Cheney Property Management

This is by far the WORST company I have ever encountered. They lure people in with a kitchen that looks big, and a basement storage unit, and by ALLOWing you to PAY $ 50 per month to have a member of your family live with you (if you have a dog…$ 25/​mo per cat) but soon after moving in you will discover that the kitchen cabinets are actually so shallow that some standard/​large size housewares won’t fit in them with the door shut!
The maintenance staff also REEKS of cigarettes and DOES NOT listen when coming to look at things that need repaired. For example, our dishwasher has not worked since we moved in, it has been almost a year and it is still not fixed, the kitchen faucet leaked and it took THREE calls to get someone up to fix that. When the dryer vents clogged we used a sock to have a place for it to exhaust because it took them OVER A WEEK to unclog the outside vent line and what they did STILL didn’t work! They complain about residents who don’t clean up after their dogs by posting a notice on EVERYONE’s door THREATENING that EVERYONE will have to pay-​WTF?!?-
The ONLY trash dumpster is across two parking lots and it and the ONE recylce bin (for THREE buildings mind you) is constantly overflowing and creates a nasty overflow of trash in the woods, parking lot, and it blows all over when it’s windy (OFTEN!) People leave their trash in the foyer and it STINKS! And perhaps worst of all, when you call down to the office or go in for anything, they act like YOU are an INCONVENIENCE to them! DO NOT fall for the act they put on to get you to move in! You do NOT want to live here! We wil lbe SO HAPPY to get OUT of here soon! PLEASE DO NOT RENT HERE! You will be much happier elsewhere! …Forgot to include that they REFUSE to give receipts when you pay the rent and were so rude about it when I asked, but then, they are RUDE about everything so at this point it’s no big surprise!
Since posting our review on apt ratings YESTERDAY, another site, we received harassing emails to our HOME email address about the review FROM CHENEY, telling us to go look at their «response»…which babbles on about buying a car and has NOTHING to do with the actual issues at this place… further proof that this place is unprofessional & immature and NOT someplace anyone will enjoy living!
I cannot believe they had the audacity to misuse our email address this way, obtained through our rental application! There’s got to be some sort of law!?!
