I plan my trips into town to visit family around a meal at Cabana Café. It is THAT good! For lunch, I enjoy the Grand Cayman sandwich (Turkey w/​Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Guacamole & Alfalfa Sprouts w/​Garlic Mayonnaise) and usually get it with a side salad (with the BEST blue cheese dressing!) Try the pimento cheese (served as a sandwich at lunch or an appetizer at dinner time). It is very good! The Boyce Street steak (served at dinner time) is top notch! The service has always been very good. Visit Newberry and Cabana Café!

Cabana is a very interesting place. We started in the downstairs bar. It had lots of atmosphere and a pretty good beer selection. Although no draft beers! The food in the restaurant was very good with very large portions. The Boyce st steak was excellent and the shrimp and grits had an interesting twist with bacon! I’d definitely go back to cabanas…

I’ve eaten here three times. Once for lunch and twice for dinner. Great Good! Excellent Service! When I was eating lunch, they gave me a dinner menu to look over. I told my waitress that I would have a hard time deciding between the ribeye and the shrimps & grits. So, that evening, I ordered the steak and they also gave me a bowl of the shrimps & grits to sample. I must say the steak was good, but the shrimp & grits were awesome. I highly recommend this location. I travel for work, and now I plan to end my day in Newberry just to eat here.

We were on a road trip back home and wanted to try something good and worthy of a little drive. Cabanna Café was awesome! We had a Baja sandwich and a Santa Domingo sandwich which we split together and loved every bite! The chips and pickle on the side were a nice addition. We also had a bowl of chili that tasted really good. The place had a nice warm atmosphere with friendly staff. I would go back 100%!

Although a visitor to Newberry, I have eaten at several restaurants. This one was good with a lovely atmosphere and generous portions. The food is very rich: cheese and butter are ample. But I asked for some items without; the kitchen was accommodating. My shrimp were perfectly sauteed and tasty. Salad has bacon and cheese… good but I can do without. House wine by the glass is perfectly fine but they offer many choices by the bottle. Service is friendly and professional. I would return here to try the beef and other seafood selections.

Atmosphere is great
My first item ordered was grits and shrimp but it arrived as cheese and cheese. Don’t order as there is 10lbs of cheese on the plate. I removed more than a ½ lb of cheese to enjoy the entrée. I will try another selection soon.
