So, so, so good. Love the Turtle Power smoothie… tastes like a special treat, but healthy too. Super friendly staff and I love that they always support local artists. This will be my go-​to place from now on!

Best acaí I’ve had in Newport! 5 stars for their bowls and 5 stars for their ambience. The staff there are always so friendly and laid back, you can’t help but leave with a smile on your face. It’s only about 5 mins away from the beach so I’d recommend dropping by and grabbing some fresh squeezed juice, a smoothie or an acaí bowl before you head over. PS you can ask them to serve your acai blend in a coconut.

Porrovita!!! Won’t go anywhere else for so many reasons. Let me list ‘em, just so I can TRY to do it justice.
The staff — so, so friendly. Easy going, and will always check to make sure that you get what you’re ordering. Chase, the owner, has the warmest personality; it’s evident he only hires equally as easy-​going but receptive people.
The atmosphere– BEST ARTWORK. This place gives you the beachy vibe you expect from a juice/​açai bowl place, but has an added balance– it isn’t so dark that you forget you’re in the gorgeous, ever-​golden California… but isn’t so bright that you feel like you’re under a heating lamp. «You can stay or you can go» vibe that pairs nicely with running in to grab a quick smoothie or stay and coffee with a good friend.
The food– Tell the cashier what you’re craving, they’ll perfectly prescribe you the perfect concoction. Smooth, colorful, and always made with fresh ingredients (cuz you can see em in the back.)
Basically– this one of MY FAVORITE PLACES to fruit in all of Newport; for all its local and easy-​goingness, it’s mixed with some serious attention to customer satisfaction and positive atmosphere.
Bonus: it’s right next to Mama D’s!

This place is as good as it gets! You can’t go wrong with anything you order here because it’s all yummy and healthy for you. The acai bowls are to die for, especially with some honey on top. The atmosphere is laid back, surfer vibes and very clean. The staff is all young cool guys for the most part, very friendly and helpful. There needs to be more of these places everywhere!

Best place for juice that I’ve been to in Newport in the 4 months I’ve lived here. I normally go with the NRG — worth nothing they are very cool about substitutions, etc. Always good music playing, nice staff and really high quality juice/​food. Definitely recommend!

Best bowls I’ve had in OC! Every time I try a new place thinking I’ll get something better — I regret my decision to not come to Porro Vita. It’s part of my ritual that I look forward to every weekend. Hulk bowl with chia seeds and hemp protein– delicious, filling and nutritious for a pretty good price. Enjoy!

Best healthy juicer I’ve ever been to, and the price was competitive too!
First off, the ambiance of this place is great. We immediately felt the surf-​beach lifestyle rather than that of a health nut by visiting a juicer. Considering that most places sustain on guilt tripping or instilling fear in the everyday consumer’s diet habits, Porrovita takes the right step in creating the feel-​good-​drink-​shop.
Saturday was a hot day so me and my honey popped in here for a refreshing drink mid-​walk.
This place is an absolute must visit for great smoothies and juice blends. They have a really chill vibe and don’t take too long to get the juice out to you.

I can’t remember the names of the drinks we got but I remember most of the ingredients.
My boyfriend:
Juice with dark chocolate, banana, peanut butter and something else. It was delicious. So, so good.
Me:
I got a smoothie with beets, kale, coconut, pineapple, and some other stuff. It was really good but I found myself even more thirsty after finishing it. Also! Don’t forget that your pee will turn red if you have a ton of beets. I forgot and almost passed out a few hours later from what I saw. All good for the body though I’m sure.
Overall, good spot. It was expensive though so definitely not an every day place.

This is THE place to get an smoothie, green juice or acai bowl. The place is lovely, the guys are awesome and everything is so tasty!!! I love their acai bowls. Usually, every week I get one from a different place, I can tell the best I’ve ever had was there.

We were only visiting NB for a few days, but came here each morning to get our juice cleanse fix to start the day. Wish we could do this every day!

Love the Juice, dig the vibe… Always some decent tunes and eye candy lining the walls… Family run joint so extra bonus to Damn the man and support the little guys!

Stopped by here after lunch to check out what they had to offer. I ordered the Kona Crush Açaí Bowl (Açaí, Pineapple, Banana, Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, Coconut Water, topped with GranolaBanana, Strawberries, Blueberries, Coconut Flake) and my boyfriend ordered the Kale-​i-​Fornia (Kale, Spinach, Apple, Cucumber).
There was only one other customer in the store who already got their order but it took FOREVER to get our order. Then other customers started coming in as well and I overheard people who arrived after us, complaining about the wait too.
When we finally got our orders, I was surprised by the size of the Açaí Bowl, I really wasn’t expecting it to be that large! It was pretty good and there’s honey on the counter for you to drizzle over it too. The Kona Crush was good, but the Kale-​i-​Fornia was earthier than I thought it would be. We thought it would be sweeter since there was apple in it. but guess not.
Not sure I will venture out here again just for their drinks or Açaí Bowls.
