I don’t get into Norfolk very often to eat, but this past Tuesday I tried No Frill Grill for the first time.
My wife and I ordered from the Tuesday special menu. Our dishes were very good, with ample servings. Nicely plated as well. We enjoyed eating in their outside enclosed patio.
Have to go again.

Let me start out by saying the service was great!
It seems unfair to give four stars which is what I wanted to give at first.
This is a pretty small place so I wouldn’t recommend a large party like I had when I went especially during the lunch rush. This is in Ghent so I don’t expect much different no matter where I go.
The only recommendation I would give is ease up on the burger toppings. My burger was great don’t get me wrong, but there was way too much onion on it. It was like an entire slice. Not just a piece but someone cut out an entire slice of onion and put all of it up there except for maybe the four smallest inner rings. Maybe just try two or three next time? Also, my bacon on my burger was a little too limp for me. I prefer a crispier bacon. The portions are also huge!
All in all it was great. I’d love to come back during a week night and have a beer (I was at a work lunch) and a burger.

1^st time here, was invited for a welcome home dinner for my cousins boyfriend. Located in norfolk. Parking is limited, so make sure you park in the right area.
Don’t judge the place from the outside too quickly. As you enter the place, the scene changes. A good size dining area and a bar.
Greeted by our waiter, and took our orders very fast. We ordered Nachos for our appetizer, which was like Mt everest on the scale of ants. It was truly loaded with everything and it was a great appetizer for a huge group of people to share.
I had Ordered the Spotswood Melt with crinkle cut fries. The sandwich melt was okay, the bread had too much butter it made the sandwich a bit hard to eat and swallow, so I ate off of my boyfriends (philly cheesesteak) which i recommend, very simple, but delicious, and then finished my fries. You gotta make sure when you order, you know that you’ll eat it.
