The food here is very flavorful, service is friendly, fast, I have also seen them make mistakes with customers orders but quickly correct them. They also catered a couple event for me which where reasonable priced and a lot of food.

We order our food to go because the seating area is small. As far as phone orders go, they always get it correct and we have never come home with a mistake.

This place gets a generous 2 stars. This place was as stale as 5 week old bread. When I walked in it was almost silent. There were customers inside but I felt like I was in detention. Seemed like the life had been sucked out of this place. I mean no spirit whatsoever. No greetings from the staff. Only silence. I waited to place my to go order and the cashier taking the orders was grumpy or maybe she was like grumpy cat and always looks that way. Not a good person to be representing the face of your business. –1 star. I was trying to look at the menu but it was very messy. The prices had been updated with handwritten prices held in place by tape. The menu board was a mess. Placed order of 4 of the 99¢ tacos for my wife and I went with the all meat burrito(chicken, asada, and carnitas, with sour cream, cheese, and guacamole). I decided to go for 2 tacos of lengua and right away grumpy cat points to sign the lengua tacos are not included in the 99¢ promotion. Oh, I’m sorry I missed that sign right behind you with the huge misspelling of except with«excep». Yes, I did see the sign. I could spare the extra .75¢ each. Paid and then waited and waited and waited. It took close to 20 minutes while 3 other people who placed order after me received their orders. Finally the order showed up and off we went. –1 star. The presentation wasn’t bad. The lengua tacos were very tasty, I just had to add my own lime at home because it didn’t come with my order. My wife liked the asada. The carnitas were way too salty. For my wife to say that meant it was extremely salty. I then cut open my burrito to check it out. It was stuffed full of meat. That was a plus. Then I bit into it and it was completely overpowered by the salty carnitas. I mean, how does one mess up carnitas? The rest of the meat was good. I did not find the guacamole until the last 2 bites. The guacamole was stuck in one end of the burrito. I felt like I just went through a taco bell and had one of their burritos. –1 star. They do have a salsa bar but it does get crowded around it because of its location. I tried it once but will not try again. Save yourself the time and drive somewhere else. I probably should not have eaten at taco dudes earlier in the day or at taqueria mora a few days ago because I was comparing this place to those establishments. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. Good luck.

Fresh authentic hole in the wall Mexican food. I highly recommend the carne asada burrito wet with the green sauce. I have used them for catering services several times. The owner Sergio will work with you if you want to change a few menu items to meet the needs of your event.

Not great. Got the carnitas tacos … Salt lick… ive been about this spot for years but like a yr ago I suffered a terrible days worth of food poisoning. So I let it go word around town is they were okay again. So thought I’d try. mistake another day thrown away to the porcelain throne … but they do have orange fanta in bottles which is great

This is a great taco shop. The kids and I go here all the time. We like to have lunch, the kids love the hard shell tacos. I like the carnitas! The place is small, but clean and the staff is nice. They also do catering.

Well I wanted to try something new near my Jobsite. I asked if they had MSG in the food and I was told«no». As I am waiting on my food, I see a large container of monosodium glutamate, I ask if that is in all of the food, the cook states it’s in the enchilada sauce so I start to change my order. The manager Sergio comes around the corner and states it’s only in the birria, nothing else. I explain to him again that I’m allergic to MSG and if I need to go to another restaurant, it’s not a problem. He promises MSG isn’t in the food. Not three bites into my food, I start feeling the effects of MSG! Thank you Sergio for being a liar, I am now suffering the consequences of my food allergy. Not happy at all. The gal that took my order and the cook were very sweet and obviously the ones I should have trusted.

When in town, I always come here. I usually order the beef flautas and they’re the best I’ve ever had anywhere else. I used to get the mini carne asada tacos(American style which come with lettuce, cheddar cheese, and tomatoes) but I tend to crave the flautas most of the time. The al pastor is pretty good also, and yesterday I tried the beef taquitos… they were ok, but nothing is good as the flautas!

I did NOT get to try food because everything I wanted was not on the menu. the items are very limited if you have not been here this is not a standard menu place as they do not serve tostadas, Tortas, wet burritos or any mole enters among others stuff. Strictly a taco, burrito& quesadilla place except they serve menudo but not today when I wanted some. If I’m in the mood for tacos or burritos I may be back.

Been coming here since I was a kid. They’ve always had excellent food. We love the tacos, burritos, and the boyfriend especially loves the chile rellenos! Never had a bad dish.

One of the best taco places around. The tacos come with so much meat that it’s easy enough to order two while at other places you find yourself ordering double that and still being hungry. I always order a side of beans– they are way too good.

Shredded chicken is amazing. El pastor burrito was filling. Loved my chimichanga after not having one for years. Delicious beans and rice. So glad it’s not too far from our place. I can’t wait to go back to try other items on the menu. We ordered it to go and it was ready in about 10 – 15 minutes. It was a little pricy, but definitely worth it.

Definitely a two star Tuesday! My husband and I were in the area to visit his Brother, and it was lunch time, so I did my detective work, using my Unilocal app, and found this little HITW taqueria. Their Unilocal page states that they were voted favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Can’t go wrong with that right? Wrong biatch! Very tiny with only about 6 – 8 tables inside, none of which were clean, and none of which had napkins in the holder. You order at the counter, and wait for your number to be called. I ordered a #1 combo, which was a Taco, an enchilada, and a tamale, with the requisite rice and beans. My husband got the two taco combo. Both of our tacos seemed to be very over done, as if they were previously fried, and refried again when we ordered them. We both found the flavors lacking in everything, and chalked this $ 26 lunch up to bad luck and a forgettable experience.

This place doesn’t have a bad thing on their entire menu! Been coming here for years, tried many different items and they’re all dank! This is the part of the review where I usually list a few of my favorite items but I seriously can’t decide — it’s all good! Soft chicken tacos, burritos, carna asada quasodilla, their beans and rice! I could do this all day! So bomb! Support small business!

New favorite place! The service is excellent. Everyone who works there is extremely nice and accomodating. My boyfriend and I went there during the week and tried their beef and chicken taquitos. They were awesome! My family and I ended up going in Sunday and ordering 2 dozen of each(without calling ahead) Without any hesitation they made them up for us. When we got home we opened everything up and noticed they gave us a to-go box full of guacamole and 2 to-go boxes full of cheese! We were so positively surprised with everything we got for the price. We definitely will be coming back!

We were hanging out in the Corona area, got hungry and Unilocal brought us to this solid 4 star Mexican taco shop. We ordered a variety of street tacos from carnitas, carne asada, fish, lengua, and chicken. All of the meat was fairly tasty except for their fish taco sauce. The white mixed sauce they added onto the fish was the nastiest mixture of mayo/sour cream/tartar mixture. Gross! I think if they can fix the sauce, the fish itself was a solid winner. Onto the good stuff, the portions for street tacos were good and the carnitas, steak and chicken were by far the best and the lengua was a bit disappointing. The salsa bar were not clearly labeled, but the sauces were pretty easy to figure out which was mild and which was spicy. This is a good place to drop by for great tacos. The American style taco calls for guacamole and the Mexican style is chile verde, onions and cilantro(best way to have it). The service was friendly and since the owner/cashier wasn’t too busy we were chatting about her family owning other taquerias in the Santa Ana area.
