I’m not sure which I love better the awesome food, or the stellar service, Jabriel and Medina are the best, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but I really love the sweet potato fries with off menu«monkey sauce»

I was so looking forward to trying this based on the Unilocal reviews. I was disappointed. The meat didn’t have much flavor and the cheese was cold. The fries weren’t cooked long enough and also cold. I must add that the staff was very friendly.

I normally go to the Riverside, and this is my first time at the Norco. It’s family owned and ran and they are the nicest family ran business I have been in in a long long time. Food is always great with a smile!

Two stars for the yummy burger, but there is a LOT missing here for no logical reason that resulted in a 3-star deduction: 1. Price: at over $ 16 for a SINGLE bacon cheeseburger with egg and Boss Fries, this is not really an affordable fast food place. You can get the same thing walking distance away at Carl’s Jr. for about half that price. 2. Fries had a not very appealing burnt smell to them. I think it was because the left in the tiny slivers that get burned very quickly… and there was not enough cheese on them and the turkey bacon had NOT been crisped up… but rather limp and on the flabby side… . 3. They discontinued their former yummy shakes about 3 months ago. WHY… as that was one of the nice attractions of this place. However, they were about 50% the size of the yummy ones served at nearby Denny’s at the SAME price. 4, No onion rings. WhY… as those are a great staple of any good burger joint. 5. No chili, as in a chiliburger that made Tommy’s famous.
6. It seems like no one has a clue about how to make a cheeseburger there. They cook the burger, put in on a bun, and then put COLD cheese on top… just like McDonald’s does. Put the cheese on while the burger is still on the grill and then cover it with a little steam added under a cover to melt the cheese so it is nice a gooey. Where is the common sense here? Due to all of the above, I will be taking my $ 500 to $ 1,000 a year spent on burgers elsewhere, as this chain no longer meets my desires and seems to me really out of touch with the customers and industry trends. In the beginning, they were the only ones making craft burgers, but now almost ALL places have jumped on the bandwagon, including nearby Red Robin, Denny’s, Chili’s etc… And all those serve SHAKES&ONIONRINGS&CHILI… . If they can all do it, what is wrong with the corporate mentality at Burger Boss? You are regressing instead of progressing, and eventually your sales will be impacted by customers like me who want it all and not just a portion of what CAN be offered if you try.

This place is painted in the coolest green color. You basically stand in line while reviewing the overhead menu. The menu is simple as you customize your own burger and fries if you want to «boss» them. The décor is simple but cool and there are a few TVs here. The customer Service was very friendly here and the prices are misleading because many of the items to customize the burger are extra so by the time you have customized the burgers on your ticket you may be surprised at the bill. The ingredients are fresh and the burger patties are grass-fed beef. The burger that I had was fantastic and was the best I have had in a while. I think that the burgers are so good because you have it made how you want it. I also think that the green olives are the secret ingredient here; It added extra zing to the burger. The fresh ingredients definitely help with the taste of the burger. The fries and sweet potato fries were also really good. I was surprised when I saw that they only had turkey bacon and not real bacon but I had so many flavors in my burger I couldn’t tell. The only real negative was the price after the customized burgers. I recommend that you try it at least once.

Overall good experience. Decorations are a little cold. Food was good but not amazing. Would rather The Habit or In-n-Out but this could be third place. The ranch dressing was cheap quality/taste. I like that I can make my own flavors.

I came with coworkers on a Friday probably during their busiest times around(~12pm) and it was packed. The line was almost out the door if we didn’t curve the line. Parking was also surprisingly difficult to find because I usually eat around the area and it’s never ever packed for parking. It was my first time here, but it was definitely very easy to understand how to order. You pick your protein, bun, cheese, and toppings. I believe I got the chicken burger, no cheese, every topping except jalepeno, with fries and drink. For the sauce that I got with the fries, it was buffalo sauce and it was pretty spicy. My burger was also huge! It was pretty difficult for me to eat and I had to end up using a fork and knife. In the end, I thought it was delicious and decently prices, too. The only downfall was that it took about 15 minutes to deliver it out to us. We did get a fair warning about it though because as I was placing the order, the cashier told me kindly that the wait would be about 15 minute. She definitely didn’t exaggerate and it came out in about 15 minutes. I would definitely come back again, but probably at a different time.

Wasn’t expecting much just a burger, fries and a drink. First off I was truly taken aback by how friendly the staff was, not just the gentleman taking my order I mean the ENTIRESTAFF. The staff member taking my order offered up some great suggestions but before he did that he asked what I liked so I knew he was really focusing on my interests. The Manager(I think) overheard the cashier saying it was my first time so he says«Your first time here? Drinks are on us then» So customer service was great but what about the food? Gotta say pretty damn good too. I ordered a grass fed beef bacon, cheese burger and an order of boss fries. The prices are not of the traditional fast food chains but you get what you pay for and it was all good quality. I will definitely be back in the future.

I finally tried burger boss tonight even after all the naysayers… Man I loved it! Yes its pricy but what do you expect it’s all organic lol. Makeen had the best customer service. Awesome burgers and great service! I highly recommend the chipotle mayo and the garlic herb mayo. Yes, I mean AND. You must mix the two on the burger. The fries could have been crispier, but they were tasty nonetheless. I love burgers when I can actually taste the meat. And this place delivered. We will definitely be back.

I love this place and I will come again. This place is sooo good my son and I dined in and had burgers. It was great customer service love it. The girl that helped me had just left and she had knowledge on what was vegan and what was not since I was buying it for someone. I mean there’s some negative where the worker that helped me with the take out didn’t know what was vegan on the menu or not. I was buying a vegan burger for my brother and didn’t really know a lot but knew a lot morethan them. I’m just hoping that whoever was working the front would know more about their burgers. But I love this place sooo much I am still giving 5 stars… Yummmmmmyyyyy I wouldn’t recommend the vegan patty even my brother didn’t like it we threw it out. But the regular burgers are great! Didn’t like the fries and the sweet potato fries either.:/

After a long day at Monster Energy«Getting Shit Done». I needed a place to really make it my own, BYOB syle this doesn’t mean what you think it does«build your own burger». As you walk in to the restaurant you are presented with a clean comforable enviorment. As I approached the counter the girl was very welcoming and helpfull as my eyes opened up to all the different options you have at your finger tips. Should I go for the single or double, go big or home is what I say, «double it is». Then you can choose your bun, cutting back on carbs after he holiday load up, I went with the lettuce bowl piled high with all the toppings including avocado and egg over medium. Now this is the manly protein plate built captain furious style. All the food was cooked to perfection and fresh is always the key. Great Job Burger Boss I will be back.

I’m on a pretty strict eating routine so while in the area, i was looking for something that will fit my plan and this was the perfect place! it’s new, very clean with a very big space. it has a very simple and modern décor and layout which is nice but feels isolating when the restaurant isn’t packed with diners. the tables are all spread out with the effort to fill out the large space. so a few more tables would be nicer. they have two LARGE screen TVs which was showing football at the time. the menu is simple, step 1, step 2, …etc(like most casual restaurants nowadays). i got the single patty of the grass-fed beef($ 5.99) in a lettuce bowl with smoked gouda cheese($.99 extra), with baby spinach and crispy pickles(free toppings) and avocados($.99 extra). My nice good size bowl of salad came out to $ 8.00 total. not too shabby. my hubby, on the same meal plan had the single beef, lettuce bowl, smoked gouda cheese, garlic herb mayo(sauce is also free), grilled jalapenos(free toppings) with a fried egg($.99 extra). We were both pretty satisfied with our meals! It was delicious, fresh and easy to order. With all the restrictions people are on these days, it’s nice to be able to go to a place and order exactly what you want without sounding like a pretentious, self-centered, hipster.

So the last time I called Burger Boss home they were just starting out and not even on Unilocal, but they have certainly came a long way since! The best thing that draws me here is the fact that they are health conscious and it does show with each bite. The beef has a lean tasting feel to it and won’t leave you weighed down which is a definite plus. The toppings are both fresh and thankfully not top heavy. I went with some turkey bacon which was thick and far from salty, but light enough to make me moo with appreciation! The mushrooms were not watery or douched in seasoning as they just let it do its thing layered with the rest of the burger I admit I am a bit bummed that they no longer have their boss fries, but they did it for image and to help people be in good shape and even I respect that. When the meal speaks for itself with quality and taste that’s on point who needs sauce and loads of cheese to provide a distraction

I love burger boss! Their burgers are my favorite in the area. I missed being able to go to Bobbys Burgers back east and this has been my closest substitute since I moved out West. I love how many options they give you. The food is always fresh to order. My favorite is the black bean burger with Avocado, lettuce & tomato. Always hits the spot! Their meat patties are delicious also and i have tried them and was very impressed. I just am not a huge groundbeef fan normally and love having great options(like their turkey or black bean patties). Their cheese selection is spot on, too. I think all the restaurants in this little shopping center are all some of my favorite dining experiences in town! So glad to have this place close to home.

Sort of ok, sort of not. Considering how they could gut you for add-ons, I was a bit miffed that my mushroom+ grilled onion + good tasting beef(cooked to a «still pink» inside) on an overly, heavy wheat bun, had an aftertaste of rancid oil. I dissected it and tasted each part. And ah hah. The mushrooms and onions were the guilty party. That is when the«I am Woman, I am Strong» person came out in me. I went to the counter to talk with the manager. At first very patronizing and in denial, he suddenly realized I had figured out what happened when he admitted to cooking the mushrooms in oil on the outer edge of the grill. Not as well scrubbed perhaps? A frequent problem I find in many a restaurant. And the proof was, he had just cooked another batch elsewhere, and they were perfectly fine. Well no real apologies, no freebies, no future discounts. I think he should have taken a lesson in customer satisfaction. I guess he didn’t really need my business. Just so you know, the fries are addictive, obviously fresh cut and probably twice cooked, then salted lightly. I might be back for those. Not the mushroom burger. Our bill came to just under $ 20 for two average hamburgers, one order of fries, and a shared Coke. Ah… well. Hit and miss.

Three hours into our drive to San Diego, we were feeling a little hungry and a Unilocal search brought us to Burger Boss. The restaurant is convenient from the 15 and didn’t take us far from the route to our destination. It was a very worthwhile stop as my brother and I fueled up with some tasty burgers. I built my single burger($ 5.99) on white kaiser with smoked gouda($.99), cajun buffalo sauce, grilled onions, and grilled mushrooms($.49). The corn fed angus beef cooked to medium was juicy and flavorful. I had a chocolate shake for beverage which was don’t bother with a straw use a spoon thick. And we split an order of fresh cut fries. The cashier was helpful and patient with our order. The burgers were brought out to our table in a timely manner and the lunch stop did not detract from our drive time significantly. Delicious burgers, with endless combinations of toppings, and efficient service will put Burger Boss as a primary option whenever we need to make a pit stop on our drives to So Cal.
