Very nice to meet Rosa and good clothes! My wife became amazed! Prices it’s not to low but the store has a plenty of famous brands!

Still my go-to for consigning the things I never wore and finding clothes I wear all the time.

Went in again today and the woman started speaking to my mother and me in Spanish(terrible Spanish grammar, at that) to try and tell us the clothing was not yet tagged. Didn’t even try speaking to us in English. I’m sorry, I forgot that the only ethnicity to have slightly darker hair and skin is the Latino/Hispanic ethnicity. I didn’t speak to you in German because you’re blonde and light-skinned…

It’s fun to shop at Second Appearance because it’s like a treasure hunt. I always find something to spruce up my work wardrobe. It’s easier to shop here than in a department store because it’s like shopping with a friend — I always get an honest opinion on how I look in something. I like unique stuff, but if I really like something but think it’s overpriced the store clerk has worked with me.

Nice people poor selection. Everything looks really shabby just thrown on a shelf and really worn. Tired and outdated mom wear. NOTHING on trend or vintage at least that I saw. Lots of mall brand clothes which you could find at the actual store on sale for cheaper. Nothing special, but it does have a vast array of larger women’s sizes. I had high hopes considering the newton address, but it wasn’t worth the time. Maybe it’s an off time, but I most likely will not be back. Also overheard the shop keeper on the phone highly unorganized and seemed to have no clue about which consignment items have or have not sold of an inquiring consigner. That left a bad taste in my mouth I doubt I would want to leave anything of mine there. So dissappointed.

Tiny and neat shop. Though I don’t agree with their prices.

GREAT high-end consignment shop. I got a sweet Franco Sarto bag there today for just $ 35 and my sister picked up some sunglasses for just $ 10 each. Too much other awesome stuff to look at. I was in a rush, but could have easily spent a lot more time looking at the selection of purses, jewelry, shoes and racks of high-end clothing. Extremely nice owner and employees.

I don’t get it – I find the prices to be inflated for ok clothes. The racks are stuffed and it’s hard to browse. Staff is friendly but I’ve been shocked at the price of a used T shirt. Even a visibly used three dots shirt was priced in the mid-high 20s.

This is a great place. Over the years, I have built my wardrobe almost entirely out of things from here. This store has a great balance of cute vintage pieces, quality wardrobe staples, and slightly used trendy things. This is a small shop, but there’s enough to browse without feeling overwhelmed. The sales and the«5 dollar bins» are great. This store carries a wide variety of sizes, and no matter your age or style, you will almost always find something, they get new things in every day. Sue, the owner, is very helpful, knowledgeable, and reasonable when it comes to pricing. I definitely recommend it.

I LOVE this place! I always find a treasure and this consignment store prices goods at 30% or below retail value. The clothes are in perfect shape every time from higher-end retailers. Thank goodness for amazing savings!

Who knew? This place has a great affordable selection of vintage. If I could have shoved my feet into the gorgeous YSL satin pumps I would have snatched them up. Lots of good condition consignment pieces with great prices. I left with two great items — a leather jacket and a 40s black suit. I’ll be back often to check it out!

I passed this shop on my way through Newton and couldn’t resist stopping. I love consigment shops because you can always find something unique that no one else may have. This shop was no different. While the shop is small, it is packed to the gills with clutches, dresses, pants, skirts, sweaters, shoes, scarves, jewelry and other varied accessories, all with a personality all there own. The sales women were friendly, not pushy, and let me look around. I ended up getting a great poncho and a clutch(which the owner discounted more when I went to pay)… I will definitely head back next time I am in town.
