Village Mattress

My parents have purchased their mattresses here for years and now after going to numerous chain retailers with pushy gimmicy sales people, my husband and I ended up buying from Village mattress and will continue to do so. Great price, they worked with us on a down payment to hold our mattresses and customer service was 100%. People can whine about delivery time but hey, it’s free, and this is a family owned company obviously not a huge staff and they deliver all over so give them a break. We had a retail chain trying to charge us $ 100 for delivery JUST because we were looking at buying a floor model. My husband works in the field and most folks have no idea what hard work it can be, and most of the time don’t tip either. IF YOU TIP THE PIZZA GUY FOR A $ 20 PIZZA, YOU CAN TIP THE GUY SETTING UP AND DELIVERYING YOUR MATTRESS IF THEY DO A GOOD JOB!

Don’t be fooled by the allure of «free delivery». They didn’t show up until 2 hours past the latest time we were told. I don’t even have the expectation that a delivery is always going to happen within the time frame originally quoted… I understand that things happen… but at some point, they MUST have realized they had fallen 2 – 3 HOURS behind and a phone call was warranted. They never offered an apology even when we called to ask when they would arrive. Once we called again… at the 2hr late mark to complain, we were offered a very insincere apology followed by several excuses (traffic, etc) provided with an annoyed tone from the manager. In short, customer service was terrible. The delivery guys were very friendly when they did finally arrived however so it seems the real problem is with management.

Not a lot of beds/​mattresses to chose from, but the prices are GREAT.
The waterbed inventory is half the price of other dealers, and there aren’t too dealers carrying waterbed accessories anymore. Owner is very nice and accommodating. Definitely worth the drive out to Aurora.
