Back to poor service. This place changed management a few months ago, which was totally welcome because the old management was horrendous. We had a few good experiences with the new management but our last two haircuts for our two young girls reverted to the old way of doing business.
Specifically, both my girls walked away with unevenly cut, generally poor haircuts. And that was after 45 minute waits because they only had two people working on weekend mornings. And when it’s finally your turn, the stylists are surely and don’t seem to like children. Definitely avoid this place until they can get their act in order.

We recently took my 2-year-old daughter here for her first haircut. The stylist who saw her did a great job and she was very friendly, so my daughter had a great time. I don’t have much to say about the actual haircut – my girl still doesn’t have a lot of hair so it wasn’t anything fancy or elaborate – but we were perfectly satisfied with it.
The prices are somewhat steep – $ 17 for a child’s haircut – so we probably won’t come here all the time, but for her first haircut we liked the idea of a place specifically geared toward kids. I’m glad we came here.

My grandson has gone here several times, and ends up with an ugly haircut, that grows out poorly. My peeve with hairdressers who won’t do what you ask is exemplified by this place. Go to the barber shop on Main St., right next to the fire station, now THEY give a great haircut for $ 12!

I brought my son here for his second haircut because I brought him for his first one at the Peabody location and they did a great job despite his squirming. I do really like the atmosphere and the toy dispensing machine but the woman that cut his hair did a HORRIBLE job! It’s uneven and choppy on top where she used scissors and there are stray hairs where she used the clippers which generally indicates that they haven’t been sharpened. It’s by far the worst haircut I’ve ever seen. I won’t be coming back here again, I could do a much better job and keep the $ 20 or maybe I’ll go back to Peabody.
