This place was filthy the 2 rooms they tried to give us were horrible. One room had dirty towels and dirty furniture. The other was no better as the door seemed like it was busted open and wouldn’t close. The whole second floor smelled like Marijuana and a sex movie was being filmed in one of the near rooms. Got a refund and left!

Pros: Room was pretty decent for the price, Dogs allowed Cons: everything else When we booked this hotel, it was because it allowed dogs(for a reasonable surcharge), it was in the area we wanted to be, and had a pool and jacuzzi. We were not happy at all with our stay here, for a number of reasons. First of all, the hotel is located between to rather sketchy hotels, which is not this hotel’s problem, but it made us a bit nervous when walking around outside this one. The bigger problem is that this appears to be owned and run entirely by a family, and they seem to be pinching the pennies. We only saw about 5 different people working here during our stay, and they all seemed related, and barely spoke English. First of all, the Jacuzzi in the pool area was broken, which was a huge disappointment. There was a rather old-looking sign on the door to the pool area to that effect. When I inquired at the front desk, I got a vague answer about how someone needed to come by to fix it. It was made clear that it would not be done during the course of the stay. At night, the lights were not turned on in the pool area, so it was very dim. There were no towels in the pool area. We had seen some in the laundry room while walking past it, but we were told there were none, and should use the towels in our room. There was a tiny stacked washer/dryer for guests to use, but they had no detergent to sell(«sold out» I was told. I am guessing they aren’t in a hurry to replenish). The continental breakfast shuts down promptly at 9:00AM(even on Sundays), and signs warn guests not to take food from the breakfast area. The first night what sounded like a fight among a large group of people broke out in the hallway outside our door. When we called to the front desk, the person scolded us for using a certain four letter word uttered while we were freaking out — meanwhile, we hear a woman screaming to someone to get their hands off her mother. Priorities? When we were headed out with our dog the first morning, the guy at the desk asked what our room number was, and asked us to hold on while he checked the computer — obviously to make sure we had notified them that we had the dog and paid the additional fee. The room itself was fine, and it appears they are replacing the current old TVs with flat screens(although the flatscreens are not yet hooked up). The rest of the hotel is a bit long in the tooth, though. All in all, I never got the feeling of being welcomed here — merely tolerated. Instead, it felt like they were more concerned with meeting minimum expectations and their reputation, like our happiness was only a concern for how it might affect them. We will not be staying here again.

This hotel is a family hotel, quiet, clean, the service is apropriate by the price, the breakfeast is good, juice, fruit, cereal, cake, coffe, milk, waffle, etc.

This hotel is defiantly a budget hotel($ 75.00 for two double beds), but at that price it’s still not cheap. It was so rundown it was on the creepy side. We had asked for a none smoking room, but as soon as you walked into the corridors you could smell the smoke. Our supposed«no smoking room» reeked of smoke. The walls are paper thin, so you hear voices and every door being opened and closed? The bathroom was filthy, around the base of the toilet there was buildup of old urine, on the countertops there was long black hair, The towels were not much bigger than a hand towel and extremely thin. The staff are the only positive thing about the place. The eating area downstairs was appalling. There are old drip stains all down the cabinet fronts, crumbs everywhere, carpets are dirty. The first two creamers I went to use for my coffee were bad. There was no fruit offered. Not a good start for my morning. We left that morning never to return again.

Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. First of all, I accidentally booked a smoking room for $ 32/night online. Didn’t realize this until I checked in. Even though the manager told me that the reason the room was so cheap was because it was a smoking room, he was nice enough to move me to a very nice non-smoking room at no additional charge. I thought this was great customer service, and I appreciated his kindness greatly. The location is a little outside Atlanta, but it is easy to get to on the interstate, and only takes about 20 minutes(unless you get stuck in Atlanta’s crazy traffic). The continental breakfast was great considering I paid almost nothing to stay here: cereal, bagels, waffles, muffins/pastries, fruit, and juice/coffee. Everyone else I met at the hotel(which seems to a be a family-run establishment) was also extremely kind. Highly recommended budget option in the Atlanta area.

I checked in because I needed a place to stay during the 2-day power outage, and a place where I could keep the food from my fridge. I saw that the hotel room’s refrigerator was in the bathroom, decided that wasn’t sanitary, and was refused a refund. Seriously, isn’t this a violation of the health code?
