Popeyes

I went there tonight and ordered number three and a blackberry pie. Got home didn’t have the blackberry pie went back took 30 minutes to get it. The girl tried to charge me again for the blackberry pie I asked about the guy the window they said there was no guy at the window and the guy just happened to walk up and the cashier called me a ma’am I am a guy. Please ask for a receipt at this Popeyes. All this over a dollar pie

Fast food review, real fast. At a red light waiting for cars to pass and one vehicle was coming so fast it hit the incline (this location sits on a hill) and dang near took their bumper off. Smh. My light turned green, I turned going up that same hill getting behind them in line at Popeyes. The line was long so I decided to go inside. the car ahead of me had the same idea I guess, reversed their car and parked next to me. I tried to rush away from them, slowly but surely, as they were driving reckless.
A girl and her friend who both looked like they threw on the first clothes they could find to make it here jumped out the car saying, «Uh huh, don’t be trying to rush and beat us in the store». I tried to keep a straight face and looked appalled but was totally trying to beat them. I sped walked then said funk it and started sprinting. Both of them took off running and I just let go and let God. I am a gentleman, let me get the door for you…(clears throat) ladies.
They were cool though. One even knew about that crack in a package called Cajun Sparkle. Her friend was like, «What’s that?» At the same time, we said, «Don’t even worry about it» Quantities are limited and I need 2 handfuls at a time please and thank you.
In essence, this review was not about the food. It’s Popeye’s, some of the best fast food chicken in the game. This was just an experience I had to share. They did change the décor about 3 months ago. It is a completely different place. I think that «Louisana» branding they tried also went away.

The best fast food fried chicken, good red beans and rice, and good biscuits. Service generally friendly, but uniformly unfocused and sloooowww.

The food here is fine, but the service is terrible. There is always a long line of people inside the restaurant waiting for their food. Seems like every time I am there I end up waiting 15 minutes or more for my order. They call out orders by the food that was made, and not by the order number. So if they got your order wrong (which happens plenty), you won’t even know that it’s your food which is ready. Often there is nobody even taking orders at the counter, with several people waiting in line. I still go there about once a week, because the food is still good and I get long enough lunch breaks that I can sit around waiting for a while. But the service is absolutely terrible here.

I reluctantly write this review as I really enjoy Popeye’s food. It is convienent to my office and the food is delicious. The big issue is the drive-​thru order accuracy.
Honestly, this restaurant couldn’t fill a drive-​thru order correctly if their lives depended on it. The drive-​thru staff repeat back the order correctly, but what is delivered is anyone’s guess. Today was particularly bad. Nothing was correct except the side order. My recommendation is to check your order before you leave the window, even if there are people waiting behind you. Better yet, go elsewhere. Taco Bell, Sonic, Arby’s, Wendy’s, Chick-​fil-​A, Burger King, and Crystal’s are all a short distance from this Popeye’s, all with drive-​thrus.
As for me, I’m done with this location.

Most people already know what Popeyes does best: fried chicken. If you enjoy fried chicken and you want it fast, this is a good place to go. I’m fond of their red beans and rice and biscuits, as well.
The real reason I’m reviewing this particular Popeyes is because of the atmosphere. The restaurant is clean and tidy, including the women’s restroom. That’s SO important to us ladies. I can’t tell you how nice it is to visit a fast food joint and find a clean, nice-​smelling restroom. The clean environment is why I will always choose this Popeyes over the myriad of other fast food chicken shops in my area.

It was sad to know that this place is no longer the Louisiana Kitchen but just another Popeyes. Regardless, the food is still awesome!
What can I say? It is a fried chicken joint and it is Popeyes! Mouth-​watering, making you fat and happy Fried Chicken from New Orleans!
Biscuits are 2-​die-​for-​ly delicious. I also love the Po Boys Sandwich. YUM!
The interior is nice looking and I have always enjoyed the décor, however, the staff can be air-​headed. And it has been this way since the day this place was opened for business.
Ain’t nobody making chicken like Popeyes!
