I just moved to the neighborhood and have been to Hong Kong Chinese four times and have loved what I’ve ordered every time. The vegetarian options are plentiful and you just can’t beat these prices. $ 4.75 lunch special including the entrée, rice, and a soup or soda? Amazing! Plus the staff are courteous and the food is always ready quickly, usually as soon as I get there if I have ordered in advance. I will definitely continue eating here.

When I first moved into my apartment down the corner I decided to give them a try, bad choice later did I find out when I received my food and I had no idea what I was eating. Never again.

This one started off bad and went to worse. We were staying at the same hotel as last year, and was looking forward to ordering the chinese food again since it was great last time. Being lazy, I just asked the front desk for the menu, and didn’t bother to double check that it was the same one (it’s not). So I ordered, and after 50 minutes called to check on the order. After figuring out that the person wrote down the wrong room number, they said they were on the way. Then, another 20 minutes later we called again and they had the wrong hotel.
So finally, the food arrives and the order is wrong, and luke warm. I don’t think the food would have been much better if it were hot though. The shrimp & scallops had 3 shrimp, and about ½ a scallop. The sauce itself was bland, and overall fairly tasteless. The dumplings were dry and bland, and the orange chicken was bleech…
So if your in Secaucus, go with the other chinese place.
