The Women’s Center

In order of importance to me:
— Cordial and professional staff: receptionists, techs, and doctors.
— Minimal wait time for appointment.
— Minimal wait time from arrival to procedure.
— Forms provided in advance for me to complete before my first visit. On subsequent visits, I was asked only to verify the information in their system, not to fill out more forms.
— Ample parking with validation.
— Patient portal with access to records.
No negatives. None. Really.

I had the first appointment of the day, so no wait. I was referred to this facility by my new doctor. I walked in and was greeted by the receptionist who prompted me for my parking ticket, ID, and insurance card. Then she handed me some forms to fill out. I filled the necessary information on the first page and she rudely reminded me to fill out the remaining 4 pages. Oops, it’s 7 am, my brain hadn’t started functioning just yet. But no reason to be so testy so early in the morning!
After I filled out the forms, I was told to go back and wait until they were ready for me. Before that she returned all of my cards and validated parking ticket. The nice thing is they will validate you for the entire day! I was called into the dressing area in a timely manner and from there I had 5-​star service. The nurses and radiology technicians are wonderful. I didn’t meet with the doctor, who reviewed my films, which I thought was strange since, I normally will meet with the doctor, for at least a brief moment. However, I must say that I hope that I won’t be required to come here more often than necessary. I’d recommend that you schedule an early morning appointment and despite any outcome, head over to Sprinkles afterward and treat yourself to a cupcake.

It is quite difficult to schedule in apt for the radiology dept. Phone calls are not returned in a timely manner. When I went to visit the office personally to try to make an apt, I was sent away. The receptionist stated that I need to wait for THEIR phone call! So I did, but nobody called for weeks! When I finally got an apt, I waited in the reception area for over an hour. The doctor and her assistant are great. Just had such a difficult time with making a apt and waiting to be seen that I’m giving this one star. This place is also over packed. Something needs to be done for more efficient scheduling and more friendly, helpful receptionists that cater to patients rather than backing up their coworkers.
