylists know how to manage it. I would recommend Fallon to anyone.

This salon is probably one of my favorite places in all of NYC. The staff is on their game. The environment is gorgeous, romantic, and relaxing. I am a curly girl and needed an expert to give my crown some definition and excitement. Vicky went in and layered it beautifully. I was getting into such a routine styling my hair with a barrel curler because I didn’t know how to tame my curls properly. Well, Willow will show you how! Seriously, if you are a curly girl you cannot go wrong with vicky and willow.

I love this salon: the location is great and the staff is so friendly. I hate when someone shampoos your hair with their fingernails and that has never happened here, in fact they massage your scalp.
Low is a gem. My hair is really temperamental with color and will pick up the slightest hint of red and she’s managed to keep me ginger free for years. She knows how to cut my super fine hair so that it looks fuller which most hair dressers will fake by adding a ton of mousse, so at the salon it looks great but once you get home it falls flat within a couple hours. Come here if you want to be confident that your hair is going to look beautiful!

Fallon is literally a godsend. I will never let anyone else do my hair ever again. I am terrible at determining what looks good on me and she always has great insight and suggestions — she completely transformed my look with a cut and color that were gorgeous and seriously easy to manage.
Fallon also recently did the opti-​smooth treatment on my hair — I cannot even begin to explain how much this has changed my life. I just got back from a vacation in the extremely humid Amazon jungle, and I didn’t even have to bring my hair straightener — my hair dries naturally flat and straight now and it has seriously saved me so much time and improved the quality of my life incredibly.
Beyond being an absolute artist and amazing at what she does, Fallon always makes coming into the salon fun. The entire staff at Vidov is amazing, welcoming, and just all around a delight to be around.

Fallon was absolutely amazing! I booked her to do my bridal hair as well as my bridesmaids and other members of my family for my wedding day. She and her assistant were able to complete all 9 women on schedule and everyone looked positively beautiful. They worked with many different hair textures of many different ethnicities and lengths with ease and created a cohesive look for the day while still letting each person have their individuality. I highly recommend booking Fallon for your wedding for just for getting glam for a special occasion!

Bradley is LITERALLY the king of hair, seriously, so talented. I can’t believe there aren’t more reviews on here! His color/​highlight technique is amazing — no matter what color your hair is, he always makes it look natural. I’m blonde and never have to worry about brassy/​orangey/​ugly highlights — that shit will not fly with him! He never cuts corners that would save him time, but could damage my hair.
I love that he always listens to exactly what I want and somehow makes it even better than I pictured. A true gem, and it doesn’t hurt that he is dreamy! ;)

I had an amazing experience at Vidov Salon today with Willow. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and totally hilarious. The rest of the staff could not have been nicer. Looking forward to returning in the near future.
