I love the girls here. They totally rock. Anytime you are looking for a shoe there is always someone to help you get a size. If they do not have your size they make great recommendations for something else. The prices are really good and the quality of their shoes are great as well.

I recently moved to the area and decided to stop in at Bakers since I love the one downtown, but I won’t be coming back to this one. The woman that was helping me was like a sales pitbull. She bombarded me as I walked in, grabbed one of my shopping bags and started pulling the clothes I bought out of it to find shoes that went with it. First of all, that’s rude. Second of all, I WASN’T BUYING SHOES FOR THAT OUTFIT there was no need for her to go through my bags. I’m done shopping here, I’ll stick to the loop store.

Although this location is one of the smaller ones, the girls that work here are very friendly and helpful. I picked out great shoes that were on sale for my birthday and one of the sales reps helped me pick out jewlery. They’re not pushy when it comes to sales, but rather helpful instead. The girl also suggested I get the shoe pads that go inside and outside of the shoes to prevent slips and to ensure the shoe fits properly so my feet aren’t sliding. This store is located inside the Harlem & Irving Plaza Mall (HIP) and you don’t have to worry about parking. The parking lot is pretty big and there’s 3 floors of parking available.
