Summary: a decent froyo place for those who live nearby, but there are better choices out there if you venture out a bit. Venue: this place is a on Broadway just a bit north of Soho, but below St Marks area. The place is not really big, but I like the decoration and they also have 2nd floor with trendy furniture. The chandelier definitely gives it a upscale look. The place was completely empty on a Wednesday 6pm. Food: They have posters saying that it was«voted best yogurt in NYC». well that’s very debatable, as I disagree with that. First, they only have 2 flavors, chocolate and plain. At the time of visit, they don’t even have chocolate anymore(or they didn’t make it for that day). The selection of toppings are limited compared to today’s standards. At that time, the only real fruits they had was strawberries, and pineapple. The mango was mango purée. Also, for about $ 4.5 for small size, it only comes with 2 toppings. Kinda stingy. As for the yogurt, I had better ones in Red Mango or Pinkberry. The yogurt was served on a small cup like a sundae style. However, the yogurt melts quickly and if you don’t eat quickly, you’ll have a pool of melted yogurt around your cup! Also, due to the design, the guy had to put the fruits at the bottom of the cup before serving the yogurt, so you don’t get to eat the toppings until you’re almost done with the yogurt, completely defeated the purpose of «toppings». Service: There was only 1 guy working on a Wednesday night. And it’s semi-self service. Nothing to say much here. Would I go back? As a froyo fanatic, most likely not. I haven’t tried out their ice cream yet. There seem to be many choices, but they’re not that appealing to me.

A tart Italian frozen yogurt that’s not for everyone. The only flavor options are chocolate and vanilla, the chocolate tastes almost bitter to me(not in a good way), but the vanilla has a perfect tart taste. For $ 4.75 the small size comes with two free toppings. Even though they give you a nice serving of yogurt, it seems a bit pricey.

I ordered half plain yogurt, half pistachios gelato and a small size dark chocolate gelato which is made without milk. These two flavors are extremely tasty.

This was a impromptu stop, my friend coming from TX to visit her daughter who lives in Queens, we met up in SOHO for desert and casual conversation. We knew we wanted ice cream but wasn’t sure where to go. As we walked on Broadway this little bright shop popped out. They only had banner and paper signs so maybe they hadn’t been there long. They have yogurt, gelato, crepes and some other miscellaneous items on their menu. My friend’s daughter had something mint gelato which she devoured. My friend and I had the yogurt with 2 toppings which come with the price of a small size $ 4.75. I had cookie dough and caramel and she had strawberries and pineapple. The yogurt was on the tart side no flavor just plain ol’ yogurt. The toppings made it work. However, if you don’t get a liquid topping you won’t taste the other solid toppings until you get to the bottom to mix your yogurt which kinda sucked since there is not much mixing space at the bottom as the cups are not deep. Oh yea and about that the cups are durable hard plastic which I found a waste to throw away good size to use at home for a dipping sauce of some kind. Overall ok frozen yogurt.

Was craving frozen yogurt and saw this place. It looks a little run down from the front but there’s actually a lot of nice seating upstairs and the yogurt is pretty good! Ordered a small cup of yogurt($ 5). They only had tart flavor — it was creamy and not too sweet. You get two free toppings with it so I got strawberries and blueberries which tasted pretty fresh.

I love love love the affogato! Turns out, learned the 2nd time I went that the lovely man behind the counter is from Russia, not Italy, though he told us he spent more than 20 years in Italy. He let us try several different gelato flavors, answered all our questions(mostly from my inquisitive cousin!), and I had my affogato again. It’s espresso served over gelato, usually stracciatella, a creamy neutral flavor with dark chocolate chips in it — but you can get any flavor you want, & they do have decaf espresso as well.

This frozen yogurt is so good. Brings me right back to Greece where the frozen yogurt is just like Yogorino’s – dense, creamy, and actually tastes like real, tangy yogurt. Not icy or airy at all. Best frozen yogurt in the city by far, and I’ve had my fair share. Yogorino is the answer to my frozen yogurt prayers!

Its not amazing. The yogort is one flavor, plain. Topping for it are lackin. nothing special and unique. The gelato def looks like it’s melting. I had the pineapple and mint chocolate chip, it tasted blend and melting within 2 secs. Customer service is ehh just paid and ate and left. There is small seating downstairs and then upstairs some more room. Probably won’t back, at least not for the gelato. They also sell crepes but very reluctant to try that.

When I first walked in i wanted to immediately walk out. Their Gelato looks melted and their toppings for their froyo look just plain old and really gross. This paired with the fact that the store looked dirty didn’t help matters. I only stayed because my girlfriend didn’t feel like trying to find another froyo place around. The froyo met my very low expectations just barely. They put their toppings… on the bottom of the cup… and then swirl on some froyo that has a taste that I’ve never experienced from froyo. Additionally, the cookie dough topping tasted like old flour. It was a really unpleasant $ 5 cup of froyo. However, the guy working the counter was pretty nice and was generous with the toppings when asked. Besides their food being. weird… and the place not looking all that clean, they have a cool in-store dining aesthetic with a chandelier and all white loft seating. They just need to spruce it up and change the food they serve and how they present it.

I got the novita flavor which is like their version of chocolate chip cookie gelato. But it just kind of tastes like … the cookie(without chocolate chips). It wasn’t bad. Wasn’t good. There are like so many other places(amorino, oddfellows, fresco etc) that aren’t far off so you’re probably better off going there for gelato/ice cream.

This froyo tries to be both sweet and tart, and achieves neither. Pass.

Decent frozen yogurt. The guy wouldn’t even cut more strawberries and only had pineapples to offer. The new spot has more seating but it is disgusting. Looks like it has never been cleaned, if you aren’t going to clean then you should choose a different color. Take your froyo to go.

Surprised there is only 1 yogorino in NYC and the fact that it was NOT busy on a sunny Saturday afternoon last week… what in the world???(I’m from Philly so there’s 3 Yogorinos there, and there’s always people going in and out of them!) It tastes great and creamy as ever. They only offer one flavor of froyo, the original tart one, but it’s not like other crappy watery froyo places. It’s super creamy, almost like soft serve ice cream but not as dense. And you get to choose one topping for free, while additional ones cost extra. I chose pineapple. My only qualm was that the guy put my fruit under the froyo which makes it harder to eat the fruit in the beginning… but I’m not too sad over that because he was pretty generous with the medium serving size for the froyo. There’s some seating upstairs that’s pretty trendy looking and modernistic. This place also has a stampcard you can get for free, so that you can get a free froyo once you buy enough times! I would definitely come here so much more often if it was closer to where I worked.

Eating frozen yogurt here made me wonder what on god’s green earth I have been eating at Pinkberry, Red Mango, 16 Handles, you name it. Straight up super-processed, chemical-ridden, vaguely-dairy frozen blobs. This stuff is REAL. The yogurt is tart, but pairs fantastically well with sweet toppings(think about your Chobanis and Fage yogurts, this makes sense). The texture feels real, the yogurt and toppings taste like naturally-occurring products in this world. My guy ordered a(very tall) small with strawberries, chocolate sauce and cookie dough. Mine had Sicilian pistachio sauce(THISISREAL + F-ING DELICIOUS), chocolate chips and cookie dough. Mine was the winner.

YUMMAYINMAHBELLAY. Italian froyo, drizzle it with dark chocolate and add a layer of fruit underneath and you’ve got an amazing treat. By itself, the yogurt is thick/creamy/cream-cheesy, which I prefer. With the added toppings, it just blends together really well. Plentiful seating upstairs. The place itself looks a little run-down and the tables are wobbly. Check in for 10% off. You MUST get the chocolate drizzle.

What is it about San Francisco? When I was there, the line was out the door for Yogorino. I was very curious, but gave up, only to see Yogorino here, months later. Yogorino’s frozen yogurt tastes like frozen yogurt. As in, yogurt that has been frozen. As in, you can smell and taste the acidophilus. Bacteria that is good for you and your gut. It makes you think about all of the yogurt you’ve consumed from Red Mango, Pinkberry(ew), 16 Handles, etc… and how you’ve been bamboozled. What the hell did they do with the bacteria? So maybe the question is, what is it about NYC?

Five stars for the Italian froyo only. One year I embarrassingly ate froyo at least 3 times a week… Mostly pinkberry. This froyo beats them all: super creamy, thick, teeny bit tart but overall not really. Get the Sicilian pistachio topping with strawberries(you get to pick two). I accidentally ordered the medium because the cups looked small. Little did I know that they stack on the froyo wayyy past the cup’s height. So beware. Diet was out the window.

I had intended on coming here to try their fro-yo but I was so fascinated by their HUGEGELATOCENTRIFUGE that I ended up w gelato. ORGANICPEANUTBUTTER – YUM! Peanut butter but in a LIGHT, NOT-SO-RICH kinda way. The first couple of bites were good but then I started to get a WEIRDGRAINYAFTERTASTE in my mouth. NUTELLA – tasted more MILKY like a stracciatella. I DIDN’T TASTEANYNUTELLA at all actually. Very disappointing. The color was off as well; it was very light. I also tried a sample of their FRO-YO – TOOTART, THICK, ANDCREAMCHEESE-Y for my liking. There’s a really cute upstairs seating space. The owner was super nice and let us try whatever we wanted. FYI you can get two sample in a cup FYIREWARDCARDAVAILABLE
