Defined Entertainment Design

From start to finish of any home entertainment project, I would use Defined Entertainment. They’ve packed my equipment for a move, set it up in a new house, and been there to support everything from TV to sound systems to complex internet networking issues. Can’t say enough great things about Mark and his team: Vastly, knowledgable, honest, great follow up, and with the patience and integrity to figure out what needs to be done, and find the most efficient way to do it. They do what they say they’re going to do, and they are there for you years down the road when you need something — truly amazing customer service!

After many phone calls to TV installers, I decided on Defined Entertainment Design.
Why? Mark listened to my needs and finalized an hourly rate for me. I was told all the work
(involving 3 different TVs) would be done in one hour. I am so very pleased with this company. The technician came in on time and had the work down in one hour has promised.
The technician knew more than my AT&T tech. He had my new TVS working in no time. Not being a tech genius, I had many questions about my new TV, Wi-​Fi and HD. This technician was patient and so polite. From the top down with this company, everyone is pleasant, the price is fair and the work is professional.

I found Defined Entertainment Design on Unilocal,liked what I read, and had a brief telephone contact with Peter which assured me quickly that in my non-​techie vocabulary, I was able to communicate clearly with a real technologically-​minded person who understood exactly what I sought in moving A/​V equipment from our old house to new condo. Before Peter’s scheduled visit to both the old and new sites, I had a couple of conversations with his partner Mark, and made at least two changes in my basic plan, which I was sure would doom our working relationship before it had started. No problem, they took it all in stride. During our visits, Peter took photos and made notes that later guided Jeremy and his colleague in taking out the equipment from our old place and installing it, together with new equipment, in our new condo. Not only did they work together in a skilled, efficient manner, but they fully cooperated with our ISP provider who was working in the condo at the same time. That coordination of effort was specifically arranged by Peter!
I love the TV sourced through Defined Entertainment and the installation of that TV and my old TV. All systems work perfectly!
No question I will recommend these professionals and will gladly use them again!

We were referred to Defined Entertainment Design by Pacific Sales in Chatsworth. They did a great job fixing the many issues encumbering our entertainment system. The price was reasonable, the crew was polite and reliable, and everything was explained and put in writing BEFORE the work started. There were no surprises and Mark & Peter were always available when we had questions. We highly recommend this company.

These guys really know their stuff! We have a fairly complicated home theater entertainment system and had been through three different «expert» companies who never got it to work correctly. Alas, Pete Fein and his guys were able to make EVERYTHING work and make us a happy family. I highly recommend them!

These guys are great. Peter, Jeremy and Mark are all very professional and personable. They designed and installed my big screen wall mount tv system and indoor and outdoor stereo system. My tv and sound bar look great. and sounds fantastic. They even helped me with a computer problem I was having. I am very happy with the job they did and highly recommend them for any job small or large. They
used some of my existing equipment where possible. They don’t try to sell you something you don’t need. They match your desires with the best possible solution.

About Eight years ago, I started to plan a small home theater. In researching the brand of projector I was interested in, I found Defined Entertainment Design and
Peter and his partner Mark. From the beginning I felt that they not only knew what they were doing but used that knowledge to give me the best possible system that my budget would allow. I have since replaced that projector,
upgraded equipment several times and the experience
has always been positive. They are also experts in extracting the best possible picture and sound from your system. They have always been very quick to respond to any question and I have found their service in general to be outstanding. A recent example was a projector bulb failure, which they ordered/​had Fedexed from the manufacturer and installed in 24 hours. WOW! that’s
service.
Before I found Defined Entertainment Design, I made the rounds to several «home theater stores» in my area and was never satisfied with the contact. I always felt that getting the sale was the most important thing and not finding out what my true needs were and how to fulfill them. Five stars +.
