Trees R US

Been informally looking for someone to do some work on a tree in my yard, that I run to the front door and stare at, each time a wind storm comes through. to me, it was just a matter of time before it fell into the house, or onto one of our vehicles. One of those back burner things. But one that there was a little heat on that burner.
Yesterday, I was taken from what I was doing by this tremendous racket outside of my house. When I looked out, there was a fleet of trucks and a army of men, working like ants, carrying pieces of tree out of my neighbors yard.
I guess a Tree Service found me instead.
I spoke with the owner, who was running this massive chipper (nothing that was cut down was saved — it was all chipped [tss…tss] I presume due to the damaged condition of the wood.
I arranged for these guys to come by my house today, to take the tree in my front yard down, or to cut enough of the bad sections out of it, to take the chance of it falling on the house or my vehicles, out of the picture.
It started slow. The owner and three guys. One up the tree, with climbing spikes and ropes, and two on the ground to police up everything that was cut out. The owner supervised.
They made quick work of the tree issue (it was heavily thinned, and the dead branches removed, but the bulk of the tree remains).working quickly, without getting in each others way.
My tree looks great. the worker guys policed up my yard, and piled everything up on the curb, and we awaited the rest of the crew, and the heavy equipment (and a bunch more dudes).
They set up the chipper [tss…tss…]machine, and in a matter of less than 10 minutes, the remains of my tree were gone. With the addition of many more ground workers, the movement took on the flow of ants. Moving quickly, and out of each others way.
The company is insured, for both structural and personal injury. They work quickly, and do not leave a mess behind.
I was pleased with their work, and for the amount of people on site and the amount of heavy equipment on site, I thought that the cost of this tree service today was reasonable.
