Stedman Old Farm Nurseries

I walked over last week in hopes of picking up some potted cooking herbs (I love having places like this in walking distance.) I didn’t find any herbs but I saw that they were having a great season’s end 50% off sale on roses and berry bushes.
I also met the awesome shop cat, who was chillin’ on the counter. If he knew where they kept the herbs, he wasn’t talking… even after a few scratches behind the ear.
A helpful employee informed me they were done selling cooking herbs for the year but gave me a lot of great tips on where I can find some.
I look forward to shopping here in the future even if they didn’t have what I needed today. Prices in general are reasonable, and they have a big selection of lawn décor like stepping stones and wind chimes, flowers, trees and other plants.
