Only been to the downstairs. Nice place to hang out and do work on the large tables and comfy leather couches. They have cold brew… which is cool. No where else in Bethel has this option for us ice coffee fans.

Great place for after skiing or during the day. Great TV variety and quiet downstairs. Great coffee and good food. Spectacular views of the slopes ! Free Wifi. Friendly staff.

First, let’s talk about the atmosphere. We were skeptical when we walked in, but decided to stay for the $ 2 tacos. Why are there murals of Steven Tyler at 50+ on the walls? The space itself is beautiful — huge windows overlooking the trails at Sunday River. They wouldn’t have had to work hard to make the restaurant inviting; somehow, they instead managed to make it very off putting. The $ 2 tacos were fine. I wouldn’t recommend the fish ones but at that price I didn’t expect much more, nor would complain about them. Our bartender was friendly, but that doesn’t necessarily mean good service. I ordered a beer that she inaccurately described as not sweet. It was a chocolate peanut butter porter that didn’t taste like a porter at all, but instead like I was pouring Hershey syrup down my throat. I’ve had chocolate porters and I’ve even had a peanut butter porter but I have never, until now, come across one I would describe as sweet; and this one was sickeningly so. I didn’t drink the beer and our bartender chose to not acknowledge this until after she had taken our money, telling me that she was«glad I tried it». I’m not, I would have rather spent my money on a beer I could stomach to finish. If you don’t know your product, please just be honest about that. Don’t lead me into wasting my money.

I have been to this place a couple times, usually apres ski, but most recently for the piano brunch on valentine’s day. The food was great, but the piano really made the difference. The ambient music was the perfect setting for the day, but the selections were still great rock classics to hum along to. Hopefully they keep it going with the live music. It’s a good improvement over the last place.

Siracha meatloaf was awesome! Excellent beer selection also. Great, mellow atmosphere, and the live grand piano on a Thursday night added to that significantly! I strongly recommend this place.

I went last Thursday and had some beer and really enjoyed the piano playing. But tonight, Thursday, no piano? What’s a bar with out live music. Also the beers over priced, no happy hr deals and the place looks like the hard rock puked in the place.

This Place Totally Rocks! Had the privilege to be there on opening week and had the experience of a lifetime. Not only is this place one of the coolest restaurants I’ve been to but the service and food were amazing as well. The decoration of this place is a palace of rock and the atmosphere makes you feel like you’re at a concert venue. I had an absolutely exquisite habanero pepper burger that was cooked to perfection, spicy enough yet so full of flavor. In fact, the chef came out to see how it was, which was perfect! Love the loud, great rock music selection and the breathtaking views of the mountains. Simply incredible! This place is just perfect for music lovers, lovers of great food, and those having fun in the mountains.

I had dinner at the Rockin Roastin on Saturday night. The atmosphere was great. You can see Joey Kramers drums and gold albums on the walls. They have a beautiful view of the slopes and fireworks. Great beer and wine selection. The food was just as amazing, I had the surf and turf and the steak tips were tender and juicy and the scallops were done to perfection. I stated off with pig wings, that were fall off the bone scrumptious. SOGOODSOGOODSOGOOD My husband had the chicken parm, it was the best he’d ever had, a huge portion. For dessert we split the red velvet cheese cake which was incredible.

I got a hot chocolate. It was gross. It took 20 min to get it. It was made out of mix. Try coffee hound. They use real chocolate

I went with my boyfriend after a great day of skiing. The service was good but the proportions were way too small! We got a salad and sandwich the salad was miniscule and the sandwich came with about 10 fries! I paid $ 30 and it was not worth it. At all.

I don’t want to judge this place too harshly as we visited a week after it opened, but they certainly have plenty of room for improvement. I’ll start with the positives first. The dining room is very cool, featuring large windows and some very unique décor, the café downstairs is a great place to grab a beer after a day of skiing, the couches make for a perfect place to relax. The draft beer selection was solid, not the best, but definitely enough good options to appease just about anyone. The food was good, I don’t think anyone was blown away by what they ordered, but no one complained either, I had the lamb burger and found it to be enjoyable. Now the negatives, we waited an hour for a table, which during peak time is not a big issue, however, what was an issue is that once we were seated, our server seemed to vanish. The dining room manager was very apologetic and once we did get a server she did a great job. It also seemed as though the wait may have been extended by Joey Kramer’s party taking our table, which is also understandable as the restaurant features his name. I won’t be back to Maine for at least a year, but I’d imagine we would try this place again when we return. I hope that they are able to rectify the issues associated with the first few weeks of being open.

This restaurant is where the old Phoenix House used to be. That place wasn’t great, but the Rockin and Roastin Café beat the odds and is even worse. We ordered apps to try the place out before going for a full on meal there. The chicken fingers were fake and gummy, clearly the lowest quality frozen chicken available. Think long McNuggets, but lacking any of the nostalgic pull or tasty sauces that help you choke down what is otherwise obviously unfit for human consumption. The calamari was soggy and off-putting, and an absolutely minuscule portion for the price. It is a rare dish that is somehow unsatisfying both in quantity of food and quality of preparation, but they nailed it here. The pig wings had a lot of potential, but were completely ruined by a «sriracha ketchup» that was literally just a ton of ketchup with a little bit of sriracha(evidenced only by spiciness– I couldn’t taste the sriracha sauce at all). Who the heck wants their pork completely doused in ketchup? I’m not talking a little ketchup glaze, it was like someone ladled a cup of ketchup onto it. I’m usually one who puts too much ketchup on things, and still I found it overwhelming and gross. We ate upstairs, so I can’t say how the downstairs café was. It did seem like a weird use of space, though, as the downstairs was almost completely empty and the upstairs was packed when we arrived.

The café menu in the downstairs restaurant for breakfast and lunch is not very kid friendly. Only salads and fancy sandwiches. My kids had no interest in the place and it made it difficult for us to stay. I would’ve liked to have tried the different menu items but had to adhere to the children’s needs. So my advice is to have a kids menu as well, all Parents will be thanking you.

Food was good, and they were able to accommodate some special interests. But some details were a bit off. Despite many empty tables it took them a long time to seat us. And even longer to take our order. And they served the appetizers with the meal rather than before. But our meals were all tasty.
