Best gun shop in the area. Small enough to be personal but plenty of variety & lots of knowledge on ammo & guns. Also offers the firearms safety course. Definitely worth checking out.

Probably the worst gun shop in the state. High prices, limited stock and poor attitudes.

small shop, but they do have some consignment weapons. you need to realize it’s also a bait shop. That being said the staff is helpful, the ammo is reasonable and the prices are not bad

This is an ok little gun shop. Prices are about what they are most places. Not cheap but not too too bad. I have been here a few times and the older man who I believe is the owner is very nice and will talk to you a bit but the younger help are rude as is in most gun shops for some reason. Honestly I stop in here but don’t do much buying here. I will still go here but they have not won my loyalty yet. Also, they have a small selection in pistols but if you need they can usually order anything for you.

Being new in the area and having waited months to get my LTC, I finally stopped in here. Firearm stores typically cater better to «regulars» and, in my experience, can be wary of newcomers. My first time in, the shop was crowded and busy, but the counter person I dealt with still managed to make time to answer my questions and make some small talk. My second time in, the shop wasn’t busy at all and I had the opportunity to interact with all the employees, including the owner, for about an hour or so. They were all very helpful and knowledgeable, the two most important aspects of a shop of this nature. They made me feel welcome and for that, I will continue to give them my business. As far as inventory goes, selection of firearms was definitely low, but in these political times, that was to be expected. Ammunition stock was decent and they had lots of reloading and fishing equipment. Firearm accessories seemed limited, but I would assume they can get anything you want, assuming it isn’t on some ridiculous backorder due to the latest national buying frenzy.

Employees are consistently rude when trying to make purchases, inquire about products, etc. I will not shop there any more, and advise those who want to be treated with courtesy by employees not to shop at this establishment.

Northeast Trading Company is one of the larger gun shops in the area. Customer service is usually excellent. They have a moderate selection of new and used firearms. Their ammo selection is good, but prices are on the high side. Northeast Trading Co’s strength is their reloading supplies — they have the best in-​stock selection of reloading components in the area. They’re also a commercial munitions reloader, and offer top quality reloaded ammunition at a very reasonable price.
