I heard about the salon through friends and am so happy I was able to see for myself why people love the shop and love Hanh!
First thing to note is that the shop is newly remodeled and is very clean. The nail salon services are not visible through the storefront window and it lends to the layout feeling very cozy and comfortable, not cramped or crowded feeling.
My aunt and I were acknowledged right away as we entered. After a short wait at the bench seating in the front we walked past the hair styling chairs to see very new spa chairs. What was noticeably nice about the pedicure chairs that I have not seen at other places was the armrest side tables with cup holders that you can put up or down and the disposable tub liner they use. I also love that they have a detailed menu clearly listing what is included in each pedicure service and the price point.
The best thing I discovered has got to be the natural (read no known carcinogens) gel-​strength manicure that requires no Harmful UV light. Another plus is no harsh chemical smells. The SNS nail system they use is supposed to help strengthen and grow natural nails and last longer than regular gel manicures. I’m excited to see how long it lasts and if it does impact the condition of my nails for the better. Annie did a super clean job. I also had the challenge of a broken nail that she repaired with a fake nail to match the length of my natural nails at no extra cost!
Both Hanh and Annie were so friendly. Hanh even shared some sliced watermelon with us on what was a hot afternoon, yum! I will definitely be back and will probably call to make an appointment. As I’m also gearing up for a half marathon think I’ll try their high end massage pedicure. I imagine the popularity of this place will only grow with such great staff and amazing natural services!

This salon is awesome. A few months ago, I called to make an appointment for a haircut and it didn’t disappoint me. Hahn, owner and hairdresser is wonderful. I recommended a friend and my mom and both are satisfied. Annie is great — she did my nails and I loved it — friendly atmosphere– I felt like I was part of a family. Hahn will be forever be my hairdresser :-)

This salon is the best! Hanh does an excellent job cutting hair. I get my hair cut and my 3 boys as well. Hanh is very polite and never does a rush job. She always take her time. The salon is very clean and has lots of parking outside.

Okay ladies and gents I found a place that is clean, and they treat you decently on top of good services. They use products that do not have stinky bad for you chemicals. They offer all beauty services, nails, hair, waxing, it is a one-​stop pace for all your needs. I will definitely be back.

This is a great salon with wonderful service. I get my nails done by Annie. I get the powdered manicure because it doesn’t ruin my nails. It makes them stronger and the polish lasts at least 2 weeks. The service is friendly and my entire family comes here. Han cuts my husband and sons hair. She does a fantastic job too. You won’t be disappointed if you come here. The pedi’s are great too.

Excellent service. Hahn is the best. She even comes in early before business hours to accomodate me. Great place. My wife and I only go here for our hair needs. And lately my wife has been getting her nails done there too!

My husband mentioned to me that his favorite stylist opened up her new salon. Needless to say, he wanted to bring our children to get their haircuts. There is when I finally got to meet Hahn about 8 years laters, that’s how long my husband has known her and to my surprise I found out she also offers manicures, pedicures, waxing and facials. I was very pleased with my daughter’s and son’s haircuts. She is friendly and very professional.
So, one day I decided to get a manicure & pedicure and was very happy with the results. The salon is super clean along with the comfortable massage /​clean pedicure chairs, plays good music, uses natural nail products and provides good customer service.

This salon is excellent! They do hair, nails, waxing, you name it! It is really a one stop shop. I called ahead and booked an appointment (though you don’t need to) on a Saturday a few weeks ago and got a manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow wax. The woman (Annie) who did my nails really took her time and made my nails look perfect! I am very particular about the design and shape of my nails, and she did excellent work. She was very patient as I changed my mind on colors and explained my vision for each nail. I also thoroughly enjoyed the long leg massage (which a lot of places speed through!). She also showed me a menu of the products that they use, because I kept mentioning how nice everything smelled and felt on my skin. I don’t remember the name of the product, but their entire line is VERY nice quality and organic. You can purchase any of the products they use in the salon before you leave.
The eyebrow waxing was also done very well. It was quick and painless and the shape was exactly what I asked for. I am always hesitant when trying a new place for eyebrow waxing since it impacts your face! Again, she did a great job and put on a nice cooling lotion/​gel afterward that smelled like a tropical vacation.
It was a great experience all around and the owner Hanh is super sweet! I will definitely be making this my new go to!

I’m so glad Hanh has her own salon now! I have been getting my locks lopped off for some time now with Hanh, and I always get tons of compliments. She is so nice and very good at cutting hair. I have recommended her to some of my friends, and everyone loves their cuts and her prices. She is so affordable compared to these other salons that don’t even cut hair as well! Her salon is very clean, and cleanliness is super important to me. Also, she listens to what you want and makes recommendations that are spot on. She seems to have hair intuition! She is really good about not over-​cutting, which is often a problem with many stylists. If you try out Hanh, you will come back, I guarantee it. How could you not with a beautiful cut at $ 15. At that price, you afford to pamper yourself with a pedicure in one of her fabulously clean, buttery-​soft leather, brand new massage chairs.

This place is wonderful. The owner of this place is such a wonderful individual and she does great work. She cuts your hair exactly to how you want it done.
I have known the owner for a while now and she actually talked me into getting my first pedicure. Yes. My first one. (I don’t know why I haven’t gotten these before.) Her prices are affordable and the work done is done with quality.
The facility is very clean and professional looking making sure that all customers are safe from any kind of bacteria. This is a great small business for a great area.

Hahn has been cutting mine, husband’s and kids hair for over 2 years. I am very particular about my hair and Hahn is always awesome. Can’t wait to try the mani-​pedi.

Hahn is awesome. She has been cutting my hair for the last 7 or 8 years. Her salon is out of this world. She does a great job at cutting hair and she has a wonderful personality. Always has a smile on her face. Go visit her. You won’t be sorry.

I had a great experience here. I was looking for another place, but couldn’t find it. I saw this salon and decided to ask if they did pedicures. They did and took me in right away. Everything is super clean and sanitary. They use plastic linings in their spa beds and completely sanitize after each pedicure even though the tub was lined. Very clean!!! They also use all natural products. I highly recommend this salon. The people who work there are very friendly and professional. Go go go… They deserve your business

Style Studio Salon is a clean, comfortable, and relaxing salon comprised of professionals who has been cutting hair for years. Style Studio Salon just recently opened up in central Newark but I have been getting my hair cut by the manager, Hahn, for years. I first met Hahn several years ago at another salon. Generally, I get a zero on the sides and a two or three on top with a fade in between. After trying out several different people, I found that Hahn was very good at cutting men’s hair as well as doing fades. I would like to think that she has sharpened her skills with lining up the front of men’s hair due to continuously practicing on my hair as well.
Style Studio Salon is located in central Newark, near the corner of Thornton Avenue and Cedar Boulevard. It is located in the same shopping center as Home Depot but is found around the corner at the second to last business (next to the Fish N’ Chips business). My only complaint about this plus, thus far, is that some homeless people tend to congregate to the rear of the Home Depot but I have never had a problem with them and the local police depart seems to keep them on a tight leash so really its a non-​issue.
Style Studio Salon is warm and cleanly place. There is a nice waiting area with comfortable bench seats and I have always found coffee and condiments ready for the helping. Beyond the barber chairs, you will find several pedicure stations which, yes, I have tired and have found to be very clean as well. I have actually gotten several pedicures here and have never experienced any issues, i.e., infections or other issues that I have heard about from other shops. I have been to the doctor several times in the past for in-​grown toe nails but the doctor have never done even half as good of a job as Style Studio Salon has done in remedying this painful issue. If you have ever had an in-​grown toe nail, you know it can be painful. You wouldn’t think a salon would be an appropriate place you would go to correct that issue but Style Studio Salon has been amazing in that aspect.
If you are from Newark, you know there are several choices out there. There’s Rayzor Sharp, George’s, Supercuts, and various others. To me, what sets Style Studio Salon apart from the others is that it is one stop shop. Whether you are looking to get your wife’s hair cut, yours, your children’s, or getting another service done, Style Studio Salon is the place to go. When you go there, ask for Hahn. She’ll treat you right and will do an excellent job at giving you the haircut you want.

I discovered this salon recently and I love it. It’s so hard to find a good salon and stylist at a reasonable price these days. Hanh is wonderful. She is friendly, professional, caring, and — most of all — terrific at cutting and styling hair. She remembers my preferred style from visit to visit and she is very responsive to any requests I make. When she is cutting my hair, I never feel rushed. She is efficient with time, so I’m in-​and-​out as quickly as I need to be. And after she cuts my hair, I always look and feel great!

Hanh has awesome customer service. My kids love her and so do my wife and I. I get my fade here and I want to try the facial next time. She is affordable but the big winner to us is the respect factor. You will be the first to cut my 5 month old daughters hair soon. Keep using those products not tested on animals. We appreciate that also. Try her out. They know what they are doing.

Awesome customer service! Went in for just a regular pedicure and left an awesome pedicure. They use great products that make your feet/​legs feel great! I also had a hair cut and my eye brows waxed. I love that I have a spot where I can get everything done. Next time I’ll be trying out there facial services :)

This is a new salon in Newark, just opened by my stylist, Hahn. Hahn really cares about her customers and knows how to style hair for your own look. The new salon also offers pedicures and other beauty treatments. She uses Paul Mitchell and Nu Skin products, which do not test on animals. Giver her a try! Prices are very reasonable and $ 3 off any service until the end of December.
