Master Yoo’s World Class Tae Kwon Do

My child has been attending Master Yoo’s since February. I held off on rating this business until she was well established and I felt I had given then school enough time to provide a fair evaluation. My child is more focused and confident (and stronger!) since she started this program. She attends 4 and sometimes 5 classes per week and never complains. I attend most of my child’s classes and observe the masters interactions with students. They are always so good with the students and the students are eager to do well. This business is also involved with the community and raises money for charity. I am so pleased to have found an activity my child is passionate about and has such a positive influence on her, not only in the art, but also in school.

I have known Master Yoo for a number of years. I know he is a driven a committed instructor.

My oldest son had a great experience there. I wanted to talk about my daughter and possible family classes. The lady would not assist me on the phone and I don’t drive. She wanted me to have my daughter take the program at her school. Miss Sharon told me she could not help. I will find an equally good school.

Special needs and autism kids stay away because they will give up on you. Signed my son up at the fishers freedom festival where he got the uniform and a private 1 hour lesson. I told them at that time that he had autism and was non verbal. They recommended a private lesson. Took my son to his lesson and 15 minutes later the guy said he was done and left. My son screamed when he left the room as he was enjoying it. I was enjoying watching him have fun as I fully planned to sign him up for more lessons. He wasn’t doing things perfect, but i’m sure kids without special needs don’t do things perfect at first either. We were then told they had nothing for him and he wasn’t there yet for them to work with. My son doesn’t understand, but he looked sad leaving. They could’ve told us at the freedom festival when they met him there that they don’t work with special needs kids when they took my money. It’s not even about the money. Don’t give up on kids because they are more of a challenge.

I am glad that I signed up my two kids at Master Yoo’s Tae Kwon Do. Master Yoo and his staff are very friendly and professional. They seem to really care about their students and families. My kids want to go to classes everyday and they started showing more focus and respect. The classes are fun and very educational. I am also very impressed that Master Yoo is doing a lot of great things for the community and local schools. I feel lucky there is such a wonderful martial arts school in our community.

Three of my sons are enrolled at Master Yoo’s. I highly recommend this dojang to anyone that asks about it. I’ve seen marked improvements in my boys. Their ability to focus, be respectful, and self discipline continues to improve with time. And… they love Master Yoo’s!
