Excellent. As far as AYCE sushi goes in Manhattan, this place is the best. I used to come here a lot a few years ago, but since I moved around a bit I hadn’t been here. Recently they changed the price(I feel like it’s cheaper) and expanded the AYCE menu to include other options. I had no issue getting a table on a Saturday night. And the food came out fast, and it was fresh. We got some chicken karage appetisers as well as pork gyoza — both great — and lots and lots of nigiri. Tuna, salmon, tuna tataki, baby octopus, scallop, eel, you name it ! All fantastic. I also got 4 Yuka hand rolls, which are negitiro with ikura. Hot lanta, they were fantastic. $ 1 extra but worth it. Highly recommend this place. Service is great. They actually used to have a no tipping policy(just included a service charge instead) but that has apparently changed. Don’t mind either way.

Great place for all you can eat sushi. Whenever I go somewhere for ayce i don’t expect great quality food. Given that, I was very pleased with the sushi here. It’s $ 23.95 pp and you get a selection of rolls or handrolls or special rolls and appetizers. Most are simple salmon, tuna, California roll, spicy tuna, assortment of typical nigiris, etc. But for the more special ones, you have to pay an extra $ 1. The rice was warm and wasn’t too much compared to the amount of fish. Many sushi places put a ton of rice on the bottom. This was good because then you don’t fill up just from eating rice. The quality of fish was mediocre. Nothing spectacular/mind-blowing but fresh and consistent from piece to piece. There were only 4 appetizers as a part of the ayce menu and not many specialty rolls. I personally prefer nigiri but for people who like rolls, this might not be the best place if you’re doing ayce. The service was attentive and the waiters were very friendly. The atmosphere is very casual, but not too loud or rowdy. I would definitely come back again for ayce when I’m craving just a ton of sushi.

So it seems Yuka has been sold off to a new owner and the beloved«No-Tipping» policy has been abolished and a service fee can no longer be found on the check. Now the important question is has it affected the service or quality of the food? Surprisingly, the rice portions for the AYCE sushi is smaller and the service is just as good. They even include 3 kitchen appetizers(gyoza, spring roll, and karaage). That’s an extra star in my book!

Without being a sushi connoisseur tough for me to fully evaluate the opportunity — the overall experience was pretty good and the restaurant was decent. The all you can eat sushi is definitely the option to go with. Between the egg rolls, dumplings and miso soup that are also included in the all you can eat option this is by far the most economical choice. However, slightly annoying that the better rolls still cost a buck extra or so. The sushi was fairly fresh and nothing tasted bad per se but nothing seemed to blow me away. I was most surprised by how large a ‘hand roll’ was — it seemed to be the size of 3 or 4 little sushi rolls.

First off, I came here to try the unlimited Sushi :) and I was not disappointed! They offer you 3 types of orders each round, and the guest must consume all the portions served in one round to qualify for the next round of sushi, and the total time per person is 1 hr 45 mins. The 3 types are cut(6 mini pieces, the usual sushi roll), hand roll(1 large serving in a conical roll) and 1-piece sashimi sushi. You only get about 50% of total menu items in the barebones basic $ 22.50 offer, and the rest 50% of the menu items need you to pay $ 0.50 or $ 1.00 each time you order them(this is the only reason I am taking one star away) I really enjoyed most of the items I ate! I really recommend the salmon skin hand roll :) That was my favorite ! I also loved the Avocado roll. Regards, Vishnu

The old owner sold the place in January. It’s clear that the new owner is only interested in making a quick buck. Quality and quantity have both declined while prices have gone up. Have been eating here for over a decade and I can tell the difference. No wonder it’s so empty on a Saturday night…

I just remembered why I signed up for Unilocal a while back, it was to write a review for this place but I forgot to… Fast forward 3 and a half years later I remember. And will make this review! First of all, I did the ayce and can understand that’s why my sushi looks like crap but it also tasted like crap because I remember it was 18 – 20 bucks per person for that. And they charged me extra few bucks for not eating the 3 fishy sashimi they gave me cause I couldn’t take it anymore… Too much rice in the rolls… And special rolls are few bucks extra. Left full by extremely disappointed but the quality of ayce vs the regular …

So me and my guy went here to see if the AUCE was good. It was not. We have been to way better. First, the special rolls will cost extra. Second, the rolls they make are a little half*ss Third, don’t get the spicy tuna. Trust me. Plus we had like 4 people serve us. This made tipping a little difficult. One of the guys got mad saying we share tips and it wasn’t enough to cover all of them. ??? Really? Can’t see going back. I will stick to the place we found with 3 beers, sake, or wine and 2 hours of unlimited amounts of food.(their special rolls are included)

Very disappointing: had a late work night and came in at 10:30, after learning kitchen stayed open until 11:30p. Upon entering, she told us this. Ok. Then she came back immediately, saying we only have 40 minutes. Ok.(We weren’t THAT hungry…). Then at 11:05p we were asked about last call everything, and handed the check. We were rushed the ENTIRETIME– the food was completely dismal, so luckily we didn’t want more in the first place. I’m seriously disappointed, as years ago this was one of my favorite places. We would have gone elsewhere has we known– it was a FRIDAY night!!! Now there is an extra charge for most items. The rice is overcooked and pasty. The eel was too sweet. The fish was tough and stringy. We were completely put off, and won’t be returning.

This is a great all you can eat sushi place. I like seating at the bar. It gives me a chance to see the sushi chef and feels more authentic than seating at a table in the back of the restaurant. For a little more than $ 20, its a good deal for sushi. Unlike some other places, you don’t get appetizers or dessert. The sushi pieces are not very big and don’t come with a lot of rice(this is a good thing). This allows you to try all the options until you find the pieces you like. I like the eel, tuna, salmon and fish roe best. They do charge extra for some rolls and sushi and expensive things like uni are not included with all you can eat. For the price you pay its a good bargain if you eat a lot. I would go back again.

I’m not a big rice lover and I prefer eating Sashimi. If you are the same as me, I recommend you to get Sushi regular combo and Sashimi Deluxe(share with 2 people). It is cheaper than ordering 2x all you can eat but you will satisfy with the quantity(but not quality).

ALLYOUCANEAT, AYCE, SUSHISUSHI. $ 23 That’s pretty much all you need to know. #Deets: Many options sushi, rolls, hand rolls. My fave are the spicy tuna and eel as well as the imitation crab salad(its legit) There are premium roll options, mostly $ 1 extra per roll, with extra premium spider roll for $ 4 FYI: Try not to order too much, the rules on the menu state you will have to pay $ 1 for extra rolls ordered and not finished, though they are pretty lenient. Just be a decent human being and order what you think you can eat. Quality? Pretty decent, for AYCE can’t expect the best, but by far from the worst sushi. The variety and quantity are what you are paying for. OVERALL: go to for ACYE sushi if that’s what you’re in to…

It’s an all-you-can-eat-sushi joint people! That alone deserves 5 stars! …or not! It’s a-ok sushi, not the very best, not even very good, just«ok». I tried some of the veggie options and they were good too! However, take it easy and don’t order too many at once. Not only you’re charged for leftovers, you’ll find out, they cramp so much rice in them rolls. I’d start with some handrolls since they’re quite filling, and then add on the regular rolls.

I came to this sushi restaurant with a certain expectation. we tried AYCE and they were only ok… the selection was very limited and the fish wasn’t really fresh. the rolls lacked flavors. it was the kind of place that you are glad you tried it but don’t want to come back. if they want customers to come back they should try harder with their food.

We tried multiple types of sushi rolls. The rolls with mayo — had too much mayo. The fish(tuna and salmon) were a bit fishy, perhaps not fresh. The shumai wasn’t very good. This restaurant has very high ratings on seamless and fair ratings on Unilocal. It’s pretty darn disgusting which leads me to believe the ratings are being fabricated. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere different.

I’ve been here on a couple occasions, and the quality is inconsistent. The first time, the sushi wasn’t bad, but the second time, the sushi was subpar. There an ayce deal for $ 21.95 with an included gratuity of 15%. The is limited menu for the ayce though with an additional charge for more variety. There is also so much rice packed into the sushi and the rolls that I felt like I ate several cups of rice at the end of my meal. The fish also was not very fresh, and I couldn’t bear to eat much. The worst part was the service. The waitstaff told my party that we would be charged an extra $ 1 for lemon each time we asked for more. We had twice for lemon, which I don’t think to be extreme. But such a comment by the waitstaff left a sour taste in my mouth. I was disappointed at the experience and certainly won’t be back. If you want to get sushi, go for one that gives you high quality sushi.

I was really skeptical at first when my friend suggested AYCE sushi. In general, I don’t really like buffets or AYCE because the food isn’t as fresh and I feel uncomfortably bloated afterwards. I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed the AYCE at Yuka. This is definitely not a high caliber sushi restaurant, but for AYCE, the fish was surprisingly fresh. Some of the rolls and nigiri cost a few dollars extra. Just stay away from those and you’ll be getting a pretty good deal. My favorites were the eel roll/nigiri, shiitake mushroom roll, and squid hand roll with soya bean. The pieces are somewhat small, but that way you can order more variety. As with any buffets or AYCE, they will charge if you leave unnecessary food on the plate, which is good to encourage people not to waste food. We left a few pieces of rice on our plates, which seemed to be okay. Without ordering any of the ones that cost extra, per person it’s $ 23. They don’t accept tip but replaced it with a 15% management fee instead. Including tip and tax, you’d be paying ~ $ 28.50. The restaurant is small but not very crowded. This place would be good for small to mid-size groups.

It has been a long time since I have returned and I am glad that I did. I used to eat here at least once a week from the age of 17(I am 41 now!) This used to be hands down the best sushi restaurant in NYC. The AYCE deal is good, but they have really trimmed down the selection and are charging extra for most things that other AYCE places do not– such as the salmon roe. I would rather pay more upfront. Other items were not on the list with a surcharge such as the uni. They still charge a mandatory 15% surcharge instead of a gratuity, but I did not see the signs that said that tipping was discouraged and there was a tip jar at the sushi bar. The fish is still the freshest of all sushi bars I go to and they still do a good job of making sushi! They have the best spicy tuna of any I have eaten. YuKa– if you are reading this please raise your prices on AYCE and expand the selection available.

Nach einigem Suchen habe ich dieses japanische Restaurant in New York gefunden, dass auch All you can eat anbietet. Ort: Das Restaurant läßt sich realtiv gut per Metro erreichen. Man muss 2 Blocks zu Fuß gehen. Alles kein Problem. Das All you can eat ist auch sehr gut.
