Outstanding customer service and selection!!! I bought an Eagle Creek 22″ Tarmac All Wheel for well below internet pricing. I took my 1^st trip with this luggage and the airlines lost it and when it was finally returned to me it was totally destroyed. Luckily it had the «No Matter What» guarantee and was replaced by Eagle Creek with no questions asked. Luggage Base handles everything for me!!!

. It took TWO WEEKS to ship this order without even a notice! I wrote several emails but there was no answer! I thought there was some problem with the order and couldn’t wait anymore. I asked the customer service to cancel my order but there is still no answer, so I decided to buy the same item on another website. What made me cry is that after I purchased the suitcase on the other website, the order was shipped! It causes me big trouble! Annoying experience!

I had a great experience with this company. I had some of their luggage on my Amazon wedding registry that was ordered by a family member. We never received one of the pieces, and while Amazon told me that I would have to have my family member deal with it (which I didn’t want to hassle them with), a representative from the company called me, apologized for my trouble, and immediately re-​sent the piece of luggage. The person I talked to was extremely kind and understanding of my tricky situation.

I am definitely a fan. My husband flies frequently and we were finally able to get some quality replacement luggage at a very competitive price. They beat Luggage Pros, which have a 115% guarantee, so you might want to try Luggage Pros first.
For us, time was of the essence so I didn’t have time to mess around with guarantees and such. We were in the area on vacation in Morro Bay and more than fed up with our «college age» luggage (good-​bye brown paper bags) and decided to upgrade to the grown-​up version with 4 wheels and all of the other bells and whistles.
My only issue was that the male salesperson told me that Kohls, Macy’s, Sears etc. weren’t authorized to sell the Samsonite Xspace bags we purchased when I told him I thought I saw the same bags at Kohls buy one get one free. He was wrong: Macy’s, Kohls, and Sears DO have the same Samsonite Xspace models available but they don’t have the same good price that Luggage Base has. Maybe the guy honestly didn’t know, so whatever. Despite that bit of misinformation, we still got a better deal on our bags than that offered by Kohls so I won’t hold it against them. I like when an independent operation beats a big motherstore like Kohls.
I’m definitely glad we stopped by. The store in San Luis has a good selection with decent prices as well but if you want the rock bottom price you might want to take a short drive to Nipomo. I’m glad we did! We’re going to Disney World (while my husband goes to work) and I’m pretty sure they won’t let you check 15 brown paper bags.
I highly recommend stopping by or giving them a call before you make any significant luggage purchase.

Usually when you find these kind of prices, the customer services is poor but not so with Luggage Base. They do a good job of ensuring a quality experience.
