White Lotus Sushi

This is one of those reviews that need a little preface. If this were a review on a Sushi bar or restaurant, it would be fewer stars. But, this is a food stand and if not for the lack of wheels, would be on par with a shrimp truck evaluation.
One thing going for this place is variety. There is not a wide selection of lunch options nearby unless you are willing to drive off site. And, White Lotus also has a respectable variety in the assortment of sushi dishes offered. Sure it isn’t the same as one of our usual sushi haunts however, these package gems are prepared fresh daily and are reasonably priced.
They’ve added in a few hot bowls too. Judging from the sample, the marinated chicken was flavorful and tender, cubed on a bed of rice and steamed vegetables.
The stand and refrigerator case seem clean and sanitary. The women staffing the stand are always very courteous and helpful, answering any questions with knowledge and detail.
Again, for a food stand, this hits the mark earning five stars in contrast to many stand type «restaurants». The review is not intended to be evaluating to the same standard I would for a sit in and dine type sushi restaurant.
