Delicious food! I rarely clean my plate when we go out, but I certainly did this time! Good value for the price.

First time here… It’s a hidden gem! The battered fish is the BEST! The batter is light and crispy, oh so yummy My husband ordered the grilled tuna, brown rice and ordered a side of grilled veggies — he was in love at first bite!

Omg hidden gem in Norco. I’m so glad my friend introduced this little restaurant to me. Since it was in Norco, I didn’t have high expectations at all LOL but omg when I tried the ahi poke salad… AMAZING! I wasn’t even that hungry, but I ate the whole thing anyways cuz it was that good. The raw fish was fresh and the sauce was really good! It cost about $ 11 so it was just a little pricey, but it was definitely worth it. My friends ordered the fish taco combo and told me how great it was too. They give you pretty big portions of fish. But again, then said it was a little pricey as well. I wish they have taco Tuesday’s lol I’ll be back to try the grilled shrimp and fish tacos!

Yummy food! Try the coconut shrimp!!! I dream of eating this again! :mouth watering: I had the fish tacos. Yum. Only suggestion would be if this place got a salsa bar. If you’re looking for spice, all they have is bottles(tapatio, gringo bandido, etc.) I can’t wait to eat here again with the hubby! And I’ll definitely bring the family with!

Finally made it over. I have heard many positive things about this place and saw the piece in Westways magazine from AAA. Many of my Unilocal peeps have given the thumbs up. The place was busy and all but 2 small tables were being used up. There was a short line and the woman running the counter was multi-tasking better than an octopus with 10 arms. She greeted everyone with a smile and didn’t let the busy moment get to her. I went with the Ahi poke salad for $ 11. It was one of my faves. Plenty of ahi and poke all around. I had to try the grilled shrimp taco(highly recommend). Wife went the garlic shrimp noodles and she was very impressed. No kid’s menu so I ordered the fish and chips for my boy. It was a huge plate of fish. Definitely enough for 2. My son is super picky, so when he devoured the fish I was impressed. My daughter just had some calamari rings(look just like onion rings). I did sneak in an order of sweet potato fries but only got in a few bites because they were so good they didn’t last at the table. I also ran into my Unilocal confidant Kim O. and her husband at the restaurant. It’s nice to meet Unilocal peeps in person. Overall, the staff and food was great. I will work this into the playbook. Happy eating!

This place was amazing! The lady at the register was extremely nice and helpful, and had a really watchful eye over the place. She was over to provide a replacement the second I accidentally dropped my knife. Everything on the plate tasted really, really good. I got the grilled white fish, which came with a side of rice, bread, and coleslaw. The bread wasn’t stiff and flavorless like it is at a lot of other places, it tasted like a really good piece of toast. The coleslaw wasn’t too dry, too wet, too sweet, too much mayo, etc. It was just right, and was probably the best I’ve ever had. Will 100% be back.

First time here at the Fish Grill. Very clean, simple and welcoming ambiance. Seats about 25 – 30 guest, cashier greeted us upon arrival, very friendly and suggestive. I recommend the coconut shrimp as a starter, 4 shrimp freshly made, served with a sweet dipping sauce. Moved onto the clam chowder, reasonably priced for the serving size. Served very hot as it should be and more importantly very fresh. For the entrée I had the Crispy Tuna steak, topped with a mango/teriyaki sauce, a side of sweet white rice, and sweet pickled purple cabbage. Great dish, a little too sweet for my pallet, but still great. Short on time? Everything came out exceptionally quick & fresh. Will be back to try the tacos!

I love this place so much! Their tomato basil soup is heaven in a bowl. My boyfriend and i try to visit here at least once a week. I am in love with the fish and chips. The tuna salad is great too. Pretty much anything we have ever gotten here was amazing. The portions are very generous. This grill is a true gem that we are lucky to have so local to us in town! I am grateful to have such easy access to such healthy and delicious freshly prepared food. On top of that, the owners seem like very nice and interesting people. Its always great to get to enjoy either dining in or take out(after a long work day). This food always hits the spot!

I had the Ahi seasoned with Cajun spices, garlic rice and Coke slaw and watermelon lemonade. If I lived in the area I would be visiting this place once a week. This little restaurant is everything and more that all the other reviews have indicated. Never have seen this many Unilocalers agree without wavering. I plan o coming back before I leave to sample some more of the menu.

First time Unilocal reviews were on point around this area. This is how good this place is, I had dinner here last night and I’m back for lunch today. Food is superb and is well presented. Anything you order is a good choice. Prices are decent too. My personal favorite is the Crispy Tuna Steak. It comes with rice with a creamy hint of coconut and pickled Japanese red cabbage. This spot is definitely a hidden gem amongst a barrage of below average to mediocre places to eat around here. Customer service is awesome as well. I just wished she had help. She was the one taking orders and waiting the tables. This place is tiny and they need more seating space. Other than that, highly recommend this place!

Found out about this restaurant through Westways magazine. They must be new because they weren’t here a few months ago when I was in the same plaza for Volcano Hawaiian food. It’s got the hipster feel upon entering. And it was a pretty busy/full house on a Friday evening during the Lenten season. I ordered the coconut shrimp for my daughter, fish taco plate for myself, and trout plate for my husband. My daughter seemed to enjoy the shrimp. And I can say I don’t normally like coconut shrimp because the coconut crust tends to be overbearing and sweet. However, this was not the case at Deep Sea. And the pineapple sauce it comes with is tasty! Fish tacos looked pretty big on my plate with a small serving of beans and garlic fried rice. Everything tasted great. Only disappointment was after biting into the breaded fish, I found that there seemed to be more bread than fish. My husband repeatedly said his fish was great. It was served on top of a bed of broccolo and green beans and side of garlic fried rice. The fillet did look small or thin though. But my husband didn’t seem to mind as he enjoyed every bite. This place gets 5 stars for great food at a great price, but I’d like to see a little more seafood on the plate.

Based on all the high reviews I had high expectations of this restaurant. I ordered the garlic butter swai white fish with the white rice. The fish was extremely bland and tasteless. It did not taste like anything, so I highly do not recommend ordering this entrée. Their rice is mixed with coconut cream and absolutely does not pair well with the fish. Long story short, do not order the swai white fish unless you feel like eating something unflavorful. The coconut flavored rice is more useful/presentable as a dessert rather than an entrée pairing. The customer service was outstanding however. We were greeted upon arrival with a pleasant smile. Don’t go to the restroom unless you feel like inhaling vape or marijuana smoke. We will not come back.

Came here for a stop over lunch when passing through. I ordered the ahi poke tuna salad. It was fresh and tasty. The tuna was especially fresh. I also got the kiwi lemonade. I don’t think I was used to the taste of this drink(not that it was bad). I think I should’ve just gotten a regular lemonade though. Service was friendly. The odd thing about this place though is I saw no trash cans anywhere to dispose your food. So we left the plates on the table on the way out.

Our visit to Norco was solely based on a visit to Floor & Décor. Since I hadn’t had lunch yet, I told my husband to take me somewhere quick to grab a bite before heading home. I didn’t expect such a delight from this hidden gem in the corner! I ordered 2 fish tacos and a side of fried zucchini for dine in. The food was made fresh upon ordering, you would expect a long wait but it wasn’t long at all. The fish was perfectly battered, not greasy at all with just the right amount of cabbage. My husband who’s not really big on fish tacos(because of the fishyness) had a bite and loved it! He ended up eating my 2nd taco. Haha! The fried zucchini was unbelievable with the homemade sauce. Just the right combination. I also ordered their refreshing watermelon lemonade and it was delicious!!! The restaurant is clean and the service is just perfect. I hope to see this place flourish and do well so that they can relocate to a more exposed location. Perhaps expand! We will definitely be returning. We now have more than just tiles and wood flooring for a reason to visit Norco.

Stop by a second time– My fiancée had the Cajun Salmon and I had the Garlic Butter Salmon. I would have to say that i like the Cajun flavor much more than the Garlic butter. Both are good flavors but the Cajun takes my vote. –The bed of rice is some sort of coconut flavor-ish, i found it to be different– yet good. I also had the fish tacos once again and it did not disappoint. Very consistent in their quality of the food. –Definitely a spot that is on our list of «Where should we eat?» decisions.

One more fish specialty café has set up shop in Corona/Norco. It’s not that we are inundated. Far from it. We need more healthy options like this one. But unfortunately, not all was love at first bite. Starting with our one small cup of clam chowder, there was room for improvement. It was overly thickened. I don’t know why restaurants want to heavily thicken what could be such a lovely creamy soup. The sweet clam flavor(and there were nice clam chunks) and seasonings lose out, the starchy carbs go through the ceiling. It was not memorable. Glad we shared. Glad we only got one cup. Still searching for better. And I made a major mistake ordering the Mahi with garlic butter. I know this is a firm white fish. That means that no matter how precisely you cook it, it will be lean and dry, as mine was. And the garlic butter made no improvement. The portion size was good but I would not repeat this particular fish. Now, on the other hand, the Grilled Ahi with a delicate ginger dipping sauce was excellent. It was still buttery raw in the middle, and the perfectly seared outside was delicately seasoned. The ginger sauce was quite drinkable. And the serving size was generous. We upgraded to brown rice as a side. Interesting, it was nicely cooked and offered a very delicate coconut flavor, perhaps cooked with coconut oil? Each dish came with a mayo base coleslaw. It was pretty good. No complaints, but then I like mayo. The friendly owner was manning the counter. She offered tastes of the cucumber mint and strawberry basil juices. Both were sweetened, but if you are into that, they were good. The minimalist décor was tasteful, mostly giving a nautical feel. There were unpainted wood slats covering two walls and wooden coke cases with industrial lights that were used as sconces on a third wall. Clever design. The tables were set up to allow for plenty of space for seating. I liked the reasonable prices and the healthy offerings. The wait for our meal was reasonably short. I just need to find the right fish.
