Scott did an amazing job on our floors. He is truly an artist and quite possibly the best contractor I’ve ever hired. I met with three other businesses before choosing Scott. I am thankful I decided to go with him. The floors are just perfect and absolutely gorgeous! I went back and forth when choosing a stain. Throughout the process Scott was patient and extremely helpful. He knows the colors well and was able to give me suggestions on what would go with our existing cabinetry and the look we were going for. His rate was reasonable and my house no longer looks like a throw back to the 80’s. He is a perfectionist and extremely skilled at what he does. Scott, thank you for your wonderful work!

We just had the pleasure of working with Scott when he refinished and stained nearly 600 sq.ft. of oak hardwood flooring. He was very knowledgeable hard working, professional and completed the project in just three days. UPDATE: Scott returned to do some additional work 6 months later since we had a new dishwasher installed. It exposed a small area of the floor in need of some refinishing. After reading previous reviews here on Unilocal and having another contractor come ot my house, and tell me everything he couldn’t do, and then did not even follow up with a quote I gave Scott a call, and am glad I did.
Scott came out, looked at my original wood floor, told me he could refinish it (previous guy said it was too thin to refinish), also said he could repair a water damaged secion by my fridge (again previous guy said couldn’t be done). Also had one room with existing laminate flooring that the previous owner must have put in, and Scott quoted to replace and recommended lamainate as it was a high use area and we have 3 very active dogs, he found laminate that is very similar to my exisiting oak flooring.
Scott quoted in a timely manner, we set up a date for installation, and refinishing and am very happy with the work performed and Scott is great in communication, and the work is does is top notch, it’s obvious he is very passionate about what he does and shows in his work and communication

Hi had the pleasure of talking with Scott Avery yesterday. I can’t begin to explain how grateful for him, his time, advice, and extensive research. We had a seller who’s housekeeper put the wrong cleaner on her gorgeous hardwood floor. Scott, not even knowing if this was even going to pan out to anything, dropped all he was doing and did all he could to find resolve to our situation. Which was very stressful for our seller — she loved her floors so much and was distraught because nothing was seeming to fix or budge the cleaner /​polish that was put on the floor.
