I’m a repeat customer at Anna Nieman Couture, this time visiting her new shop in Newton Highlands. It’s a beautiful shop, and Anna was as pleasant as before. I purchased a pretty off-​the-​rack dress for the Holidays in a Moroccan blue – and I’m very happy with the purchase !

I moved to Texas and acclimated to the weather. However, I still have a home and family and friends in Wellesley and attend weddings and all sorts of events. Anna Neiman has helped me pick out gorgeous dresses, I always go there. Most recently I found a ballerina length sleeveless flowing gown which cinched in my waist, just by the design! I told Anna I was concerned about this and she found the perfect dress, next I explianed I was worried about being chilly. She found a sheer navy blue matching shawl and showed me how to wrap it around and tie in a bow in back — so i didn’t have to constantly adjust! Many compliments!

The woman is a mind reader. She came up with a sketch that was EXACTLY what I wanted. I am so excited to go through the process with her. I know my dress will be amazing

I made an appointment with Anna after seeing the Ingrid gown in her collection online, which was extremely close to what I was looking for. I wanted to figure out a way to incorporate some lace or embroidery if possible, though. Anna suggested a custom embroidery around the waistline, which sounded good to me, and the resulting gown was amazing. Perfect for what I wanted, and I looked great. Anna was professional and easy to work with; she even gave me the extra fabric from the dress and ordered some additional embroidery for me so that I could make custom gloves to match. The price is high, of course, but not at all out of the ordinary for a custom couture gown of that quality. Thanks, Anna!
