Circle K

I find the clerk (a guy in drag with boobs) at night prejudice and rude. He is selective with customers. Nothing special about this place, more expensive than 7 11.

This place was great for convenience. Right across the street from the place we were staying at. Of course all types of these stores are a little pricey but I thought they had a great selection.

This Circle K must have changed ownership. Gone is the cool, yet inexpensive, Beach section that took up the front, right corner of the store, which was once filled with everything from towels, sunbathing mats, sarongs, flip flops, sunglasses, sand toys, and more.
I was disappointed to learn that they also no longer carried magazines. On occasion, I would come here to buy a magazine or two to read, when I just wanted to lay out and soak in the sun’s benefits at the neighboring beach.
A big wire rack system, used to display their chip selection, held generic brands I’ve never heard of and had several empty spots on its shelves. I reached for the last remaining bag of Doritos Ranch, a special request of my nephew’s, which was hidden way behind a crowd of Cheetos wannabes.
The person at the register showed little enthusiasm. He stared into space, neglecting to notice that the customer in front of me forgot to take his change from the coin dispenser. I politely called after him to make him aware.
I don’t only have negative comments about this Circle K though. They DO have a wide selection of beverages and they are plenty, as almost the entire back and left walls are packed high with them. That may be the only thing I will be coming here for in the future though.

I walk here almost every morning for coffee. I like the selection of coffee and the prices. 1.76 for a large 24oz coffee and I don’t have to deal with any lines or saying my coffee size in italian.
The staff had always been pretty cool and helpful and if you want anything besides coffee there is a wide selection of goods in there. Its only one dollar extra for an 18 pack of bud light instead of 12er, they have reminded me of that more then once.

If you live in the «warzone» area of the Newport peninsula you’ll find Circle K to be your «grocery store» many times throughout the year. Ok, they don’t have real food but they sure do have most everything else you may need… Chips, Beach needs, Alcohol, snacks, fruit, aspirin, lotto tix… you know, it’s Circle K!
The staff here is nice enough to keep me coming back.

Circle K is a standard convenience store and this particular location is no different. It has a wide assortment of snacks and other small items. Chips, candy, hot dogs, sandwiches, fruit, frozen foods, magazines, toiletries, cigarettes, etc. When I lived on 37^th, this place came in handy since it was open ²⁴⁄₇. Craving some sour candy? Circle K. Out of water? Circle K. Need toothpaste? Circle K. You get the point.
The cashiers are really nice considering the crap they probably go through (read: rowdy college kids and Newport bros at 3:00 AM). This store has reasonable prices relative to other convenience stores. Again, this place is pretty typical of the chain.
Also, this place is an excellent Plan B when the line at the bagel shop is too long.

I’ve been going here for over two decades. It’s convenient and well-​stocked with a variety of basics!

Your standard circle K. A blessing for those that live near it on the peninsula and are in college. Last minute essentials and great prices on big 44oz and plus drinks from the fountain. I also have bought booze here plenty of times last minute, only a few dollars more than what you would pay at a grocery story for alcohol. ATM is not to bad either and they have a great selection of Sex wax for a last minute board wax, cigarrettes, and energy drink. I can’t complain about the sweets island either, though I don’t buy anything from it has everything for the sweet tooth.

Normal average convenient store. I usually come here to grab a quick drink or pack of cigs. Very convenient during the night prawls of newport or when living near the area.
