The service was quick considering the number of people inside and the line of cars in the drive through. The gyro was excellent, tasty and filling! Will definitely go back!

Stop by and purchase the shrimp basket fish and fries. When u see a generous portion of seafood u think ok this is gonna be delicious. The shrimp has no seasoning and the fish is blend. Seafood needs to taste good not just look good. The fries are not soft at all. Some red seasoning on those. I won’t be returning here. I cook better at home.

this place is off the chain. If you are looking for a restaurant that is better than fast food but will not break you. this is it! The gyro with fries is excellent. So are the shrimp and tilapia. the food is fried crisp and is fresh. the fries are season just right. the portions were big but not the bill. nothing was greasy here; only tasty. Loved it!

I ordered a steak philly and fries at the drive through which took a awhile to come out. That’s not a bad thing because you know it’s being made to order. The sandwich came stacked with meet and the fries were nice and hot. Not bad for about $ 10 bucks. I like my steak to have a bit more flavor because the meat was kind of bland. The fries were seasoned nicely. I may give Nicks another shot because their menu has a quite the selections. 3 stars for now.

Finally decided to stop by Nicks today on my way home after passing it for months. So glad I did! I got the philly, and it’s probably one of the best ones I’ve had in a while. Not to mention how big and full of meet the sandwich was. For the price, you can’t beat this place.

Update review: got the gyro this time and it didn’t disappoint. Huge portion of meat and was delicious. However would have liked it to be a bit hotter in temperature. Service was quick just like last time. There’s so much other things on the menu so might have to play roulette next time I come in. My first dukedom whoop!

Hopefully my experience was an anomaly: Let me start by saying I went through the drive-thru or I would have worked to correct these issues in person. First of all my tea had way too much soap in it; gross and undrinkable. Next, I tried my «superhot» wings, which I am sure were doused in a Texas Pete knock off without any attempt to up the heat. Third my wings were in a soup of this sauce, so the sauce got all over my car and made the bag they were in fall apart. Also the soupy sauce made the wings mushy. Finally the gyro; at least it tasted pretty good, though it did not resemble the picture with nice cuts of gyro meat and large chunks of diced tomatoes, thick tzatziki, and some shreds of lettuce on top. Instead the gyro had one sliver of tomato under a smörgåsbord of tiny meat morsels mixed with shreds of lettuce in a tzatziki sauce. At least the gyro tasted good, which gives me hope that the other issues are fixable and maybe an isolated incident.

Love the size of shrimps. It’s a good price for the shrimp’s menu and seafoods. Large portion and you can split half and half with your friend.

Prices were very cheap. Who doesn’t love cheap prices? Unfortunately the food was cheap as well. I guess you get what you paid for. My wife and I ordered a bunch of food. We had a gyro, philly cheese steak, onion rings, red velvet cake and cheesecake. The onion rings were good. Nice and crispy. The gyros lacked the Mediterranean taste you may desire. I was disappointed with the flavor. The philly cheese steak was decent. But I was a little confused as to what kind of meat they were even using, which in itself is bad. The red velvet cake was dry and didn’t really taste fresh. The same can be said for the cheesecake. Can’t beat the prices here but I can’t say I liked the food.

Good food, good value, slow service. Drive thru line backs up to Rivers occasionally.

I ordered the scallop combo(scallops, shrimp, fries, slaw and hush puppies) and he ordered the Philly and gyro. The shrimp were bigger than expected and delicious! The fries were seasoned to perfection with the right amount of potato to «fry» ratio. He loved both and couldn’t finish even though he has the appetite of a small Sasquatch. I literally debated on 4 stars. Here’s why: Pros: 1.Open super late, I think 4am, for all the night owls(night shift workers, pregnant women, stoners, insomniacs, etc.) 2. The wait was NOT long at all(10 mins max for all the food we ordered) 3. A lot of food… no seriously it was a lot a lot(RIP to the fries that will stay in the fridge until hubby deems they’ve aged long enough to be dumped) 4. Friendly and patient staff while we stared droolingly at the menu for 10 mins overwhelmed with choices 5. Drive thru, so feel free to go in your best onesie 6. They have livers! If you’re into that kind of thing 7. Reasonable price range. You should be able to eat pretty well with $ 7-$ 12. Cons: 1. Scallops weren’t great, pretty tasteless considering they were the«main event». Pretty good size though. 2. Sweet tea was on the cusp of being old. You know that weird taste? It was almost that weird taste. 3. Slaw was warm after being in the same container as the freshly fried food. Meh. 4. Hushpuppies were not the business whatsoever. 5. Combos DONOT come with drink. All in all, great experience! Will be back to try a few different things! If you’re debating, just go ahead and give it a try!

Was surprised how good the Philly cheesesteak was. 8 out of 10 in my books and I’ve had the best in philly from Pats and Tony Luke’s. Great value $ 8.99(with fries and a drink) Staff are very friendly, enthusiastic and enjoy their work. Will definitely be back again.

I live in Hanahan and my husband works in the area, so I saw this place almost immediately after it opened; pop the word«gyro» on the sign and you’ve got me already. The restaurant itself is bland. Not unclean, but nothing spectacular either. I’m not here to lick the floors or be wowed by the ambiance or anything(I’m a poor college grad, after all) so that didn’t really bother me. I ordered the gyro; I knew that was what I’d order before I even came. A gyro itself is $ 6.50, which is actually pretty reasonable. It doesn’t come with lettuce, which is awesome, since I always ask for gyros without. The gyro wasn’t fantastic by any means, but I’d definitely buy it again. My husband ordered the crab cake. I thought it was pretty disgusting, but he seemed to enjoy it. Not worth the $ 3.50 we paid. We’ll go back again, though the prices are a little high(barring the gyro) for what we’d usually expect. They’re open until something like 2am, too, which is a plus for all your midnight gyro cravings in North Charleston. If they added delivery that’d gain them some points in my book.

Situation: A friend and I went here yesterday after one of our coworkers hyped this place up for a week. Décor/cleanliness: 3 Nothing to really mention here. Its a no-thrills experience which is acceptable considering the type of establishment this is. Food: 1.5 We ordered a crab cake for an appetizer, a number 3 combo(Philly cheese steak, fries, and a drink), a number 10 combo(friend shrimp, wings — lemon pepper and hot, and a drink), and a slice of red velvet cake. The crab cake was about what you could expect for one costing $ 3.50. It was mostly breading and even that wasn’t really all that interesting; maybe this is good if you never had the opportunity to eat a better crab cake? Ill pass! The fried shrimp, fries, and wings were exactly that-nothing really stood out; I have had much better versions elsewhere and can get much better here in West Ashley at similar prices! The red velvet cake was the biggest disappointment. It was dry and didn’t have much in the way of flavor(I retract that-there was a bit of a weird taste that I wasn’t expecting). So, we both ended up only taking one bite and had to throw it away!(Maybe we should have gotten the carrot cake instead?) This made us a bit sad since we both hate to waste food but I love myself too much to force myself to bear with this«meal» any further than necessary. Service: 2.5 There was a bit of a wait but they got our orders right, so that’s something I guess(I actually was a bit worried when the cashier appeared to be a bit confused about the concept of dividing the total by 2 and he actually forgot that we had drinks immediately after he put in our order!). Overall: 2.3(rounds down to 2) I wasn’t expecting anything amazing but this still managed to disappoint. Due to the lackluster food and«meh» service, I couldn’t see myself driving back to this side of town just to get food from here.
