Sherman’s

We have had the Very Best 5 star service in Applicance Repair at Sherman’s. Scott came out and fixed both the washer and the refrigerator in one visit. He knew exactly what was wrong. His 20 plus years of experience and keeping current on new appliance research was a great benefit for us! I liked Scotts can do, thinking out of the box philosophy. He saved us hundreds of dollars! My future business is All going to Sherman’s. Honey, I am buying that recliner that you been keeping your eye on!:). I will gladly recommend Sherman’s to friends and family. We had a great experience buying our couch and ottoman here. Tony was our salesman, an he was attentive to our needs and was never overbearing. He helped us find an excellent couch with a life time warranty on the frame and 10 years on the cushions. If we need furniture, Sherman’s is where we will go because they have the best prices, salesmen I am comfortable with and top-​of-​the-​line products.

I bought an England love seat with two (power) recliners, a separate England power recliner, and two TV mounts from this store. The sales person was AMAZING! It was the first furniture store we tried when we moved here from Missouri a month ago and needed furniture for our new condo. I told the sales person what we needed and he showed us exactly what we were looking for. We did not end up buying right then because I wanted to look at other stores. That was a waste of time. We should have just called it quits right then because we came back later that day and ordered the two furniture pieces. A week later we came back and ordered the TV mounts. They even delivered it exactly when we said we needed it to be delivered. They got brand new pieces to us the next week (we could have had next day delivery but we needed time to unpack some things before we could fit the furniture in the condo).
I would recommend this store to anyone looking for quality furniture for a good price and with sales people you can trust. Their prices were better than many of the other stores that we looked at and you won’t have to wonder if your sales person is lying to you like you will have to do if you go to Ashley Furniture (see my Ashley review to understand THAT problem). You can also feel comfortable that if your furniture is damaged in delivery that Sherman’s will fix it without a problem. Our singular power recliner sustained some damage on delivery and they sent a nice gentleman out here who is going to oder the part from England and get it fixed right up and they are getting it fixed in a very timely manner too.
This will be my «go to» place for furniture in the future.

Wow! This is how you should run a brick and mortar business, if you want to succeed in an internet world. We went shopping for a new dishwasher and refrigerator. We did our research on-​line, and did some shopping around town. But, from the minute we walked into Sherman’s, I knew we’d come to the right place. Our salesman, Eric, was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and patient. He knew the appliances inside and out, and really helped us find exactly what we wanted. And, if that wasn’t enough, he carried a tablet and searched for the best possible price on each appliance and then matched that price. We saved a LOT of money, and couldn’t be happier. The dishwasher was delivered the very next day (on a Sunday no less). They called at 9:00, said they’d be there between 10:00 and 12:00 and showed up promptly at 10:00. The delivery man was prompt, efficient and professional. I have never been more satisfied with a purchase, and will never again shop for an appliance or home electronic anywhere else. Fantastic!

Just had our new microwave installed! The guys were on time, polite and efficient. This is rarity these days, but Sherman’s is always the best!

Picked out appliances yesterday. Joe was helping us and he was the best. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the products and helped us pick out exactly what we needed. They also have great TVs and furniture– so I will probably be back soon. Ask for Joe when you go to Sherman’s!

Here’s my Sherman’s experience:
I needed a new bed. A friend told me to go to Sherman’s instead of buying something online or from Ikea. So I did.
I chose my mattress and asked a few questions about beds and whatnot, as my knowledge of beds consists of laying on them and determining whether or not I could fall asleep.
Upon asking the salesman about promotions or sales, he mentioned that –two weeks from this point– there would be a sale that would save me about $ 80. I said that was great, but that I needed the bed before then. He simply gave me the sale price early and cleared it with his manager.
All in all, I spent about 15 minutes in the store and I got a nice new bed and a great deal.

This is easily my favorite furniture store in town. I bought a new mattress and bedroom set here (on 3 separate shopping trips, no less) and couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of the items or the customer service.
I’d forgotten how crummy furniture salespeople can be until I was in the market for new furniture again. You know –the hard sell, the creepy camaraderie, the bogus «deals», the over-​the-​top celebration of holidays that *no one else* celebrates…
Well, Shermans is different. They answer questions helpfully and respectfully, don’t push the sale, tell you up front what you’re getting and what you’re not, have zero gimmicks, and are genuinely nice and helpful. Plus, they are willing to price-​match, so you can’t possibly get a better deal. I can see why they have only 5-​star reviews!
Note: In-​store selection can be a bit limited on some items, but it’s worth checking out their online collection.

I’m a big fan of Sherman’s. My wife and I purchased a mattress there early this year and have shopped there on many occasions. They are now advertising that you can ask any sales person to check competitor’s prices on their iPads! What a great way to be innovative without a large investment. I highly recommend shopping at Sherman’s before or after hitting the chain stores.

Sherman’s is great. We bought a stove, washing machine, and dryer there the week we bought our new house, but we had been in to browse several times before then. The employees there really know their stuff and tend to avoid the used-​car-​salesman, «hard sell» approach that drives me crazy.
They will match any price, but for the appliances we bought, they had the best prices I’ve seen advertised. I also liked the fact that they will deliver any day of the week, which was great for us, as we both work full time. Delivery was prompt and set-​up was quick.
We had a major problem with the washing machine we bought there, and Sherman’s helped us by setting us up with a GE repair technician. When it couldn’t be fixed in two visits, they sent out the delivery truck with a new one. Really great, local service – we’ll definitely be back!

So, after HOURS of appliance searches, we ended up at Shermans. Please note this review is based on our research experience. We are buying our appliances here, but they are not installed. I can not/​am not reporting on the service post-​purchase.
So, it’s a local place, which is really important to me. Mike Bradley is who we have been dealing with and he has been great. He got us specs and prices and found things that I really wanted. We made a trip out to their Peoria location (which is HUGE, by the way) and their appliance set ups are great.
They really advertise hometown service and I agree, that is what you get
