Great appetizers and yummy martinis! I enjoyed the salad I ordered, and the service was attentive. Nice location — I wish they were open Sundays!

This was our first time at the Twisted Olive. We got an appetizer and one free with a coupon. We split a meal also and added on two small salads. The food was amazing. Everything was delicious. We brought home leftovers even. We plan on going back and we have discovered where we want to take out of town guests in July. We had calamari, the Brussel sprouts, the meatballs with the orecchiette. I had the fig salad and my husband had the Italian salad. Both were just the right size. I loved mine. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant.

Went to the twisted olive and tried the appetizers.(Happy hour appetizers) Delicious Brussel sprouts and everything was fresh tasting and temperature of food was great. Hubby and I had iced tea with shots of flavoring. He had blueberry and I had raspberry. Just yummy. The best part of our experience was our server. His name was Alex A. Very knowledgable about the menu He suggested a few things to try. We did and he was on point! I would suggest asking to sit in his area. I definitely will! Twisted Olive keep doing what your doing because you are certainly standing out from the others!

I had heard such great reviews about this place that my sisters and i went there in Spring of 2015. It was mediocre at best. The restaurant was not terribly busy on a Friday around 2:00 but the service was very slow. Our food was not great and the mint juleps were terrible. We didn’t even finish them. My sister ordered a side salad and it was never brought to her, so she canceled it when the main entrée came. The atmosphere is beautiful but was not enough for us to consider ever going back.

Great atmosphere. Brussel sprouts appetizer was the best Brussel sprout dish I have ever had. Good wine selection that they make right there.

Went with a large group for Easter dinner and sat in a great room in the basement with a big round table. Great for such a big group to be able to talk to everyone. Amazing bloody Mary’s, most of us got the manly Mary with bacon and bourbon. Someone ordered the«Bloody Mary experience» which was a meal in itself. We like to share so I got to try a lot of different appetizers and entrees and everyone was impressed with everything. The Brussels sprouts and the scallops really stood out.

We had reservations at The Twisted Olive for Mother’s Day at 3:45. After hearing good things about the restaurant, we were expecting something in line with what we paid for, but it missed the mark. The drive onto the grounds, the restaurant ambiance and visual esthetics were spot on. My family of 5, all adults, was seated downstairs in a sparsely filled restaurant and we were almost immediately forgotten about. It took the waitress so long to ask for our drink order that we had all selected an appetizer and entrees prior to her arrival even though none of us had ever seen the menu. The appetizers, calamari and Brussels sprouts, were small, but very good. We each had a different entrée and had 5 different experiences. The food arrived timely and was well presented. The Bianca pizza was cold within minutes of arriving at the table. The salmon was dry and overcooked. The apple & fig salad lacked enough dressing to consider it as part of the salad. It took two requests and 15 minutes to get a small cup of dressing added. The filet was cooked perfectly as was the twisted pizza. For the two pizzas, I’d say they were both flavored very well with excellent texture and excellently seasoned crusts. Both are well worth the $ 15 price in both size and flavor. I wavered between 2&3 stars, but landed on 2 for the following reasons. The service and food were substandard for the price paid. Perhaps my expectations were high. Perhaps it would have been better if we drank something other than water. In the end, we can get better food, similar ambiance, and a broader selection at a few other places in the area for about the same price or less.

Was able to get a reservation at 815PM on a Friday night. I’ve been here before but sat down stairs in the bar area where it was first come. This time I was seated on the main level. Obviously the food is pretty amazing and the décor is outstanding. It seems just a bit over priced for what you get. I understand Gervasi being priced the way it is, you get to roam the grounds in the spring and warmer months and have the whole experience, where here at the Twisted Olive its just the restaurant. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy this place — and I’ll obvious be back and recommend it to my friends. It’s just a bit pricey for what you get in my opinion.

I first had lunch at the Twisted Olive before the official opening and was highly impressed. I was there on a date a few months ago and although we had reservations, we were given a horrible small table in a busy space. Our waiter was outstanding however and compensated a bit. The room was so loud that we were unable to talk and defeated the purpose of a date. The food however was amazing! I am returning tonight(Valentine’s Day) with another date who has never been there. I am interested to see what happens on this romantic holiday as I felt they clearly cater to large groups over couples.

Facilities are very nice. Huge lodge, well decorated and bright. Didn’t have reservations, so we had to sit in the bar in the basement. Service was good. Bought a bottle of wine. Wine was very good, but glasses were dirty. Ordered the meatball pasta and the BAT pizza. Both were very good, but the EVOO on the pizza made it pretty oily with the cheese. Service was ok, just a bit slow. Server was nice. Wine prices make this an expensive meal, $ 67 for pizza, pasta, bottle of wine and tip. Wine bottles are small and only have 2 ½ glasses. I’ll come back.

Birthday lunch with my family was so much fun here! Upscale décor, attentive service and a delicious red Zin at this unexpected winery in Ohio! Crab cakes were ok — needed crisped up more and desperately need a spicy aioli to go with. Thin crust bacon arugula pizza was the best — can’t beat bacon from the Midwest :)

Solid 4 We’ve been here 4 – 5 times since they opened. Each time the staff was great. Menu is decent depending on your tastes. For a sure thing, I suggest ordering a few pizzas and the Mac n cheese and split it all with the table(family style). Love the décor. We’re glad to have you in Green.

Everything about this place is incredible. The design is beautiful mixing country charm with modern touches of design. High ceilings, great walk out patio, and beautiful views. You can get a reservation and sit in one of their spacious dining areas. Other options include a bar area on the main floor that is first-come-first-served, and an entire lower level bar area that is full service for the complete menu. My wife and I arrived early and find a little spot with two comfy chairs, grabbed a drink, and chatted while we waited for our table. The drinks were reanably priced — my wife had a YeungLing which was $ 3 and I had a margarita on the rock at $ 5. Our appetizer was the flatbread which was decent, but could have used a bit more seasoning. For the dinner portion of the evening my wife had the smocked gouda mac and cheese while I elected for a shrimp and polenta special. Dinner was delicious — the polenta cake was DY-NO-MITE! I decided to go all the way and had one of the gourmet ice cream sandwiches made from cookies from a local bakery and ice cream from a local creamery. It was worth the bloated feeling later. Staff was excellent — extremely clean — wonderful experience. TIP — get a reservation a few days in advance. We logged on to open table the night before and only had 4:30 or 9:00pm as reservation options — book early!

Was excited to try this place after a trip that had me flying out of CAK. The grounds are beautiful as is the space and both made a great first impression. We were seated right on time at a lovely patio table with a view and then from there things went downhill. After we ordered drinks our waiter came back and we let him know that the hostess had mistakenly brought over two extra menus, we were only a party of two. He then informed us we were in the computer as a party of 4. I’m not sure why– we made our reservation for 2. Then, he asked us to move to a back table away from the view since there wasn’t 4 of us. Well at that point we were comfortable and happy and didn’t want to move so we asked to stay. He clearly wasn’t pleased by this and ignored us for the rest of the evening as best he could. We never heard the specials. We never had refills and we waited a long time for the check. The reason the review isn’t worse is that the food was good. I had a great strawberry and Brie salad and my boyfriend enjoyed his pasta dish. The view was great as was the food but not sure we’ll be back due to the service.

Second time to the Twisted Olive and this time it was much better than the first trip. Waiter was super attentive. Food was much better than first go. Crab cake sliders were delicious and just the right amount of food. I asked for substitution of a salad instead of fries and was happily accommodated. Try the fig or date balsamic dressing! Great improvement on the dessert menu too. Cheesecake was delicious! Outdoor seating is beautiful although we were seated inside. :-(Our large long table was a bit awkward with a party of nine which is always a difficult number to work with for seating. This time though I felt like I was sitting in the entry way since there is no division wall or backdrop from the hostess area and entrance other than another long table with some glass bottles. The patio on the lower level overlooking the water is peaceful and serene and was totally empty. It would be great if there fire pits there. A bit surprised that it wasn’t more crowded given the Hall of Fame weekend but it was First Friday and the Aerosmith concert.

It just breaks my heart. I want to like this place but they need some help. I usually give ma and pa places(non-chain, locally owned) a break but I’ve never been happy leaving here, or Gervasi for that matter. I’ve decided to give the servers a pass. The managers need to leave because obviously service is consistently horrendous. In the time it takes to get your food I could have gone to Giant Eagle waited in their long lines on a weekend and went back home. Then I could have started preparing a Beef Wellington gourmet meal in the time it took Twisted Olive to make one simple pepperoni pizza! The pizza is terrible. I know everyone wants local and non-gmo blah blah blah but I’d rather have Pizza Hut any day compared to their sad things. The only thing they have working in their favor is the atmosphere; but guess what? That’s free, so if you like take your date there and sneak some food in and have a picnic on the lawn. It’s places like this that really make me hate eating out. My own home cooking is 100x better and much cheaper. I dread the next time we’re invited here again. The only thing I enjoyed tonight were the friends we were with.

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner on a Saturday night. We made a reservation and were seated a few minutes later. The only thing I felt odd was that instead of handing out buzzers, we were asked to give them my cell phone number and I would receive a txt when our table was ready. Not sure how efficient this process is, since I felt like I had to stare at my phone the entire time we were waiting. We were seated in a booth towards the back of the restaurant and to be honest, the light hanging above us was so bright and hanging so low, it was distracting and uncomfortable. But the place was so busy, we just dealt with it. We started our order out with fried calamari. It was just OK and the portion was rather small. I ordered the«Twisted» spicy pie and while the portion was HUGE, literally large enough to feed four people, the flavor was a bit bland and the crust a bit soggy. My BF ordered the Salmon which he throughly enjoyed. Overall, I think this was place was just about average. The décor and ambiance was quite noisy. I’m really not sure what kind of look they’re going for. It reminded me of a ski lodge with modern décor elements. For the price, I would probably go elsewhere.

I heard positive things about the Twisted Olive so a group of us decided to check it out on a Saturday night. Both levels of the restaurant were packed and had a good vibe. We waited about 40 min to be seated but no biggie as there are two bar areas to help pass the time. Once seated, we shared a variety of items from the menu: calamari, fig salad, grow up grilled cheese sandwich, crab cake sliders, lobster pasta, fries and the buckeye pie. There were no leftovers. It’s safe to say we were all satisfied with the food experience and we had great service! After smashing all that food, we walked around and peeked through different sections of the restaurant to check out the décor and ambiance.
