Kitchen Tune-Up Newton

We had been looking to update our kitchen for a while. After searching online for our renovation needs, we found Kitchen Tune-​Up of Newton. We contacted the company and scheduled a consultation appointment.
Jane and Allen were absolutely wonderful to deal with — professional, courteous and explained everything in detail. They listened to all of our needs and helped us make our dream kitchen come true. From new doors and drawers to cabinet refacing and a new countertop, we are absolutely thrilled with the results! They were so helpful in guiding us through the entire process of the renovation.
Their installers/​crew were a pleasure to deal with and do exceptional workmanship.
They arrived on time as scheduled and always cleaned up the worksite area before they left every day.

We first used Kitchen Tune-​Up, Newton, MA in 2008 for a redo of our kitchen counter top and cabinets. Last summer, we used them again for a new counter top for a rental property.
If I sat here all day, I would still be unable to find a single bad thing to say about Jane and Allen, and their Kitchen Tune-​Up business.
The owners are former button-​up, corporate types who left their careers to pursue their passion for home renovation. They’re both detail-​oriented, professional, pleasant, very bright individuals, who are a pleasure to deal with.
Our experience with them on both jobs was the same: they assessed our needs, sold us on exactly what we needed and requested, patiently answered all of our questions, followed up on every email and voice mail, and ultimately delivered quality work, on schedule.
Oh … almost forgot to mention this …
A few months after our first job, a tile installer scraped one of the new cabinet doors. When Allen came by to assess the damage, he ended up performing some cosmetic sleight of hand, rendering the damage all but invisible. Even today, six years later, you have to look closely to find any evidence of the scrape. He did not charge us for this work.
We could not have been happier with Kitchen Tune-​Up, and would not hesitate to use them again, or recommend them to anyone.

The owners, Jane & Allan are terrific. Very knowledgeable and helpful. They were patient and never did I feel pressure when dealing with them. Their workers did a great job — very professional and kept to the schedule we were told. Would recommend them 100%.
