Nice little place to grab a quick drink or smoothie bowl. The employees were really friendly and got the drinks out quick.

This place is such a gem on Balboa Island! Every time I’ve gotten an acai bowl, the presentation is so lovely and tastes so fresh! The employees are all so sweet too! Which really makes it an awesome place to spend your time :)

This place is awesome! I have been to a bunch of juice bars all over Orange County and Juice Crafters is by far the best one. The acai bowls are amazing and my favorite juice, the number 12, is the best on a hot day! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. Also, the staff is soooooo friendly and really great at making recommendations to new comers.

Love this juice spot! Prices are a little high but that’s expected for juice. I normally get cold pressed juices, but the current smoothie of the month Acai Pie is really good! The Acai bowls are also awesome. Great staff too, friendly and remember your previous orders.

We came here after an afternoon of paddle boarding and was super excited to get something refreshing and the interior seemed really nautical and welcoming! The store was not crowded at all and there was about 4 girls working. I’m generally super nice to servers, waiters… etc. because I know how hard it is to work in customer service, but these girls were R U D E. I ordered a smoothie, but I asked the girl if it was possible to NOT have banana blended in & she asked me WHY and give me such an attitude. I’m not sure who the manager is, but reading the reviews below — no one has had a pleasant experience being here. Not to mention the BRAZILIANACAIBOWL& the SMOOTHIE that I got were subpar. I would definetly suggest just heading up to Fashion Island and going to Pressed Juicery, where you will receive 100% better service & better food.

Visiting the island for the weekend, I was excited to find a healthy juice joint and was quickly disapointed. This morning I stopped in and the individual that was working seemed to be annoyed to help me. I ordered the acai bowl and asked her to add almond butter and blend it with the acai. When I went to eat it there was just a dolop of almond butter in the center of the bowl. It was also really soupy … the meal replacement smoothies are wonderful and about the only thing I would recommend on the menu…

I came here because I used to work on the island and only got half an hour for lunch so the options for semi healthy food I had were fairly limited. I ordered an available bowl and explicitly asked for no bananas and they still put bananas in my bowl. Also, the service was very slow since the employees were busy chatting amongst themselves. It took about 20 min for the bowl to be made, even though I was the only customer in the store. The bowl itself was watery and subpar to any acai bowl I’ve ever had. Also, the portion is fairly small for the price that they charge.

We have been there several times ingredients seem really quality my wife loves the Pacific love. I like the crunchy monkey smoothie. We also had the açai bowl which I thought was really good. When we go to other smoothie places it taste like you’re eating a bunch of ice cream but not this place it feels really healthy. It is on the pricier side.

During a hot summer weekend in Balboa my friend and I needed something refreshing to consume. Originally, we were going to get some fresh squeezed juice or smoothie. We decided to order the acai brazilian bowl. Juice Crafters offers gluten free granola for those who desire it. The ingredients are super fresh, colorful, and rich in vitamins. Besides the delicious acai bowl that I consumed, the workers were so pleasant and politely focused on the customer at the front of the line. Even the older rude man had to patiently await his turn. The décor is super cute too!

Ordered an acai bowl and sat waiting for about 20 minutes while the store was empty. The two girls working were just standing by the front talking while we sat waiting for our bowl. We thought that maybe there was someone in the back working on it, but after 20 minutes finally asked about it and they said sorry and had forgotten about our order. They saw us sitting and waiting and were just standing talking and on their phones so I’m not sure how they didn’t know we had ordered something! It was ridiculous and very over priced! The bowl was decent, but nothing special compared to other ones.

My favorite go to juice joint in Newport Beach. Much better than Nektar & the staff is always friendly & helpful. Their acai bowls are delicious as are all the smoothies I’ve tried. I get their cold pressed juices in the case to stock up at home!

I love this place! Its my(almost) daily go to. So glad they opened a juice bar on the island, as I live & work here it’s a nice alternative to coffee not to mention healthier. Very darling setup. The baristas are always incredibly sweet and welcoming. They always remember my drink without me having to order. Way more efficient than banzai bowl. Great smoothies, juices, shots & açaí bowls. Happy hour 3−5pm! Must check it out.

If you want to do a cleanse you can’t just go in and get it, you have to order it a day before and go pick it up. I went in at noon and they only had 3 types of juices even left and said«we’ve been real busy this weekend sorry, you could try nekter» Smh.

One of the newer shops on the island. Offers a good variety of juices smoothies and juice cleanse plans. Went in today for an acai bowl and got mine with the new addition of added spinach and kale. The lady taking my order seemed stressed and was running around on the phone. Eventually got my acai bowl — which by the way was 10.70!!! The bowl is nothing special, some smoothie with fruit and granola on top. Unfortunately the kale didn’t really blend in and I had big chunks of kale in my bowl. If I’m paying almost 11 $ for blended fruit it should be amazing

I went to Balboa on a really hot day so this place is perfect for getting a nice refreshing drink. I got their current special which was So Kale Yes which has pinapple, kale, coconut water, and oranges. It was so delicious. It had the perfect tangy and sweet balance with just a hint of the kale flavor. One 16 oz. is like 7 dollars though so I think it’s a bit pricey since the juice place near my house is only 4 dollars and it’s just as good.

This place is very convenient and good for a refreshing snack while relaxing on Balboa Island. The cashier was very helpful in explaining and describing the items they offer. I ended up getting a juice, green force #3(there’s a green, greener, and greenest juice & this is the greeenest)($ 6.95). It is cold pressed juice, made fresh daily in LA and delivered to this location in Newport Beach because this location doesn’t have enough space to manufacture & make the juice. I also got the brazilian acai bowl($ 10), which is made fresh to order. I love their juices! The acai bowl was good, but these are steep prices. I really liked their acai bowl with greens! It may be my new favorite!

Another month. Another acai bowl. For three months running I’ve visited SoCal. The purpose of my visits isn’t to taste test acai bowls but it’s been an enjoyable by-product. Two months ago I sampled my first, made by Jujubar(Costa Mesa). Last month I tried Banzai Bowls(Costa Mesa). And now, having sampled Juice Crafters version I finally feel qualified to answer the question of who makes the best acai bowl in the OC. Before the big reveal(can you handle the suspense??) I’ll say that all three are extremely worthy contenders. My sampling has led me to conclude that acai bowls aren’t all that different from one another and all are basically good: fresh fruit, icy crushed acai berries, granola, and perhaps a bit of juice or soy milk or honey. Priced at around $ 9 no matter where you get one, I consider an acai bowl a satisfying and virtuous choice for lunch. Since there’s little variation in acai bowls and all the ones I’ve had have been good, I feel compelled to anoint Juice Crafters as my favorite. Not for the acai bowl alone but for the overall ambience of the place. It’s a well-designed immaculate little storefront on Balboa Island’s main drag and it smells heavenly inside. Spain has a chain of juice bars with a similar feel and smell that screams«fresh fruit»; this place reminds me of that. There’s not much room inside but there is a small area to sit while you wait and I imagine you could eat or drink from that spot as well. But mostly you’ll get your acai bowl — or cold pressed juices — to go. If you go for the acai bowl be certain to enjoy it nearby(perhaps from the water-facing bench at the end of Marine Avenue?) as they’re best eaten while the acai is still icy cold. The version here is served in a wide plastic bowl and includes a perfect combination of fresh bananas and fresh strawberries. They had some other type of «bowl» creation but the nice counter person told me she always prefers the acai bowl. You probably will as well.
