Capri Architecture

We started building our ocean front house last Aug. We have just finished the framing, and our house now has a water proof roof!!! Sometime next week, the exterior doors and windows will be put in, and the house will finally be, ‘weathered in!’ It has been so exciting to see the beautiful house that Dustin and Amanda designed, actually take shape! It has been quite an adventure, it has taken longer, and been more difficult than we expected. Dustin and Amanda, have always been there for us. They keep very close track of what is going on, they have made so many on site visits and know step by step what is happening at the building site, and keep us well informed (we live in Seattle and the house is in Depoe Bay). They are in close communication, especially with my general contractor. One time in particular, they had a serious talk with my general contractor, (my own attempts at voicing my frustrations had completely failed), which was extremely helpful in getting things moving at a faster pace. Many times, I have been very impressed watching Dustin talking with various sub contractors. Dustin understands in detail, what their concerns are, and is able to make positive suggestions.
My wife and I are so happy that we chose Capri Architecture. Without their ideas and support, this whole building process would have ended in failure. If we had hired a ‘designer’, instead of an architect, the house would have been ordinary, not a beautiful, custom designed house on a challenging site, and there would have been little of their critical support. This is why Capri Architecture deserves a 5 star rating

Amanda and Dustin are designing a house for us and it has been a wonderful experience. They truly listen to our thoughts and desires and ask great questions to help us think through the details. Their suggestions have been point on and have made the plans better than we imagined. We cannot wait to build and have confidence that they will oversee the project and the details with the same professionalism they have exhibited through the whole design process.
