Huxdotter Specialty Coffee

I’ve worked at Starbucks for 3 years, turned into a coffee shop snob, and the frozen hot chocolate at this cute little stand is the best thing I’ve ever tasted. Must stop by and can’t wait until I’m back!!!

As a newer resident of North Bend, I’ve visited this coffee shop as well as the others around town several times. They are the best in town as far as I’m concerned. My wife loves them too and she is way more picky than I am about her coffee. The staff are really friendly and the drinks are consistently good. It’s a bit off the main drag but worth it. Prices are reasonable too.

This place is legit! Been going here on a regular basis for awhile now and I often get told that I always seem happy, well its because its nice to frequent this coffee stand. To be greeted with my usual Beastmode with black berry drink already ready by the time I get to the window is pretty awesome to say the least! It is bitter sweet though, because the ladies that work there are a pleasure to talk to, but nice at the same time knowing that there is the personable feeling that you get from a coffee stand that always seems to be busy.

This coffee shop is a small stand that my girlfriend and I happened upon one day after driving back from three forks dog park. And I’m glad that we did.
I got the Mexican mocha. It was delightful! The cinnamon inside made the coffee for me, and the espresso itself wasn’t bitter at all. I find that a lot of coffee shops try to make the shots of espresso strong, but end up just making it bitter. This place nailed it in my opinion.
My girlfriend got a white chocolate mocha and she kept going, «mmm» so, I’ll take that as a good sign :)
On top of that, they usually have little dog treats for your pup and that’s always a nice touch.
The girls working there are super nice and great to talk to. I’ve already been back a couple of times.
If you’re in the mood for some great coffee, give this place a go.

Service and coffee is amazing! It can get busy sometimes but the ladies get through it quickly.

I love Huxdotter’s for their granitas in the summer time, but nothing else. Something about their hot coffees/​lattes just isn’t quite there. I like drinks a little sweet, not overly sweet… So it’s not an issue of it not being sweet enough. I’ve tried their mocha several times, and I’m not going to try another time. I just don’t like their drinks. Seems a bit expensive compared to other locals. I’ll be back next summer for a granita. :)

I left Huxdotter’s completely disappointed today. The times I have gone there before I have asked for an egg and cheese sandwich and they happily handed over just that. Today I asked for an egg and cheese sandwich and she asked if I wanted sausage or ham. I said that I am a vegetarian so no meat. She said they don’t have a plain egg and cheese and that she could just peel the meat off.
Wait…what?! I can understand that for someone who may just not like meat being ok with having a sandwich that has been smothered in meat and just had that meat peeled off. This is something that they should tell people. The first time I ordered it the girl knew I was a vegetarian. I guess maybe she didn’t have any common sense because I think most people would take that to mean that I’m not okay with a meat sandwich that had the meat pulled off.

Great coffee and friendly baristas. This will always be our coffee stop in North bend. We got americanos, one iced and one hot and the flavor was rich.

This is one of a few local coffee shops that I frequent regularly here in the valley.
Huxdotter’ does a great job. It’s locally owned and operated, which is important to me. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of turnover, which suggests that they treat the help well. Service is prompt and pleasant, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad drink there. It’s a great drive-​through in the heart of town, far better than the mermaid joint over by the interstate.

The girls here are great! They make very tasty coffee and are super speedy! They have tons of tasty treats and a punch card! Love it!

Wednesday is double stamp day.

I love Huxdotters. They make a great latte. The coffee never tastes burnt. Drinks are always at a drinkable temp which is great because I want to drink my coffee not wait 30 mins so I don’t scorch my face off. The workers are always friendly and helpful.

On the go? Come here! They are quick and have an assortment of milks, hemp milk being the best dairy free options. Just double check your drink before you go, if the girls don’t get it right they are never mad or rude about making another.

I started coming here after I started working in North Bend this week. Although there is not enough space in the drive thru to wait for coffee, when I get to the window the girls are very welcoming and gladly take my reusable cup to get my daily fix of mocha happiness. Their shots are pulled in time and taste reasonably good. Their drinks are custom made to order (like all places, I guess) but they take time to make sure what you want before actaully making it. I will be coming back here more often.

I love this place. Coffee, coffee, coffee! Hands down my favorite coffee stand EVER! Everytime I’m in the area I stop for my usual. Even though I live in Seattle, I keep their stamp card in my car just in case. So rich and delicious!

North Bend, like most small towns in the Seattle area, has many choices for coffee, from Starbucks to the local drive through espresso stands. Huxdotter’s is the latter, and it is my drive through of choice. I really like their espresso, and they have all the other possibilities, i.e., chai, smoothies, coffee-​infused shakes to name a few. They also have some bakery items, from bagels to pink cookies to muffin tops. The owner and all of the baristas are very nice, and many have worked their way through high school there. They have a small amount of seating outside. It’s Saturday morning, and I will be showing up there as usual.

Best coffee in North Bend! This is the only choice if you are in the area. Speedy service and personable staff, the coffee here beats the pants off most any chain or espresso huts! On top of that, the prices are super reasonable. I get my morning fix here daily and have never been disappointed, always consistent quality. Also offer a small selection of pastries and sweet snacks. Can get busy, but they move the line fast. Some parking on the side between the car wash and the coffee shop. Don’t miss!
