Love this place! Staff is very polite and helpful. No matter what we choose, the pizzas always turn out very tasty… and a bit healthier than the traditional pizza joints. MOD, along with Pieology are our go-to pizza places.

Awesome experience once again!!! Christian was my pizza expert and definitely had a unique flair to making the pizza as well as the salad. He was super friendly and professional and suggested exactly what I was thinking but wasn’t sure about. Lol. It seems like he has been doing this forever. I am always treated like a family friend when I come to this location and I know I will be taken care of. The check in deal right now is unbeatable. A freshly made, as crazy as you want it salad or pizza and you get an extra one for FREE. YES. FREE. whoot. Everyone likes free right ?! Keep up the awesome work as usual. Oh and I heard they are hiring. So get those apps in :)

Was making a trip to Home Depot and was excited to see something new where Baka fresh used to be. We have tried a few of the new personal size pizza places lately and haven’t been excited. But we really liked MOD. Thin crust but super tasty and not overcooked. Yummy toppings and super good lemonade! Friendly staff too. Will be back.

Oh heck yes! I love the smaller, «personal’ sized pizza. What I really love? You can get whole roasted cloves of garlic on your pizza. YUM.

Ok Mod pizza i’m a big fan… I have been twice in the last couple of weeks with my kids and we loved the experience. Let me preface the 5 stars as follows; Mod isn’t the rarefied pizza air of Pizzeria Mozza, Custom Pie or Pizzeria Bianca in Phoenix but it’s a great assembly line version with fresh ingredients the way you want it in a fast casual setting for around $ 8. Now that’s why… Mod is better than it’s main competitors in the assembly line pizza competition Pieology, Pizza Rev, Flame and Open Oven Pizzeria. Think Subway when I say assembly line. Because you pick the ingredients sauce, cheese, meat and veggies as you move down the line until it goes in the oven and you hit the register. Mod is great at what it is and what it does best. Which is really good, really fresh, really fast and really inexpensive pizza that tastes great! It’s a fast casual setting. The restaurant is clean, bright and welcoming, also very easy to navigate and fun for kids of all ages to have it there way :-) Service is young energetic, accommodating and eager but not refined. The selection of ingredients is superb especially for the price. Mind you no shrimp, salmon, duck, veal or lamb. But a great selection of sauces white, red, pesto and BBQ among others and about(8) different meat/sausage proteins to choose from. The cheeses are ample with about(7) varieties including fresh ricotta, asiago and goat. The veggie selection is standard fare but the nice touch is the selection of finishing sauces and glazes to top your pizza as it comes out of the oven, Sriracha ranch, balsamic fig gorgonzola, garlic olive oil and chipotle to name a few. The line moves quickly as the pizza cooks in about 5 minutes. As with any assembly line restaurants people who can’t make up there mind or a decision if there life depended on it create a log jam, along with the requisite clueless brain dead people with an IQ of room temperature, those taking selfies and updating facebook and twitter not to mention those just talking or texting in lieu of ordering lol They also have salads and bottomless drinks(non alcoholic) sorry all the lushes out there. I understand that they also have gluten free options and get this, When I checked in on Unilocal it was a BOGO offer buy one get one for free. That’s two of these bad boys for $ 8 bucks. I assume it’s an introductory offer as Mod tries to penetrate the crowded pizza marketplace but that’s a deal of deals not to be missed. All things considered Mod is the clear winner in my book for the assembly line pizza market and a great pizza option to choose from period. Enjoy and your welcome :-)

The gluten free pizza is amazing! Tastes just like the real thing. Always cooked to perfection with just the right amount of toppings. My favorite is ham, pineapple, onion, and spicy sausage on garlic, red sauce and mozzarella cheese. Tonight was especially good! Walter, Jessie and Christian were super nice and attentive. Their Cinnamon Toast Crunch shake creation was delicious! Definitely will come back again. Perfect as a late night meal as they close an hour later during the summer.

This pizza is fantastic! I get gluten free pizza for my girlfriends celiac disease, and they were happy to oblige. Brandon was a huge help and was very friendly. Like I said, the pizza was fantastic and cooked to perfection! 10 out of 10

Fast and tasty, I’ve come here often on my lunch break and everything is great, they even have gluten free crust available. Only thing I wish is that they had cheaper side salads with option of not being on top pizza crust.

MOD contacted me after my 1st negative review and offered me a gift card to compensate for burnt pizza. I found this gesture a good sign that the business is trying to improve and retain its customers. So I went there twice more. I have to say that both times the crust was not as burnt as it was before but was still blackened to the point I could taste the charcoals. I uploaded some pics from my 2 visits to demonstrate. This business can have a huge potential if only the product was right. Bumping to 2 stars since the crust is less burnt.

I like MOD Pizza better than its better-known competitor, Pizza Rev. Same basic idea, create your own custom pie, two different sizes, variety of sauces, meats, veggies. Beer and salas, and dessert pies, too. First, they have more toppings — roasted garlic, roasted cauliflower, roasted red peppers, to name a few. Second, the crust is better… slightly thicker, and the edges don’t burn like PR’s. Worth driving past the Camarillo Outlet Pizza Rev to come here.

This is an excellent MOD location. Loved the service here, plenty of seating and the best selection of any create your own pizza place! Not only can you chose from any toppings or sauces you want, they also offer different pizza and salad sizes as well, I usually go with a regular pizza and small salad which is still plenty since you can add all the toppings you like in it as well. Great quality, fair prices, clean and modern space. I hope they continue to do well, we enjoy coming here every time!

No doubt the best pizza in town. There are quite a few in NP but the ability to make your own, take it home, and finish it off while its still bubbling hot is a HUGE treat on a friday. Everything is made on the fly here based on what you want but they do have a suggestions menu that has the most typical and popular varieties. if you want to add something, no problem, throw it on, its in the oven to box to tummy. Order to belly is quick!

I went in shortly after they opened today, so service was good — the guys who helped us were nice and accommodating. I wanted to go to MOD because I just found out they carried non-dairy cheese, and was excited to try it. But I ended up being bummed because they have no non-dairy sauce option! Except. BBQ sauce or garlic rub(which is literally olive oil + garlic rubbed around the crust). But that’s not the fault of this particular MOD. it’s just the company’s options. I think the concept of this place is great — all the toppings you want at one flat rate. The prices aren’t bad, either. I got the 11 inch(the medium, or «mod» I think it was called) and couldn’t finish it — it was under $ 8. I got a ton of veggies on my pizza and it was pretty good(I went back and asked for a cup of BBQ sauce for dipping just because the actual pizza was reeeeeally dry with no real sauce). The main problem, and why I’m not sure I would go back, is the actual pizza crust. Again, this is not a problem with this particular MOD pizza, just of the chain recipe/policies in general. It’s super thin — when they set it out to start my order I was like, «That’s it?» It looks like a flour tortilla and is about as thin. So if you don’t like thin and crispy. you probably won’t like this pizza. If I do go again, I’m going to try the largest size because it’s «double layered» or something which I think means the crust is thicker. so hopefully not as thin and crispy after baking.
