I’m french and that’s the place to be when you miss your country. The two waitress marija and jaymie was really nice. Definitively a good spot.

Caught the end of one act and was still asked to pay full cover. That was on top of the food/​drinks. No A/​C so quite uncomfortable down there. Crowd felt pretentious. Might try again in winter but not convinced I should. Food and drinks were good.

Went here earlier this afternoon. It was too beautiful out to not eat out. I had the ahi tuna tartare and it was absolutely amazing. It was light and delicious. I paired it with a glass of rose from Provence. It was a perfect summer meal. I highly recommend this bistro!!!

I love this place,
Tucked away in the jubilant west village, why not Jazz is the perfect place to spend a delightful evening listening to some of the best talent in town. Accompanied by a great glass of wine, and candle lit ambiance, it sets the mood perfectly for light conversation and brings out your appreciation for live jazz music.
The food pallet is from France, and the portions are appropriate,
Definitely going to pay this place visit again.

I really like this place for its cozy ambiance. It’s as though it’s a local secret, tucked below a wonderful coffee place. I usually go for the live jazz shows on the weekdays. It’s not as packed as the touristy jazz places nearby, and gives one the opportunity to listen and mingle with local up-​and-​coming jazz musicians. Great scene!

After stepping into the Why Not bistro upstairs for a glass of wine, I discovered the Jazz Room in the basement. I came back to the Why Not Jazz Room on a different night and listened to two different acts. Both acts played fantastic jazz. Additionally, I enjoyed great service as well as fantastic wine and tapas. Further, I absolutely loved the atmosphere. The space is intimate and quaint with stylish stone walls and nice small wooden tables that work well together, but the space is certainly not too small. The French staff served me with a European flair that made me feel like the most important person in the place. I’ve been to other jazz places before that are too crowded or too trashy, but I really enjoyed the atmosphere and music here at the Why Not Jazz Room. I had a great time. I will definitely be back.
