Crappy sandwich crappy service won’t be coming back. I would give it zero stars if I could. The owner who works there was so rude to me. Don’t know how she runs it like that

Food was really good and generous portions, but I think they may have been understaffed. Two cute ladies were running the place, but they seemed a little stressed. I was waiting about 5 – 10 minutes for 2 prepared side salads when the cashier told my my tuna melt was on its way. I told her what I actually ordered and she quickly went to the back to correct the order. The actual interior of the café is small and uniquely decorated, and seems to attract an older crowd, which is probably why their prices appear a little higher than your standard café. Overall, good place to try for a quick lunch!

I came to this place after finding it on Unilocal and I wasn’t disappointed at all. If you’re looking for something light and organic this is the place, it will not be the place for someone who doesn’t love a healthy lifestyle. I must say their chicken and tuna salad were exquisite and very light. The lady at the counter was a doll and very welcoming. I’m glad I came here after my physical therapy. I will come back again because the salad are yummy! And the lady is sweet and nice!

I love Zuzu & Coco! I have to get their egg salad sandwich which is so yummy. I’ve introduced my office to their catering and today I got rave reviews from the attendees from a lunch meeting The meeting planner wanted something upscale and for an afternoon snack for around 8 people. Z & C’s fruit and cheese platter is beautifully presented with nuts, fruit, assorted cheeses, crispy crackers and garnish. Catherine, you made me look good at my job!

I just tried this café for the first time today and it is fantastic! I am on a strict way of eating right now and they were soooo nice and accommodating with my order. I tried their tuna salad and added bacon, kale and spinach to it… I will definitely order this again! It was delicious and fresh!

Came here for a work lunch today and was very pleased with the food and service. A lady actually dropped off a menu at the office the day before so its nice that this place is walking distance from where I work. I had the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich which was really good. Its really similar to a chicken salad sandwich but I think its more flavorful. The sandwich was stuffed with chicken and it also has a salad on the side. Everything tasted great! I’ll probably try their paninis next time around!

Today I had missed an appointment and was starving. So I came on Unilocal and found Café Zuzu and Coco! && I am so glad I did! It’s an adorable little café that serves some breakfast items(bagels n such) and lunch items. Not a huge menu but everything sounded great. I ended up doing a salad plate; I chose the quinoa and their chicken salad. YUM! The quinoa had corn and edamame in it with a light garlic oil type dressing. The chicken salad was awesome with little bits of celery and red grapes in it. The chicken alone was delicious, but the sweetness of the grapes made it phenomenal. The décor was simple but cute. And the lady working was a doll. Super sweet and very personable with all her guests. Despite having to reschedule my appointment, I’m glad I missed it; otherwise I would have never found this place! Keep up the good work ladies :) I’ll definitely be coming back to try this tuna melt I keep reading about!

I used to work around this area and come here for lunch. Very chic and breezy. They make the best tuna melt I’ve ever had! I might drive there just to get it again sometime. Love the varied salads and fresh items on the menu. Service has always been friendly and attentive.

This is such a great spot for a fresh, casual lunch. The ladies that work and own this place were so attentive. The salads were so delicious, it was a «feel good» type of meal. Try the Kale Smoothie with almond milk, that hit the spot for me! :)

Came here with coworkers for lunch on two separate occasions during lunch. Parking was difficult b/c it’s right on PCH and the lot is small. Food was delicious with plenty of hot and cold options. I’ve tried quiche and several cold/salad options. All tasted great/fresh/flavorful. I would definitely come back and recommend to friends. Similar to Moulin on Bristol, but maybe slightly more options.

Our new favorite spot for lunch! The owners are just delightful and welcoming and the décor is trendy yet homey total cafè style. I had the seasonal salad: Kale and Brussel sprout kind of slaw with flavorful cranberries and huge black berries it comes with a poppy seed dressing and it was fresh and delicious I also got their cucumbers that are thinly sliced and drizzled with olive oil a bit of citrus on it and garnished with dill. The chicken salad sandwich is also quite famous and I have heard tall tales from people I work with! Parking can be tricky but it is a GREAT spot to get your car washed and run across the street for lunch ! See you at Zuzu& Coco!

The first time I found this café this younger girl made me an amazing coffee and I was thoroughly impressed. The last two times it’s been an older woman and she’s made it terribly. I’m went back the third time hoping maybe the 2nd was just a fluke and I even told her she scalded my milk the last time and she still did it. I also asked for whipped cream and she put so much on that I couldn’t close the lid until I ate some of it. I wanted it to mix with the coffee. Very unimpressed with their coffee now. Two fails and I’m just coming back for the salads now. I’d be happy to come in and show her how to steam milk without burning it if she’d like.

Absolutely LOVE this little jem! I actually found it by accident one day while driving to work. I love that it’s walking distance from my building. They make a perfectly balanced vanilla latte and their bagels are super fresh. I usually call ahead when I’m getting off the freeway and she has my order(everything bagel, toasted well done –extra cream cheese) ready to go when I arrive. I love coming here for lunch too! It’s a small, quiet café with four tables, comfy cushioned seating on one side and chairs on the other, and french café music playing in the background; perfect for a quiet little lunch for one. I often see people studying here or reading books while drinking their lattes. It’s been gloomy and rainy lately so I’ve been obsessed with their tomato soup special with a side of grilled cheese — the ultimate comfort combo. Their caprese salad is amazing too and they have a spinach salad with goat cheese, candied walnuts and honey dressing that is to die for! They also make yummy green shakes with fresh spinach & fruit. Must try!

I got the chicken salad sandwich which had grapes in it. This was a decent sandwich and I appreciated the sweetness from the grapes. They have other small side salad items that you can get as well– I think my boss also noticed that one of the sides was actually a pre-mix from Costco… BUSTED! The café itself seems like a cool place to eat for lunch. I do remember that we ended up going here(I work down the street) in a rush but things were painstakingly slow that day– all for mostly cold sandwiches. I don’t get it… probably won’t be frequenting this place too much.

Found this place on Unilocal when searching for a new lunch spot. The café’s decorations are sooo cute! I also love salads & sandwiches so I decided to give it a try. The menu options are pretty limited. I wanted a panini but when I saw them behind the counter, I changed my mind because they looked so plain and blah :(.so instead, I got a ham sandwich which came with avocado and sounded fancier than the panini. When my sandwich came out, I have to say I was disappointed. I’m definitely not in the kitchen a lot and I could’ve made a better sandwich! It looked so homemade in a bad way and blahhhhh. I paid $ 9.10 for the sandwich and a small side salad. My friend got a double salad combo. It was basically two scoops of salad with 2 slices of bread for like $ 10. There didn’t seem to be a lunch rush at all, since there was only 1 person in line before us even though it was prime lunch time. Overall, I wasn’t very happy with the food and don’t think I would return. However, the ladies who work there were very friendly!

This is a cute little place, very rustic chic. It is also nice that they have healthy options: lots of salad, green smoothies, and wheat quinoa. The menu is very limited, but what they do have all looks really appetizing. The tuna salad is delicious; they don’t use a lot of mayo, which is great because mayo is just an unhealthy filler for tuna salad and doesn’t really add anything to the taste. Despite that though, the tuna wasn’t dry and had great texture and wasn’t clumpy. The pricing is really confusing though, and the owner admitted it herself that many people are confused by the pricing. Given the confusion of so many people, I am surprised they do not update the menu. She explained that there is a «Pick 1−2−3» option where you can mix and match your salads for once price. It appeared to be some sort of special, kind of how most places do for a set lunch vs a la carte. This is untrue. There is no special. There is different pricing depending on the salad and you just pay for whatever«scoops» of salad you chose to get… which essentially is like a la carte pricing. At least, this is what I THINK how the pricing works. To be frank, I am still confused as I write this now. The owner really didn’t do a great job of explaining how it works. She also mispronounced quinoa, which is a bit of a pet peeve of mine. I feel like you should know how to pronounce what you are selling. Am I right? The price was okay, I think a little pricey for the small portions, and probably not appealing enough for me to come again. Besides that, it’s just too much trying to understand the menu.

FYI, This place used to be Café 505. Love the new décor, looks very cute and modern. The staff is very friendly and helpful in explaining what they have to offer. The menu is a little more limited. Theres a few sandwiches, paninis, and salads to choose from. But it does seem like they change up the salads from time to time. I had the tuna salad and the kale salad. The tuna salad was delicious. Great flavor without being drenched in mayo. Very light mayo actually. No giant chunks of anything, everything was very well diced, which I like. The kale salad was just ok to me. I thought they said there was a blue cheese dressing, but it was so light, I couldnt tell you that it was blue cheese at all. There was kale, cabbage, bacon, sunflower seeds, onions, and eggs. I think that was everything, but there could be more. I think a more flavorful dressing would have made me like this one more. So for the 2 salads and a bag of chips, my bill was about 9 bucks. Not too bad at all. I will be coming back to see how this business progresses and when Im craving tuna salad!
