Randomly searching Unilocal for a new barber since moving to Newark and I ran into this spot; nice décor, great chill/​family friendly atmosphere. All the barbers are on point but I made my way to Cesar after viewing his art on Unilocal.Well 30 mins later I was looking so fresh, oh yea and it was a Sunday! I’m here now for my second cut, this experience is even better than the first!

Excellent place! Amazing service, cool barbers and everybody treat you like family. I have been a regular of this barbershop for the last 2 years, I got the recommendation from a friend and I have never regret about stepped in. These guys have saved me in a lot of occasions when I needed to have a haircut and shaving, they’re always a phone call away!

Hands down — the best barbershop in the area.
Super clean, tastefully decorated and home to an excellent line up of talented barbers. Good luck finding a shop with comparable service in Essex County. Plus, the hot towel massage and shave is THE BEST for those of us with scruff — so be sure to ask for that!
All this for a very reasonable price? Absolutely possible at Cesar’s. Try it out and, I promise, you won’t be disappointed.

Gentlemen, this is the place to come for a great cut and shave that gets you look in as sexy as that face is ever going to look. If you’re looking to get a fresh cut I recommend stopping by getting a cut & shave… they even keep those eyebrows on point for when you need to stand out and look smashing for the weekend.
Cesar is very friendly and will certainly make sure you’re happy with whatever cut you’re looking for. Cuts are often quick and get you moving on your day so you don’t get held up in the barber shop all day. They keep everything tight and clean, a lively place to hang out at for a little bit if you gotta wait for a barber, but even with a walk-​in, I’ve never had any issue getting in a chair with in 10 minutes. Make your way over to Cesar’s wherever you’re feeling a little shaggy and he’ll gladly keep you clean and cut for any occasion!

It’s great to be able to get a fresh cut with hood prices without having to venture too far into the hood. It’s not that I don’t like the hood; it’s just that I’m too lazy to drive my butt the extra 10 minutes.
Shape up, a bit of a beard trim and even the eye brows done well and for cheap. He was also very efficient. I was in and out of there in no time.
He was also excellent with the straight blade. There was absolutely no soreness throughout nor after, nor did he leave any cuts. He also fixed my beard line. I usually have trouble with a particular section for some reason.
The interior is very clean. Comfy seats line the waiting area. Thankfully, I was able to walk straight onto a barber chair.
Highly recommended. I wish I had found this place earlier. Should be my new regular spot.

My usual place jacked up their prices so I was forced to look elsewhere. Winged it and walked into this barbershop and with a $ 15 price tag on an excellent haircut, with attention to detail, I’ll be going back. Clean, modern barbershop with chill vibe, good music, funny and friendly people… Can’t ask for more.

Longtime friend and barber Cesar went on his own with his own shop and his customers couldn’t be happier for him.
New state of the art shop with 5 booths, ample seating, and brightly lit space makes you feel like you’re in a shampoo commercial.
