Very very good cortado. A little tight inside and ordering is a little haphazard, but worth it.

Awesome guys, delicious coffee. Went to this place with a friend and honestly wanted to enjoy the latte art as well as a delicious drink. Both expectations were met. The baristas are the nicest people you could ever meet, very sociable and will tailor the drink to your liking.

I love an espresso place where the default is a real demitasse and saucer instead of a paper cup. And it’s not just pretense, the espresso is damn good — a perfect pick-me-up. The space is tight, and it reminds me of espresso bars in Italy, where you drink at a counter. It’s busy, but they are effiicient — the barista is quick and precise… you might even get your order before you’ve paid!

I went there with a friend for a nice espresso macchiato and a croissant. They also have panini and a good variety of Italian soda, fresh pressed juices and such. Ideal for a small coffee break

I must say good coffee, and service. It feels like when you are in italy. Typical italian coffee and standing coffee bar. A little pricey but thats what you have to pay for good coffee…

HUGEFAN of their lattes. One of my favorite’s ever. I always get my coffee really quickly and no one is rude. I like my lattes sweet and creamy but I don’t even have to put sugar in Zibetto’s because of how smooth it is.

This cute little coffee bar is as genuine as it gets in New York City. The baristas all seem to be fresh from Italy with their cute little accents and they all make really quality drinks. Whenever I come here, I am reminded of the coffee bars I visited in Italy. They also have really good finger sandwiches and pastries. Four stars instead of five because the prices are bit high.

It’s a quick place for great espresso. There are no seats but plenty of standing room. My boss is also a fan. We both get our daily fix. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Love Rita –she’s fantastic!!!

Great espresso bar for an occasional treat! It’s too expensive for me to buy on a regular basis. The lattes are to die for, but on the small side. They have a selection of pastries. The mini cannolis are delicious, but very expensive for their tiny size. They only serve espresso drinks; they don’t have drip coffee. If you are looking for a «regular coffee» go for the americano. It cannot be overstated how small this place is. Honestly, the space from where the bar ends to the opposite wall(i.e., where the customers stand) is about a yard wide. They have mirrors on the walls to make it seem larger, but sometimes it can be difficult to get in or out depending on how many people are there. I’ve only ever gotten coffee to go, but, technically, they do have some standing room.

Good espresso/coffee but a tiny hole in the wall. no room for anything. very european style, stand at the bar, sip your coffee, and go. for more ppl on the go, nowhere to sit to relax. if there’s more than 5 ppl in there, you’ll practically be bum to bum. haha. but they have coffee and snacks/pastries to go with it. gets the job done!

Even though we were corrected on our pronunciation of «maraccino» — and I’m sure the barista corrects people all the time — I can’t say anything negative about this espresso. It’s powerful, smooth, and quick. It’s most common for people to drink their espresso in-house — Italian style! — but she was gracious enough to put ours in to-go cups. The menu is simple, but it’s just what you need. The maraccino is a great option with subtle sweetness(cocoa powder).

Not all espresso bars are created equal. Zibetto rules. I go for the macchiato — purist. Their roast is sublime. Smooth, rich, flavorful — divine! I compared this to many other espresso bars in the city during our recent visit and would go out of the way to find a nearby Zibetto now.

3.5 stars: 1) Coffee here is amazing. One of the best cappuccino that I’ve had in the city. Extremely silk and rich. Thumb up. 2) Little expensive given the quantity. $ 4.50 for cappuccino(note that there is only one size for a cup of coffee, which is comparable to a ‘petite’ size at other places). As small as you can finish it while wandering from 6th to 5th avenue. 3) Pastries are good. Nothing to be disappointed, nothing to rave about. 4) $ 10 panini? No way… It’s just few slices of mozzarella cheese with tomato and prosciutto. A bit disappointing lunch menu. Very tiny yet cozy place. No chairs(FYI to tourists). Standing espresso bar. It’s good to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning as this place is not that crowded(surprisingly even though it’s located on the 6th ave, only few blocks away from Central Park). I guess this place is so tiny that people can easily overlook and pass by.

A college friend and I were passing through the neighborhood, catching up on our post-college lives, when we decided that we needed a respite from the heat. We ducked into Zibetto to grab some caffeinated beverages and get out of the sun for a bit. Our beverages were pretty unremarkable — tea for her, and a San Pellegrino for me – but my friend did also get a cannoli, which she basically inhaled. The(really cute!) barista was just preparing to close up within the half hour, so not only did we get our beverages, but he also gave us free croissants that hadn’t been sold that day! So sweet of him.

Apparently a Classic Italian experience. Kind of intimidating because you walk in, stand in line, grab your coffee, pay then drink in a sort of assembly line fashion. Everyone’s nice and friendly though. Cappuccino is one of the lightest I’ve had. The milk is glossy and shines under the light. The foam, my favorite part, has substance and melts in your mouth with extra flavor. I was convinced to stay because«it’s better.» And I have to agree. Pause your day for four whole minutes and enjoy the satisfaction of just drinking coffee! It’s a stand up coffee bar sort of place with men in suits and occasional Italian sprinkled around the store. Didn’t take long to finish since it’s normal European coffee size and so delicious. Also, like others mentioned. The caffeine kicks. Whew! I usually have two cups per day but this kept me going. Rush of caffeine is so satisfying :)

Gratzi!!! The coffee.wait.correction. The espresso here is melt you teeth strong. I had some this morning and I am still full of energy typing away Unilocal reviews like nobody’s business. Obviously having issues focusing at the task at hand. Back to Zibetto, I came into this tiny spot this morning and I loved it. It has that European feel. The room is long and slim with no table or chairs just high counters that allow patrons to stand and have a latte and enjoy some nibbles. This is very traditional in European cafes. I was also mesmerized by the Italian treats that were offered from cannolis to cornetto(a ricotta filled pastry) along with almond cookies and hazelnut sandwich cookies. I also spotted a variety of sandwiches including a fave, tomato mozzarella. A great spot to grab a morning or afternoon pick me up before heading into Central Park!

Love this place! Great coffee, great salami sandwiches, and friendly staff. It’s a small coffee bar, not a seating place, but it’s a nice place to stop by and drink/grab a cup of coffee.

It’s as if this place teleported from Italy directly into Midtown. You walk in, and they greet you in Italian. The place smells wonderfully like freshly ground beans. You order your espresso or machiatto or latte and you stand there, drinking it. Have some biscotti or a cannoli. Coffee is super strong here. I can normally tolerate two or three double espressos but here a double espresso is felt until the next day. Instead, I’ve learned to sip a single espresso slowly until I feel the adequate jolt I need to be productive. Pros: — Feels like you’re in Italy. Very cozy, homey, friendly. They don’t even ask you to pay for your espresso until you leave. — The coffee here is freshly ground and made to order. Delicious and strong. — Not expensive at all(3.50 for a double espresso, for example) Cons: — Can get crowded since it’s a long narrow space especially after lunchtime — If you’re a regular drip coffee drinker(wait, why are you even here then?), they don’t have that

Was being told that this place was very easy to be overlooked hence I paid extra attention so as to locate it right away. It was as good as it can get for a casual afternoon coffee to unwind a full week of work afterall. Room was thin, just like the shape of country Chile, yet it was very cosy with people either standing in front of the counter enjoying their drink or waiting for it to come. My latte was smooth and tasty, liked it a lot. My friend got the cappuccino and it was good as well. Also this place was very close to central park, so grabbing a cup and taking a short walk would be quite decent.

This is a tiny place tucked between two much larger establishments. Long and narrow room from the doorway, I almost walked right by the place. New to the Italian names of the drinks, the barista helpfully described the marocchino(like cappuccino with cocoa powder on top). I got the marocchino there and a latte to go(it was going to be a long day). The marocchino as promised by the barista was an amazing shot of espresso flavor, strong and bold. The latte I took with me, it was smooth and delicious, with the coffee aroma just wafting from the cup. I also got the apricot cocina and it was one of the best pastries I’ve ever had. Crispy on the outside and soft and flaky on the inside. The apricot filling was just right in sweetness. Usually I toast my croissants because I like crispy, but this croissant needed no toasting to be wonderful. The barista mentioned they get supplied freshly made pastries several times a day, ensuring they are always fresh. I’m a big fan. I do wish I could bring a batch back to the west coast with me.
