Love their brazillian pastries and their burgers are deliciouss and super huge! Deff try their soup, everyday they have a different one. On weekends they are 24hrs, so a great stop after a few beers and your hungover lol munchies.

Place has gone downhill since management changed. Overpriced for really bad food. Save your money and go to one of the other places similar to this in the Ironbound. You San find 2 right down the street. Staff is rude and always gets your order wrong. Awful!

Casa do Pão de Queijo(House of the Cheese-Infused Bread) is my go-to place for salgados(Brazilian snacks). My go-to items are the Coxinha and Pão de Queijo. Coxinha looks like a deep-fried pear, but it’s filled with shredded chicken! Pão de Queijo is small cheese-infused pieces of bread. Cheap and absolutely tasty!

This used to be on of the best place for brazilian sandwichs and salgados, have visit this place today, and the food was horrible, the salgados were old, the sandwich very poor in quality and taste, not even close to what it used to be before! DONTWASTEYOURMINEYANDTIMEATTHISPLACE! You will sure leave hungry or disappointed.

nothing fancy here, this is the type of food one finds at gas stations or bus depots in Brazil. pretty good pão de queijo(cheesebread). tasty brigadeiro. they have panquecas, espetinhos, omeletes, salgados like empanadas and coxinhas on the menu. they make fresh orange and sugat cane juice, and they have suco de caju and maracuja(cashew and passionfruit juices). open 24 hrs on fridays and saturdays. reasonable prices. I communicated with the lady behind the counter in portuguese, everyone in here seemed to be Brazilian, two tv sets with Brazilian TV

Not sure about the other food in this place but the Pao De Queijo at this place is the best I’ve tasted and that includes the one I tried at New York Pao De Queijo Restaurant in Astoria although theres has much larger portion sizes. Although the portions here were smaller they were definetly tastier. Simply the best pao de queijo I’ve had in the local NYC metro area. I didn’t try the salgados but from what I could see in the display looked just as good. Definetly a must if you want to eat some authentic Brazilian pao de queijo and Brazilian pastries.

This used to be one of the best places to go to in Newark for salgados(Brazilian pastries). They offer a huge selection of salgados(anything from pao de queijo to pasteis to kibes to sfirras). However, lately it’s been a hit or miss. Either its freshly made and tasty or its old and reheated. Service is OK– sometimes they’re fast, sometimes they take forever. I would recommend going to Altas Horas or Hamburgao instead.

Based on a single visit, this is our new stop for pasteis, Brazilian pastries filled with minced meats, cheese, and so forth. I ordered a Churrasco Especial and here’s what six bucks buys you: a fresh roll, a skirt steak, proscuitto, mozarella, bacon, a fried egg, corn, tomato, lettuce, mayonnaisse, fried potato sticks(!) People, this was *a sandwich*.! It’s not the cleanest joint, and the service is uneven, but the food is really good and cheap. Easily four stars.
