I came to write a review for Dr. Joshua Levinger and I’m surprised this place doesn’t have more stars because I had an excellent experience both with the staff at this office and with my doctor. I arrived at the office and waited less than 15 minutes, and the front office was organized and friendly. Dr. Levinger was so sincere, professional, and helpful! I had been getting sick for the longest time with tonsil infections and strep throat but was too big a baby to get my tonsils removed. Turns out tonsils play an important role and most people shouldn’t unnecessarily have them removed… I was not one of those people. My tonsils were working against me and a friend had her tonsils removed in adulthood after a similar experience; she told me it helped her a lot. My experience with Dr. Levinger and the tonsillectomy was flawless. My surgery was performed at an outpatient surgical center on the Upper East Side. The surgical center was wonderful and organized, I had the nicest nurses assigned to my care, and oh yeah, my anesthesiologist was incredibly handsome… that never hurts! I had pain after surgery for maybe 3 – 4 days(not terrible but uncomfortable) and was back to normal activities in just a couple days. Since having the surgery, I don’t think I’ve had strep throat even once and the number of times I get sick a year has gone down dramatically. I’m so happy I had the tonsillectomy and I highly recommend you have Dr. Levinger perform the surgery if you are in the area!

Excellent doctor’s office. I went to see Dr. Chen(dermatology). I arrived 15 minutes early as they requested to fill out paperwork and was taken shortly after filling it out. I waited a few minutes for the doctor and then she came in, did a quick skin inspection, answered my questions, and I was out the door! Everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly. The offices are bright and clean and easily accessible by several train lines. Highly recommended!

Dr. Jeremy Schwartz is a great gastroenterologist: very caring, very thorough. Dr. Manheimer is also decent, but told me different billing information than how I ended up being billed, so I was billed $ 360 more than I was promised. There are some serious negatives about going to this facility. It is VERY difficult to get in touch with the doctor and his nurse. Usually no one answers the phone and you must leave a message. Also I emailed Dr. Schwartz through the Weill Cornell CONNECT message system and did not get a response. Dr. Schwartz performs procedures at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital which was recently bought by Cornell. This hospital is not the best, and is not on par with the Cornell hospital uptown. It is still in transition and they are working on upgrading the facilities and staff. I also had a billing issue where I was incorrectly billed and it took 4 months of back and forth with the medical secretary, where I was promised it would be taken care of and it was not. Absolutely the worst organized and most dishonest medical office I have ever dealt with in my life. Dr. Manheimer and his secretary completely lied to me about what I would be charged for a service(They ended up billing me $ 360 more than I was supposed to be billed) and then said they would resolve it and never did. I have called their office at least 100 times to try to have this issue resolved, but no one follows through whatsoever or helps. They say they will call back or fix a problem and they do not do it. What a waste of time to deal with such incompetent and disorganized people. Dr. Manheimer refused to meet with me, and would not help me or correct the incorrect bill. He referred my issue to the office manager who never contacted me. I ended up needing to pay the $ 360 because no one would help me resolve the billing issue over 4 months of back and forth, trying to get in touch with someone to help me. Cornell ultimately sent me a legal notice that I would be sued by Weill Cornell if I did not pay. Absolutely disgraceful customer service and communication.
