Once again we were saved by these guys! Woke up to a flood from the water heater. Called them at 7:15 and by 815 the repair was done and I was on my way to work. The technicians are always professional and kind.

Last spring, I won a «free» HVAC cleaning and inspection at Nixpo. I was finally able to schedule them to come out the second week of December(my fault, not theirs). The technician arrived five minutes early, and did present a professional appearance. While he was checking my furnace, he found the heat exchanger to have holes and shut the gas off. He also began trying to sell me a new system at a cost of almost $ 8000. Since my system is an older Lennox unit(made in the 1970’s, but not used for many years before 2005), I thought the possibility of a leak was reasonable. He did not clean the unit or complete the rest of the inspection. After he left, I began researching that particular unit — and combined with my 30+ years of experience as a facility maintenance professional, I began questioning his findings. I decided to check the unit myself — and after a thorough inspection, I could find no leaks in the heat exchanger. That is when I decided to contact another company for another opinion. The second company that came out charged me $ 95 for the inspection — and it was money well spent. The tech did a COMPLETE inspection, using cameras and a leak detection fluid, and did not discover any leaks. He then fired up the furnace, and did a very thorough test for carbon monoxide(which Larson did NOT do) — and showed me the results — 0 parts per million, proving that there is NO leak in the system. Since I did not pay for the«service» by Larson, I don’t feel like I lost anything — but, knowing that the tech did not do a complete job, and did not test for CO, I will not recommend them for anything. It was an attempt to sell me a system that I do not need at this time. If they inspect your system — QUESTIONEVERYTHING. If they cannot show you physical evidence of a problem, get a second opinion.

Had them come out to check out my heating system before the big winter weather hit. I really appreciated them working with my work schedule and calling me before they headed over. Josh the tech that came out was great! Very friendly and knowledgeable. He did a very in depth inspection. He also changed filters while he was here. While here he found a few things that might need to be fixed, but nothing emergent. He showed me what he found and explained it all with me. He gave me an estimated price and told me that if I wanted to proceed now we could and he could get me exact prices or if I wanted to proceed with his suggestions and follow up in a month or two I could. I really liked how great Josh was at taking the time to explain and discuss everything with me. Also with Steve the owner to discuss my needs before hand.

Can’t say enough about these guys! The first time we ever used them, it was for a glitch with our water heater. They were here for about 10 minutes, found the problem(which was minor), fixed it ANDDIDNTCHARGEUS! I tried to at least pay for a service call and the tech said it wasn’t necessary as it was such a small thing. What company does this? Only this one! Since then, we faced used them for a whole new HVAC and plumbing repairs. Very professional, very kind, very good to work around schedules.
