Texaco Express Lube

A few months ago I visited this station for an oil change. They left my coolant cap off and it ended up shooting antifreeze all across my engine and emptying my radiator. The manager at the time was named Kevin. He was nice and eager to avoid a claim. He gave me a voucher for a free oil change and refilled my radiator for free. I was happy. Today I returned to claim that will change and the new manager was immediately hostile towards me. Believe his name is Ambrose. I must’ve made a huge mistake by stepping over their guard rope to speak with him, he got in my face and aggressively forced me back out of the Bay Area. Tell immediately he had absolutely no intention of even hearing what I had to say. His only comment was that he was not going to be giving me anything for free, and he was not interested in calling Kevin at his new store bc if he gave me a free oil change it would «come out of his numbers.»
What amazing customer service! I thanked him for all of his help sarcastically and left.
It looks like at this location your choices are either to have your car messed up or to be treated extremely rudely. Either way I will never be returning here and I do not suggest any of you do either.

I used to frequent this place for my oil changes since it is so close to where I work. Then one day I talked my other half into taking her truck here instead of driving far to where her original mechanic resides. The next time she went to her old mechanic and he was like «who did your last oil change? You need to take it back to them and have them replace the oil pan because they tightened the bolt too much and it is creating a hole and oil is leaking. So she took it back and they told her it was not like that at all. She just needed a new bold because it was stripped and so they did the oil change and put a new bold on there. Then she started taking it to my mechanic. The first question out of her mouth when we took it in for her next oil change was… wait for it…“who did your last oil change? You need to take it to them and raise hell about what they did to your oil pan.» Yup… they did a number on it alright. We will never return. The GM told her she’d never get a new pan out of them. My friend ended up replacing it for her because this place refused. They also rotated my tires wrong when I had my LAST oil change done by them. I took it to where I got the tires to have them re-​rotated.
