we went in on a Saturday afternoon. The waitstaff was very attentive… The food was just ok, to not so Ok. Stale chips and watery tomatoe sauce salsa. As opposed to salsa with spices and thick. Portions were OK, I had the #1 combination. The Taco was Ortega shell, some ground beef which was salted quite a bit, hot house tomatoes and some crumbled cheese. Enchiladas were both beef… same as taco, Mole sauce was just some reddish/brown stuff. Rice was just rice, nothing special. While it wasn’t great, it wasn’t bad either. There’s other places in town which are on par with this one.

Sad to say that something has changed with our favorite Las Rocas. I don’t know if ownership has changed, but the personnel is different. Gone are our fun and friendly waitresses who used to greet us loudly and warmly at the door. And the food and drink has changed too, and not for the better. The margarita we had today was not good at all– watered down and not fresh. The cheese dip is spicier now– and not as creamy. The guacamole, which used to be so chunky and flavorful, is now too thin, too liquid, and too spicy. The beans are a bit watery. All these things which used to be so delicious now taste cheap, average, and disappointing. The Pollo Loco Tapatio was still good, but the rest– meh! We will not be returning, which is so sad because for years this has been our favorite Mexican food place. Adiós, Las Rocas.

I’ve driven past this place many a time and we decided to give it a try. The sparcely filled parking lot on a Sunday lunch should’ve been a warning. 1 server to handle half the dining room. Nothing against her but she couldn’t handle it and few people could. Most importantly the food was bland and the chips were stale. With Chuys around and El rodeo, no need to bother with this place.

Best mexican food I’ve had north of Indy. The Carnitas Tacos were great. I asked for the hot salsa in addition to the regular salsa and was delighted!

Good food, and quickly prepared. Our server wasn’t super fast — I think the tall backs of the booths make it hard to see if a customer needs something. But she was very sweet, most especially to our little guy, who she greeted and laughed with, to his great delight. I should give a 4 star just for that. I’ve had better food, but they have really improved since I ate here last. Not the best on the shrimp allergy thing, but once we insisted, I think she got it. Just a translation error, I think. The place looked mostly clean, just a few little things on the floor, but it’s the end of the night too. I like the place, but not sure it’s great enough for a 4 star.

Incredibly friendly people serving you with fast service. The fajias were great, but the chili relleno needed more egg and sauce.

This place isn’t anything exceptional, but the service is good and so is the food. I was at a training in Noblesville and randomly decided to stop here for lunch. We were greeted by the extremely pleasant hostess and seated immediately. We were given chips and salsa, which tasted fresh. I ordered the shrimp quesadilla and it was just ok. Pretty basic. Although the service was good, the restaurant itself was nice, the food just didn’t stand out.

My husband and I went to this restaurant and fell in love with the staff and the food! They treat us like family and always make us feel welcomed. I brought my son and his family there and they loved it. It is the only Mexican restaurant my family now goes to. We love the queso with chorizo dip. My favorite is the shrimp fajitas and I get chorizo cooked with it. They are always willing to please the customers. They will accommodate you in giving you your order your way. Robert the manager is very friendly and easy to talk to. Santa and Paula are two of the sweetest servers I have ever encountered! The food is a 10 plus and the margaritas are great too.

Absolutely hands down favorite Mexican restaurant. Love the staff, especially Santa Cruz and Fausto. Food is great. Patio is wonderful. Ask for the hot salsa and salsa verde! Our go-to dishes are the Aroz con Pollo & the carnitas tacos. Also we always get the deep-fried jalapenos as a side,

My husband, myself and a neighbor friend tried this place for the first time this past Saturday night. My husband and I love Mexican food so were looking forward to trying a new place. The main reason for the«two star» rating is that we found out a rather strange way about their margaritas. When my husband asked the waiter to see if the bartender could put more tequila in his margarita, the waiter looked at him with a smile and said«no tequila, wine» to which we all were, as you could imagine, very surprised. Bottom line… can only serve beer and wine. So I told them that I thought that was false advertising to not tell people what they were«not» getting in their margarita. This was an expensive glass of margarita mix and wine! :(If they had just said that(unless for some reason we missed it in the menu, which I doubt), I would have understood. But not to tell people is a different thing altogether. They need to be upfront! As for the food… my chili poblano was marginal but then I have a high benchmark for the very best… La Hacienda on Graham Rd… hands down but two thumbs up… the very best Mexican restaurant in Indianapolis!

Easily the best Mexican I’ve been to in Noblesville. Good food, good service. The owner’s have run a couple of places around town before, and they’ve all been good-this is their best place yet. Keep it up!

Went for a late lunch this weekend with a friend. Service was extremely friendly and quick. Food was good, but nothing extraordinary. If I were in the area and in the mood for Mexican, I would probably go back, but nothing about the place stood out.

I don’t understand the negative reviews — I’m wondering if they got the name wrong. I eat here probably once a week. The waitresses here are extremely friendly and nice. The food quality is good and the dishes are tasty. Not gourmet, but reliably enjoyable.

After reading the first two reviews I was skeptical about this place, but I realized that they probably suffered from what all restaurants suffer from when they first open. The most previous review had me ready to try it out. I won’t mention the décor too much, only that you could tell a bit that it was a remodeled previous restaurant, but I don’t really care about that. I only care about the service and the food, and I did try the burrito loco and it was absolutely fantastic. Whatever the sauce they cook that chicken(or beef if you order it that way in) is amazing. I also had a tamale which was actually quite good. I wasn’t that keen on the salsa, but it wasn’t bad, just not the kind I like, a little on the sweet side. The server was friendly and she even told me about how crazy it was when they first opened(after I mentioned the reviews on Unilocal). I highly recommend the place, mostly for the food, which is the best reason and I am quite picky.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in the Indianapolis area. I think the past reviewer might have caught them when they first opened in August, as I was there that first week to, and they did seem a bit overwhelmed. …but today, the food is fantastic and the servers are so friendly and helpful! They have even taken the time to teach my two daughters a few things in Spanish too. The Burrito Loco is to die for, covered with white cheese sauce! MMmmmm! Yes, this is not a 5 star place, and it does look like they slapped about $ 500 into the interior design, but what is most important anyway? Yep, that’s right, the food. LOVEIT!
